Crystal Bowersox And New Husband Perform Song Together – EXCLUSIVE PHOTOS & VIDEOS

On 10-10-10, American Idol runner-up Crystal Bowersox married longtime boyfriend and fellow musician, Brian Walker in Chicago. The duo, along with their baby were at The Grove in Los Angeles Wednesday to perform a couple of songs for Extra, off of her upcoming album, “Farmer’s Daughter which will be released December 14. Yes, the duo even sang a beautifully-moving song together which you can watch below.
About her upcoming album, Bowersox said, “it contains some heavy stuff, but it’s important for people to talk about issues of child abuse.”
Bowersox, mother of a beautiful baby boy, was asked if she was considering having another baby. She replied, “my manager wants me to do at least one tour before I get pregnant again.” Her husband Brian was heard saying “Booooooo” off stage during this comment. It was quite cute.

Katy Perry Wants To Be Called Mrs. Russell Brand

You may soon be calling her, “Mrs. Katy Brand.” Currently known as Katy Perry, the songstress chatted with Ellen DeGeneres on Ellen’s daytime talk show Wednesday about how she has already begun the process to legally take her new husband’s name. You know, that funny guy Russell Brand.

When asked if she already gets called “Mrs. Brand” Katy admitted: “I do actually!”
Katy continued: “When people try to get my attention, like if I’m at an event or something like that, and they want special attention, they go, ‘Mrs. Brand!’ And I go shwoosh!”

When Ellen asked Katy about married life with her new husband, Katy said: “There is never a dull moment. A sense of humor is really important in our household. That’s how we de-stress and we like to have a laugh.”

About Me

Parisa Michelle

Los Angeles, California, United States
They call me the Celeb Magnet. Quite a funny title for someone who until recently has only lived in places far far away from Hollywood. Yet, somehow, no matter where I hid, I was never able to keep the stars away and they would randomly find me in the unlikeliest of places. Gwen Stefani, Orlando Bloom, Keanu Reeves, Heath Ledger, Jon Bon Jovi, just to name a few. So, I saw these star encounters as a sign that I belong in Hollywood. On a whim and without any planning, I quit my job as an attorney/executive at AOL, and in a matter of two months, sold my house, gave away almost everything I owned except my dog, Jovi, and moved across the country to Los Angeles in September of 2008. This blog will chronicle my adventures in a city filled with drama, charm, unpredictability and magic. I don’t know what the stars have in store for me in LaLa Land, but I can promise you unforgettable adventures if you come along with me for the ride………..

Injuries On The Set of Skating With The Stars – Brandon Mychal Smith Will Miss Show

Just as we all feared, Skating with the Stars has proved to be a dangerous gig for not only the celebrities who do not know how to well, ice skate, but for their professional partners as well.

There were two separate incidents today, the first of which was not directly related to the show.

First, Disney Channel star Brandon Mychal Smith -who stars in Sonny with a Chance with Demi Lovato- was hospitalized after experiencing breathing problems on the set. He will not be skating tonight.  Per his rep his condition is either viral or food poisoning. He is “resting” at home now.

Only a few hours later, Brooke Castille‘s finger was sliced open while practicing with celebrity partner and Olympic gold medal skier Jonny Mosely.

TMZ reports that she was rehearsing her routine when Mosley’s skate somehow caught her finger, slicing it down to the bone. She was taken to a nearby hospital and got several stitches.

These injuries come on the heels of Rebecca Budig injuring her wrist in practice earlier this week. Rebecca was cleared to perform Monday.

Skating With the Stars airs at 8 p.m. ET. Here are the elimination and performance results from Monday’s show.

Bristol Palin Writes Open Letter To Margaret Cho: “My Mom Did Not ‘Force’ Me To Do DWTS”

They say, “Don’t Mess with Texas.” But I think these days the more appropriate saying should be, “Don’t Mess with Alaska!” More specifically, it should be, “don’t mess with Bristol Palin” because she will not hesitate before firing right back at ya!

First, Bristol slung pellets at another teenage boy on Facebook who made fun of Sarah Palin’s show, Alaska. Then, she blasted Keith Olbermann for naming her the “Worst Person in the World,” by saying what Olbermann “lacks in originality he makes up for with insincere incredulity.”

Now, Bristol has aimed her focus on comedian and fellow Dancing with the Stars cast member, Margaret Cho.  In a recent note posted on her own blog called “Pistol Whipped,” Cho wrote, “I heard from someone who really should know (really should seriously know the dirt really really) that the only reason Bristol was on the show was because Sarah Palin forced her to do it.”

Cho continued, “Sarah supposedly blames Bristol harshly and openly (in the circles that I heard it from) for not winning the election, and so she told Bristol she ‘owed’ it to her to do DWTS so that ‘America would fall in love with her again’ and make it possible for Sarah Palin to run in 2012 with America behind her all the way. Instead of being supposedly ‘handicapped’ by the presence of her teen mom daughter, now Bristol is going to be an ‘asset’ – a celebrity beloved for her dancing. I am sure the show wasn’t in on this (but who knows anything really).”
Cho’s blog post obviously did not sit well with Bristol who posted a long open letter to Cho on her Facebook page, interestingly enough, coded, “CHA-CHA-CHA to CHO-CHO-CHO–HERE’S A HINT: THREE DOG NIGHT.”
In the letter, Bristol writes, “I have explained my own motivations for accepting the invitation to dance, which included the simple fact that I was ready to get out of my comfort zone and try something new and challenging. I thought dancing would also be a great way to exercise–and it was. I thought it would boost my confidence–and it did. Notably absent from this calculus were political considerations. You want to talk politics, talk to my mom. You want to talk rumba, waltz and the beautiful Spanish paso doble, I’m your girl (but if you want to talk to the expert, call Mark [Ballas]).”

Bristol continues:

“I will give my friend credit for creativity, and extra points for getting so many ‘facts’ wrong in so few sentences. Let me be blunt: my mom did not ‘force’ me to go on DWTS. She did not ask me either. The show approached me. I thought about it. I made the decision….There you have it. Why do I want to set the record straight? Because it is this type of hurtful and false narrative that people promote to make my mom look bad. For 20 years my mom had my back–and for the rest of my life I will have hers…To my friend Margaret Cho, if you ever have a question, call me girlfriend. Don’t ever rely on ‘sources’ who claim to know me or my family. You will be taken every time. And we need to talk. You say you ‘don’t agree with the family’s politics at all’ but I say, if you understood that commonsense conservative values supports the right of individuals like you, like all of us, to live our lives with less government interference and more independence, you would embrace us faster than KD Lang at an Indigo Girls concert.”

There you have it. But what did poor KD Lang have to do with all this?!

So, what does Cho think of Bristol’s letter? Here is what Cho sent in response via Twitter:
