Mark Wahlberg is being sued by Marc Schiller who was portrayed in the 2013 flick ‘Pain & Gain’ by Monk star Tony Shaloub. Marc, the real-life victim of a 1994 violent kidnapping, says the film portrays him as “deplorable, unlikable, sleazy, rude, abrasive, womanizing braggart” who drinks, does drugs and fires people at will, instead of the “family man” that he is. Apparently, Wahlberg was supposed to be on one of the doomed planes out of Boston on that fateful day, but he decided to take a plane to Toronto a week early.

“If I was on that plane with my kids, it wouldn’t have went down like it did. There would have been a lot of blood in that first-class cabin and then me saying, ‘OK, we’re going to land somewhere safely, don’t worry.'” Continue reading

‘The Fighter’ Micky Ward Hospitalized After Dog Attack

“Irish” Micky Ward (the championship boxer portrayed by Mark Wahberg in The Fighter) got in a scuffle with a stray dog Wednesday and was injured.

TMZ reports that Ward was hospitalized for dog bites some time after the attack and is expected to remain there until Sunday.

Apparently, Ward was approached by an aggressive stray dog when walking his own dog.

As any loving pet owner would but probably shouldn’t, fighting champ or not, Micky got in between the dogs and got attacked instead.

He suffered bites on his arm and his right index finger was “almost taken off” by the attack. And as for Micky’s dog? He left the scene untouched.

Micky, you’re my hero!
