NEW YORK – November 5, 2012 – The Atlanta ladies add a little extra spice this season as “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” scorches ratings records, earning the network’s highest-rated season premiere ever among total viewers, according to Nielsen. Raking in over 3.2 million total viewers and over 2 million adults 18-49, the episode was up 11 percent among total viewers compared to the previous season four premiere. Additionally, this was the highest-rated season premiere for the series among all key demos.  Continue reading →

Jersey Shore Cast reunites for fundraiser

Jersey Shore maybe canceled as a show but the cast of the MTV reality series is getting back together one more time to help the network raise funds for victims of Hurricane Sandy.

The fundraiser will be a live one-hour special with celebrity guests including the entire Jersey Shore cast to help New Jersey relief efforts. Last Week’s Hurricane Sandy demolished Seaside Heights where the hit-MTV show was filmed and the cast is reuniting to help rebuild their summer hometown.  Continue reading →

Hurricane Sandy: Coming Together - Season 2012

NBC aired its Hurricane Sandy: Coming Together benefit telethon Friday night to raise money for victims of the natural disaster hitting most of the East Coast earlier this week.

The hour-long and commercial-free broadcast paraded a slew of celebrities donating their collaborative time for the effort. Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band, Jon Bon Jovi, Mary J. Blige, Billy Joel and Christina Aguilera were among the many who helped raise donations for American Red Cross hurricane relief efforts. Continue reading →
