Jersey Shore Cast reunites for fundraiser

Jersey Shore maybe canceled as a show but the cast of the MTV reality series is getting back together one more time to help the network raise funds for victims of Hurricane Sandy.

The fundraiser will be a live one-hour special with celebrity guests including the entire Jersey Shore cast to help New Jersey relief efforts. Last Week’s Hurricane Sandy demolished Seaside Heights where the hit-MTV show was filmed and the cast is reuniting to help rebuild their summer hometown.

MTV has partnered with Architecture for Humanity which is a non-profit organization providing design and construction services after natural disasters. Funds raised will go towards the organization’s “Restore the Shore” campaign which will use the donations to reconstruct the Seaside Heights boardwalk as well as help efforts to rebuild businesses and residents in the devastated area.

The “Restore the Shore” special will air Thursday, Nov. 15 from MTV’s Times Square Studio.
