RECAP: Big Brother Gives America The Chance To Vote An Evicted Houseguest Back In The BB House

Big Brother 13 eviction episode aired August 4, 2011. Here is a recap:
For the first time all season, a veteran walked out of the Big Brother 13 house via eviction Thursday night – but it was done at the hands of another veteran.

Brendon played Rachel’s knight in shining armor by taking her off of the chopping block and leaving himself in jeopardy. This shocking gesture made Daniele’s day because Brendon was always her target and she felt it would be easy to get him out of the BB house when sitting next to Jordan on the block.

Jordan felt safe against Brendon but jokingly said in the Diary Room that if people are going to vote her out, she would want to know in advance so she can wear her special eviction dress. She said she will be mad if she gets sent out in another outfit. Got to love this girl.

RACHEL HAS A MELTDOWN
Rachel starts having a meltdown as realization sinks in that she and Brendon, the self-named ‘most dynamic-duo’ will be broken up. Brendon did his best to console Rachel. Jeff said in the Diary Room that Rachel is a good competitor but he does not know how he will be able to deal with her head game and will pull his hair out when every fruit in the house will remind Rachel of Brendon.

KALIA AND DANIELE GET CLOSER
Kalia and Daniele keep getting closer and Kalia tells Daniele about Brendon’s use of the POV on Rachel, that “This is what we wanted.” Daniele agreed and said she is not afraid of Rachel and just needs to ensure the newbies vote out Brendon. She also tells Kalia she has to win the upcoming HOH.

BRENCHEL LOBBY FOR VOTES
Brendon and Rachel worked on the newbies to try to get enough votes for Brendon to stay. They first started with Porsche and campaigned against Jordan (“she’s won once already) and Daniele. Porsche said she would vote to keep Brendon — mainly to keep Rachel sane. Brenchel then worked on Adam and accused Daniele of not being loyal. Brendon asked Adam, “Should Rachel come after you for voting me out?”

Shelly was approached next. She told the camera that she’s been riding both sides and needs to see what is in her best interests from now on.

DANIELE TRIES TO FIND OUT HOW NEWBIES ARE VOTING
Daniele asked Adam why Rachel and Brendon are prancing around all happy, as if they have the votes for Brendon to stay. Adam said, “they’re trying to make deals, that’s all I will tell you, but I am making my own decision.”

Daniele met with Porsche and Porsche said Rachel wants her to vote for Brendon to stay. Daniele said she has Porsche’s back and Brenchel lie and would sell their first child. As she said that, Rachel walked in and asked what they were doing. AWKWARD silence. Rachel then stood up and left. Rachel told the camera that Porsche is her second best friend in the house and the thought of her hanging out with Daniele makes her uncomfortable. Later, Porsche told Rachel to stop being mopey because she’s still going to be in the house once Brendon leaves and she’s making people uncomfortable. Rachel got pissed at the sage advice and stormed off yelling that no one will help them in the house. Porsche walked off and said, “I can’t help you now girl.”

Brendon told Rachel to calm down because he is leaving her in the game to play and asked her if that was a mistake. She said yes and added that it was also a mistake to ask her to marry him. Rachel continued her self pity party of one and said she will never find a job outside of BB and Brendon tried his best to help her get to a better place (On the live feeds, Brendon was so concerned about Rachel’s meltdown, he asked for a psychiatrist to check her out-guess she passed).

EVEL DICK CRITIQUES DANIELE’S GAME PLAY
We heard the veterans saying they all wished Evel Dick Donato had stayed in the game because he would not have tried the power play that Daniele has pulled. Then we saw Evel who said he would have played the game completely differently than Daniele has and that he would never have let her play this bad a game had he been in the house. Dick, who won season 8 of BB with Daniele coming in second, said Daniele is now trying so hard to live out the shadow cast on her by Dick that she’s playing too hard, too fast. In regard to Dominic, Dick said all Daniele did was lay in a bed with him all day and “grab ass” and thought that formed an alliance but instead made Dom a bigger target. He said Daniele’s flirtations were a repeat of season 8: “Instead of NICK, it’s DomiNICK!” Dick said Daniele also pulled a “stupid move” when trying to back door Jeff last week and should have waited until week 8 to break up the couples. Dick said Daniele is not a strategic player but plays hard in competitions so she still has a chance to win without her father in the house though it will be very hard.

DANIELE SPEAKS AS HOH
Daniele told Julie Chen in private that she thinks her dad thinks she’s playing like an insane person but that’s OK since her dad is insane. She said she regrets making the move against Jeff two weeks too soon because it cost Dominic his game. Julie asked her if she could ever play with Rachel again and she said no way because Rachel thinks she has split up a marriage not a couple in the house and she takes it personally. Daniele finished by saying she expects Rachel to try to take her out of the house and kill her outside of it.

EVICTION RESULTS
Brendon was voted off and eliminated by a vote of 5-2. Brendon spent most of his time saying goodbye to Rachel before leaving and asked the houseguests not to kill each other.
Jeff voted against Brendon;
Rachel voted against Jordan;
Adam voted against Brendon;
Porsche voted against Jordan;
Lawon voted against Brendon (I forgot he was still in the house)
Shelly voted against Brendon;
Kalia voted against Brendon.

BRENDON’S EXIT INTERVIEW
Brendon held back tears and told Julie Chen that Rachel would have done the same for Brendon last year (use POV on him) and they didn’t even know each other. He said he had a better chance to stay versus Rachel had she stayed on the block and that is why he took her and not himself off of the chopping block. Brendon said Daniele is living in her father’s shadow and will last only a couple of more weeks with Rachel gunning for her.
In the goodbye video messages, Kalia was simply mean. She laughed and said she was happy to see Brendon leave. “I genuinely have no clue why you are so arrogant,” she said. “There are a lot of things easier than rocket science and apparently getting you out of this house is one of them.” I am not a fan of Kalia–sorry.
Jordan was her cute self and asked to be invited to Brenchel’s wedding and said since Jeff won the $10,000 snowball prize, Brenchel would definitely be getting a good wedding gift. Seriously, how cute is she?!

Daniele said Brendon thought splitting her from her partner was the best game play and “what goes around comes around.” She also said if his tongue wasn’t so busy with just one houseguest, he could have used the time to make deals with others.
Rachel was shown crying and said they have the rest of their lives together and that their “babies will see their love story on TV.” Brendon was quick to yell, “In five years!”
NEW BB TWIST ANNOUNCED
Julie told the houseguests that the next houseguest to get evicted has a chance to get right back in. But what she didn’t tell them is that America will vote for the first four evictees, the winner of which will go head to head against the next evictee and one of those two will get back in the house. So, it’s time for America’s Vote to decide who should get a chance to fight to get back in the house: Brendon, Cassi, Dominic, or Keith.
HEAD OF HOUSEHOLD COMPETITIONHOH Competition was called, “Checkmate” and involved the houseguests answering questions about past evicted housguests. Each person answering correctly would pick the next two houseguests to go against each other. Jordan and Kalia were randomly chosen to go first. Kalia guessed first correctly and eliminated Jordan. Kalia picked Rachel and Lawon to go next. Rachel beat out Lawon. Rachel picked Kalia and Adam to play next. Kalia beat Adam. Kalia picked Rachel and Porsche. (Obvious who Kalia is targeting, no?!). Rachel answered incorrectly and eliminated herself. Porsche picked Jeff and Shelly. Shelly rang in correctly and eliminated Jeff. Kalia and Porsche went head to head and Kalia beat out Porsche. Kalia beat out Shelly and became the Head of Household.

RECAP: Swords Are Drawn On Big Brother 8/3

Big Brother 13 Recap for episode airing August 3, 2011:

DANIELE BETRAYS HER ALLIANCE:
On Sunday’s show, Daniele broke with the veteran alliance and nominated Brendon and Rachel for eviction, telling them: “You two drew the first sword.” Daniele said her target is Brendon and she feels like Robin Hood, stealing from the rich and giving to the poor. Rachel said in the Diary Room that she may have pulled the first sword, but she is “back with Excalibur and that sword is undefeated.”

JJ AND BR DELIBERATE
Right after the nominations, Rachel and Brendon were talking in the Have Not Room and Jeff and Jordan walked in.  Rachel told them if Brenchel win POV, Daniele would put Jeff up because she wants to kick out a man. Shelly joined them and just listened in. Brendon said worst case scenario if he goes home, he and Rachel would be married forever. Rachel told Brendon if she wins POV, she can’t pull him off the chopping block but Brendon told her if he wins, he would pull her off. Tells you a lot about that relationship. She did say they are better together as a team than they are individually.

Brendon said in the Diary Room that this is really hard on him because Rachel is his best friend and they fought hard to be together for the summer. Back in the Have Not room, Brendon tried to console his depressed fiance and told her he will find a cure for cancer and he will patent it and they will make money for the rest of their lives.

Jeff and Jordan were alone and she said she was surprised by the nominations because she thought Daniele would nominate Jeff and Brendon even though JJ had made a deal with Daniele to keep Daniele safe next week if she kept them safe this week. Jeff disagreed. He also said if Brenchel win POV, it would be safer for Jordan than him to be on the block with either Rachel or Brendon because Jordan would be safe by a unanimous vote.

DANIELE TIES TO SMOOTH THINGS WITH RACHEL
Daniele apologized to Rachel and asked her not to take things personally [She did this of course to cover her hide next week.] Daniele’s lies continued: “I am not trying to hurt you.” When questioned as to why Daniele would put up the love birds, Daniele said she felt attacked when Brenchel went back on their promise to Daniele and Dominic.  Rachel said in the Diary Room that Daniele is a mean snake for turning on her alliance and said she will come after Daniele.

VETO COMPETITION
Daniele picked Jeff’s name to play. Rachel picked Adam. Brendon picked Porsche. Things looked great for Brenchel. Daniele picked Lawon for host, so, at least he is coming in useful for something in the house.

Jeff told Jordan that if he wins POV, he won’t be dumb enough to use it on Brenchel because that would mean Jordan would be nominated. He said he will tell Daniele that their deal is good but if he survives this week, he will break his word to Daniele and put her up. “Of course!” said Jordan but then they agreed about back dooring her.

The Power of Veto competition consisted of a “graveyard” of past competitions. Each contestant had to guess how long it would take them to complete each task. The person guessing the least amount of time would have to try to complete that task in less time than guessed, or they would be eliminated. Also, each person guessing the most amount of time needed would be eliminated if the person doing the task succeeded. Poor Adam had to play the game in his elf costume–though he didn’t last long enough for it to make a difference.

First task was to guess how fast they could chew gum and walk across a balance team to fill out a POV sign with the chewed up gum. Rachel’s guess of 2 minutes was the least so she had to do that task. Rachel accomplished her task, so, she was saved and Adam was eliminated.

Second task was to complete a “POV puzzle.” Rachel guessed the least again – a ridiculous guess of 38 seconds –  and Porsche the most. Rachel came close but failed and was knocked out of the competition.

Third task was to take lettered hair out of the weird statue leg and spell an 11 letter word relating to Big Brother. Daniele thought Brendon would be cocky and pick a low time, so she tried to go over him by picking what she thought would be just a tad bit longer. She misjudged. Her guess of 29 seconds was the lowest and she had to try to complete the task and failed miserably so she was eliminated.

On the fourth task, they had to wear cow costumes and transfer three gallons of milk from a milk pool into a jug. Porsche guessed the highest. Jeff wanted to win because he still did not trust Daniele and wanted to keep himself safe. Jeff missed the task by about a second, so, he was eliminated.

In the last round, they had to guess the time it would take to make a golf hole in one. Brendon’s guess of 33 seconds was less than Porsche’s by two seconds. With three seconds to spare, Brendon got a hole in won and won the POV! AH! Rachel’s hero! Daniele was upset because she will have to put up a replacement nominee and make another enemy in the house.

Brendon is smart. He told Rachel that even though he will use the POV on her, he will tell everyone he is using it on himself so Daniele is forced to change her game plan last minute.

SHELLY IS NOT TRUSTED BY DANIELE
Kalia and Daniele keep getting closer and spend a lot of time together in the HOH Roon. Shelly came into HOH room and asked Daniele who she wants to go home and she said it depends on who is saved by POV. After Shelly left, Daniele called Shelly sketchy to Kalia and said Shelly plays both sides of the house. Kalia suggested they put Jordan on the block as a pawn and Daniele said she will talk to JJ to feel them out.

DANIELE AND JJ REAFFIRM THEIR DEAL
JJ came into the HOH room and Daniele told them that she “genuinely from her heart” will do whatever it takes to keep them safe in the house. Yep, this coming from the woman who tried to backdoor Jeff last week. Daniele asked JJ to fish for info to see who Brendon is taking off of the block. JJ promised Daniele safety again for next week, a safety which we already know they plan on breaking.

BRENCHEL MEETS WITH DANIELE
JJ asked Brendon if he will use POV on himself and he lied to them and said he would because Rachel is not Daniele’s target. Rachel and Brendon met with Daniele and he told her that he will use the POV on himself because he can get further in the game than Rachel can. He also asked Daniele if she at all intends on working with them moving forward. Brendon said he would be willing to have a clean slate with her if Daniele nominates someone who would be sure to be sent home next week instead of Rachel. Brendon said he guarantees he will win HOH next week and told her the three of them have the opportunity to change the game if they could just trust each other and work together form this moment forward. Daniele said she would think about it.

VETO CEREMONY
Brendon had told everyone that he would take himself off of the block. He asked Rachel to give him a reason to use the POV on her and Rachel said I want you to use it on yourself. Brendon of course used it on Rachel and everyone looked dumbfounded. With Rachel now off of the block, Daniele picked Jordan as a replacement nominee, saying she does not want to make any more enemies. Rachel looked sad. Jordan looked sweet. Daniele looked pissed even though Brendon was her target.

Jordan said she hopes she’s safe even though “pawns normally go home sometimes.” Rachel felt like a fairy tale princess who got saved by a knight in shining armor from the evil witch living in the HOH room.

So, that’s it. come back tomorrow to see who was evicted from the big brother house and to see why and for how long Evel Dick returns to the BB house! Yes, Evel Dick is coming back.

Big Brother 7/27: Who Won POV?

A full recap of Big Brother 13 episode airing July 27, 2011 can be found here, but for now, please keep reading if you want spoilers from the live feed on who won the Power of Veto and what is going on between the alliances.

POWER OF VETO COMPETITION

Adam and Dominic are on the block for eviction. But Brendon won POV in a spelling competition and Brendon used the same word he used last year in the same competition. DUH!

As the week progressed, Rachel, Brendon, Jordan and Jeff caught on to Daniele’s secret plan to drive a wedge between the veteran oldies group by aligning with Dominic, Kalia and Lawon.

Dani keeps trying to get Rachel to backdoor Jeff as HOH. All of this makes the veterans bond even stronger together and plan on getting rid of Dom this week so Dani can’t keep using him to do his dirty work. Too bad they can’t backdoor Dani since she has the Golden Key. This is Big Brother, so, anything is likely to happen or change and Dom may be saved. But for now, Dom is the target for eviction this week.

Big Brother 7/17 Recap: Who Was Nominated For Eviction?

Big Brother 13 episode # 4 aired Sunday, July 17, 2011. Jordan won H.O.H. last week and had to put two houseguests up for eviction nomination tonight.

WHO SWITCHED IN NEWBIE CAMP?
Sunday’s show starts with dumbfounded newbies who were confused and concerned that Keith, not Porsche, was voted out despite their apparent agreement otherwise.

As we remember from Thursday’s episode, Kalia and Shelly went against their newbie alliance and voted against Keith, giving the oldies the votes they needed to accomplish their goal of getting rid of a strong newbie. Dominic and Adam were trying to figure out who lied about their votes. The oldies just assumed Kalia and Adam voted their way.

Kalia told the camera that she voted against Keith because he called her out in front of the newbies as a friend of the oldies alliance.

Shelly said in the diary room that the best thing about voting with the oldies alliance is that none of the newbies or oldies knew she did it.

Adam realized the newbies are not united and feels like he can’t trust anyone. Lawon felt completely blindsided by the betrayal and said in the diary room that he felt “furious like a volcano in Hawaii about to erupt.”

Leave it to Rachel to say it like it is in the diary room: “We were in such a tough spot, but we were still able to pull together house majority. If the newbies band together, they could have evicted Porsche this week and we’d be in a really tough spot. So, I am thanking all my lucky stars that these newbies are idiots.”

Eventually and after much discussion, everyone thought Adam was one of the newbies who turned on the newbies. Based on this wrong assumption, Dominic told Cassi that Adam is dead to him and that he wants to shake things up and possibly get Daniele to their side.

ADAM FESSES UP
Keith’s eviction made Adam realize that he is on a weaker alliance that he can’t trust. So, he went to Jeff and Jordan and admitted he voted to evict Porsche. He told them the alliance he thought he had with the newbies is not there and told Jeff that the oldies know how to play the game better than the newbies do, so, he wants to join their side. You know, for real this time. He also said if he gets the Golden Key, he will owe them a lot. Seriously, can he be trusted at this point when he is so desperate to be on a winning side?

DOMINIC WORKS DANIEL
Dominic starts flirting with Daniele because he says that’s the only way to get through to her. And his strategy is working. Daniele told him she will try to get the oldies to vote Adam out instead of him. She told Jeff and Jordan that Dom could be easily manipulated and they should get rid of Cassi instead.

CASSI AND RACHEL BUTT HEADS
It didn’t take Rachel long to find a new nemesis in the house even though she and Brendon decided to play nice this season. Things went south when Cassi told Rachel she did not like Porsche and Rachel told her “some of us like Porsche and she’s here for another month,” before walking out on her. Rachel says Cassi gets on her nerves and told Jeff and Jordan that Cassi is after them.

HAVE AND HAVE NOT COMPETITION
Houseguests had to suit up as “super” ants –each duo packed into one ant suit–and go to a picnic with giant-sized food. The first group to collect four food crumbs by crawling through slimy ketchup and baked beans would win the competition. Brendon and Rachel won the competition by using the strategy of having Brendon on Rachel’s back–a position she said she usually enjoys. TMI.

When the competition finished, Kalia seemed injured and could not move at all. She was crying in agony and no one knew why. BB medics came to the rescue and cut Lawon out of the suit, leaving Kalia better all of the sudden. She was cleared by the medics and said most of the pain was fear. Shelly said to the camera, “It was drama, save it for your mama…but not this mama.”

AMERICA’S VOTE
America picked beef jerky and jelly beans as the “treat” that the have nots could have for the week. Everyone was upset but Adam who loves beef jerky.

DOMINIC MEETS WITH JEFF AND JORDAN
Dominic told Jeff and Jordan that his back is against the wall and he wants to play with them now. Jeff said, “you have to climb the ladder before you get to the roof….we have to be able to trust you…and listen, you have to vote our way….or go home.”

CASSI MEETS WITH JEFF AND JORDAN
Cassi told them she wants her and Shelly to stay in this game as long as possible and will have no problem putting up other newbies.

EVICTION NOMINATION

Jordan put Adam and Dominic on the block with Dominic as the target. She tells the camera that her alliance wanted her to go another way but she does not know where these two guys’ heads are at, so, she went with her gut. She told the duo after nominations that she feels that if either of them were HOH, they would come after her. Adam says in the diary room that Jordan has told him she has his back and if she is lying to him, he will lose faith in society. He’s so dramatic!

P.O.V. RESULTS – WARNING: DO NOT CONTINUE READING IF YOU DON’T WANT TO SPOIL WATCHING RESULTS AS THEY ARE AIRED ON CBS WEDNESDAY
But during the POV, Adam and Dom won and of course, they will probably use it. The oldies at this moment plan to put Cassi and Shelly with Cassi as the target.  But who knows–this is Big Brother when anything and everything changes by the minute.

Big Brother Eviction 7/14 Recap

Big Brother aired Thursday July 14. Below is a show recap:

OLDIES PLAY NICE
The oldies realized with Evel Dick out of the game, they were one more man down and needed to up their social game.

Brendon and Rachel played the big bootie game with the newbies. And Jeff said he will have to “whore” himself out and play nice as well. Rachel brought out “Vegas Rachel” to have fun with the houseguests. But Dominic was on to their strategy.

BRENDON AND RACHEL HAVE A TIFF OF A FIGHT
We find out “Boookieee” is Brendon and Rachel’s pet name for each other and Brendon is not happy about others knowing about it. He also did not want Rachel to play party girl because she is almost his wife. Brendon tells Rachel in private that he loves her with all his heart but feels that being called Bookie in front of everyone makes their relationship look like a joke. He slept on the couch as the two seemed a bit drifted.

The next day, Brendon tells Rachel he is trying to be a medical professional and feels emasculated by Rachel’s antics in front of people. They kissed and made up.

OLDIES AND ADAM
Jeff thinks Adam is a huge BB fan. So, in order to woo him more to the oldies’ side, he comes up with the idea of letting Adam pick the name for the oldies’ alliance. Brilliant Jeff! Adam came up with “Adam’s Angels.” I doubt that name will stick for two reasons: The name sucks. And Adam did not vote with the oldies in the eviction. Read more!

MESSAGE FROM EVEL DICK
Evel Dick sent a video message to the BB houseguests. He said he would never have left if it were not a personal emergency. He also apologized to his daughter Daniele for not being able to spend the summer with her, especially since the two seem to get along best inside that house per him. He told the rest of the house to play well and challenged them to fight hard.  Daniele was asked to give her dad a message and all she said is, “hanging in there!”

Julie Chen asked Daniele, “No I love you?” to which Daniele responded, “That is so awkward. Of course I love my father, he is my biological father.” Fast forward to voting who to evict, Daniel rushed this out before she voted to evict Keith: “I just want to say I do love my father and I have done nothing but worry about him every day since he left.” Nice save Daniele.

Here is a full summary of Dick’s message as to why he left the BB house.

EVICTIONS
Both Porsche and Keith thought they were safe before the vote. In her plea for safety, Porsche kissed some major oldie ass. Here is who each houseguest voted to evict:

KEITH = Brendon, Jordan, Jeff, Daniele, Kalia, Shelly (Kalia and Shelly crossed lines)
PORSCHE = Dominic, Cassi, Lawon, Adam (The Regulators stuck together and Adam did not vote with Oldies)
Julie Chen announces that Keith is evicted by a vote of 6-4 and that Porsche gets a Golden Key. Keith took the shocking eviction rather well.

KEITH’S GOODBYE EXIT INTERVIEW
Keith said he is very shocked that he is evicted and that people went back on their word. He said he wished he played the game a bit different. Julie interjected that he is one of the few people in BB history to be on the block and throw the veto competition. He was at a loss for words except to admit that he got played.
Keith said he is an emotional guy and did not want to fall for the hot Porsche, so, he played with his head. HUH? Then why did he pick her as a team mate? In their goodbye interviews, Cassi told him he came here to play the dating game. Lawon said Keith was a ticking time bomb which exploded. Rachel said he underestimated the power of hurricane Brachel. She then showed him a t shirt she was wearing which read, “You can look, but you can’t touch.”
HOH COMPETITION
The houseguests play the Big Brother Open – a miniature golf game. The player who is closest to hole #1 would win the game. Rachel as existing HOH picked the order of the players and she picked Dominic to go first and he got a 6. Adam got an 8 and was eliminated. Cassi’s ball went in the water and she was eliminated. Shelly’s ball also went in the water and she got eliminated. Lawon did the same and was eliminated. Kalia got a 6 and tied with Dominic. Jordan got a 3 and eliminated Dominic and Kalia. Jeff threw the competition and got eliminated. Brendon also threw the competition, leaving Jordan as the HOH! Jordan later thanks Jeff and Brendon in front of everyone for letting her win like Jeff did last season.
FAN/VIEWER QUESTIONS
Shelly was asked how hard is it to be away from her daughter and she said she sleeps with her daughter’s “puppy.”
Adam was asked who his favorite 90210 (the original series) is and he went into a frenzy and started yelling, “Donna Martin graduates, Donna Martin graduates. DONNA MARTIN GRADUATEEEEEES.” Someone remind me, how old is this guy?

Big Brother 7/13 Recap: Who WON Power Of Veto?

Big Brother 13 episode # 3 aired on July 11, 2011. Below is a summary recap of the show and who won the Power of Veto.

Live blogging of important events is taking place now and a full recap of the show and why Evel Dick Donato left the show, will be posted later tonight.

NOMINATIONS
Of course we know that Rachel had nominated Porsche and Keith for eviction. We find out that the selection was Dick’s idea. We also find out Keith is Rachel’s real target because she thinks Porschewill vote her way.

Keith feels safe in the house because he believes The Regulators will help save him. Keith wants to throw the POV competition so he can stay on the block, be saved, and get the Golden Key. Porche on the other hand does not get the fact that if she throws the competition and stays on the block the oldies will keep her and she gets the Golden Key.

EVEL DICK LEAVES SHOW
This is how Evel Dick Donato left the show: Dick got called to the Diary Room but never came out. After he was gone for two hours, the houseguests got worried. Rachel then got called to the Diary Room and the house is still Dick-less!

Rachel comes out and reads an announcement to the houseguests: Dick had to leave for urgent personal matters, and as a result, Daniele gets a Golden Key–meaning she is safe for four weeks but she will not be able to participate in any competitions.

Daniel got emotional about her father’s absence and was worried about his well being. She tells Rachel and Brendon that her dad lives for BB and for him not to be there, it must be a big deal. She’s also sad that she has to sit on the sidelines and not play in any competition.

Brendon did not take the news well either and and was angry that his team was now one more man down. The other oldies were trying to calm him down in Rachel’s HOH room so the other houseguests wouldn’t hear him and realize (as if they hadn’t already) that the oldies are in an alliance. Jordon expressed her fears for being disadvantaged now but Jeff told the oldies team to stop bitching and crying and play the game and win the competitions.

Daniel later realized how beneficial the Golden Key is. She figured she can build personal relationships with the newbies during the four weeks of guaranteed safety.

KEITH ANGERS NEWBIES
Keith started making waves for himself by verbalizing his joy that Dick was gone. Shelly tells the camera that no one should publicly make fun of an obvious emergency situation for Dick. Keith then calls a newbie meeting and rats out Porsche and Kalia as being too chummy with the oldies and accused them of playing with the oldies. Lawon called Keith a “ticking time bomb” to the camera and said he is about to explode. Dominic started to question Keith’s stability.

POWER OF VETO:
Keith told the camera he will throw the competition because he feels safe. Rachel pulled Jeff and Jordan’s names out of players lottery bag and so she and Brendon along with Jeff and Jordan and Porsche and Keith compete for the POV. Rachel chose Adam as the MC.

Before the competition, the oldies talked to Porsche to make sure she was still on board to throw the competition and she said yes, “it’s more fun that way.”

Jordan was terrible in the puzzle making competition and it was funny to watch both Keith and Porsche throwing the competition yet doing better than Jordan.

Rachel wins POV. Rachel and Brendon meet with Adam and Dominic and tell them “we won’t put you up this week, we ask that you don’t put us up next week.” They then met with Kalia and Lawon and told them the same thing. And then they met with Shelly and Cassi. Cassi was the only person who stood up to the duo and asked questions of Brendon and Rachel. She told them their strength scares them. After all of this, Rachel decides to leave the votes as is, meaning Keith and Porsche remain on the block.

Big Brother Nominations 7/10 Recap

Big Brother 13 week two episode on July 11, 2011 started with the oldies/Dynamic Duos (or the Allstars as they like to call themselves) conspiring against the 8 newbie houseguests. Most of us know by now that Evel Dick Donato has left the show, but, he was still present when this nominations episode was taped and aired.

We hear Rachel Reilly and Brendon Villegas talking about the effect of the new Golden Key on the game which allows the holders of the key to float through the first four weeks of the game with no eviction, no competition, and no slop. Rachel says this is a whole new game than what she is used to. Brendon says the new game favors floaters and he and Rachel still hate floaters. Rachel gives floaters an official name, “Golden Ticket Holders.”

Before he leaves the Big Brother house, Dick tells the oldies that the newbies are like the three stooges and will go down like they are on a shooting range, one after another. To achieve his domination plan over the newbies, Dick suggests they bring two newbies on their side to out number the newbies. Daniele suggests that they can offer the people safety in exchange for later loyalty.

Meanwhile, Dominic Briones, Keith Henderson, Cassie Colvin and Lawon Exum have formed an inner alliance against their own partners and agreed to keep each other in the game until the final four. They name themselves “The Regulators.”

Dick sees Porche Briggs as a strong competitor and easy to manipulate over time so he asks her to join them and she agrees. Porche tells Keith of her agreement and gets his apparent OK but Keith runs to Dominic and spills Porche’s beans. Dominic tells Keith to pretend to go along with Porche.

Dick also tells Adam Poch that he would like to have a chat with him. Adam meets Dick and the other oldies in Rachel’s HOH bedroom and is told that if he gets nominated, they would pool their votes to give him the Golden Key and send his partner Dominic home. In return, they ask Adam to throw competitions for them and pool his vote with the old timers. Dick gets a bit cocky here and makes Adam feel that he should see this offer to team up with the Allstars as an honor. “It’s an offer you can’t refuse,” Dick tells Adam. Adam agrees in person but when in diary room, he tells the camera that Dick is a pupet master and all Adam can think about is getting Dick out of the house.

The ‘Have and Have Not’ competition was held and three teams were formed with four people in each team.  Brendon and Rachel are automatic Haves this week since they are the Head of Household. One of these three teams would be declared a loser and would have to sleep in an uncomfortable bedroom for a week which looks like an insane asylum with padded walls. Shelly Moore says the room looks like a looney bin. The losers will have to have the room’s lights on all the time and eat BB Slop for a week. Oh ya, and they can only take cold showers for the week.

The theme of the competition was moon craters. The players had to dive into a crater of milk and then head to the lunar landing to get their teammates to squeeze out enough milk to fill 6 huge jugs. The last team to complete the quest would be the ‘Have Nots’ for the week.

The blue team finished first which consisted of Dick, Daniele, Jeff and JordanThe green team finished second which consisted of Keith, Porsche, Adam and Dominic. The orange team finished last which were Cassie, Shelly, Kalia and Lawon.

Here are the ‘Have Nots’ for the week:

Rachel then calls everyone in for the Nomination Ceremony. Brendon is already safe as Rachel’s partner. Daniele and Dick are the first to be declared safe this week. Danielle and Dick pull Jordan and Jeff’s keys. Jordan and Jeff pull Lawon and Kalia’s keys. Lawon and Kalia pull Cassie and Shelly’s keys. Shelly and Cassie pull Adam and Dominic’s keys.

Keith and Porsche are nominated for eviction, leaving Porsche shocked for having been put up this week. Keith knows the Regulators will support him and feels safe. In the Diary Room Rachel says that she wants Keith to be evicted and to give Porsche the Golden Key so she will vote with them each week.
