Charlie Sheen on Gun Control: ‘We’re Not Supposed to Bury Our Children’

Charlie Sheen used to be a weapons enthusiast and a gun collector. But the Anger Management actor has had a change of heart. In an interview with CNN’s Piers Morgan last night,  Sheen said he favors stricter gun laws “Because we’re not supposed to bury our children.”

It seems that the shooting in Newtown, Conn. has had a significant effect on the actor. He said, “If anybody from the NRA wants to look any of those parents in the eyes from that school and tell them that guns are still necessary, then I urge them to, and see how that goes.”

Ke$ha Tries to Explain ‘Die Young’ Lyrics Yet Again

When Ke$ha first came under fire for her song Die Young after the horrific Connecticut shooting in Newtown last week., she claimed that she was ‘forced’ to sing the now-offensive song–a song she had co-written.

Ke$ha: “I Was Forced To Sing ‘Die Young'”

Kesha on the Today ShowKe$ha is in some hot water for the lyrics of her hit song, Die Young. But the singer is now denying blame because she claims she was forced to sing the song that glorifies dying young.

Per TMZ, Ke$ha’s song has been pulled off of a lot of radio playlists since the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting.

Ke$ha who is listed as one of the writers of the song defended herself against some angry Tweeters by responding “i understand. I had my very own issue with ‘die young’ for this reason. I did NOT want to sing those lyrics and I was FORCED TO.” Continue reading

OneRepublic Launches Fundraising Campaign for Newtown Victims’ Families [VIDEO]

OneRepublic is taking immediate action to lend a helping hand to the families of Sandy Hook’s victims.

Ryan Tedder and crew started a fundraising campaign this weekend for the benefit of the families who lost loved ones in Friday’s senseless and heartbreaking shooting in Newtown, Connecticut. The campaign will provide funds for funeral services and help alleviate some of the financial burdens placed on the affected families. Continue reading
