-8:03 PM –they’re airing replays from last night’s performances
-8:07 PM we see a crying CeCe Frey backstage after the judges were critical of her performance being comforted by Tate Stevens who tells her he will be her friend
-8:10 The Top 12 enter the stage and we have results!! Our first elimination! Of course, they’re making us wait for a commercial.
-8:14 PM – The first result of the night is in! Lyric145 is eliminated off of The X Factor USA for having the lowest votes of the night. One elimination down, one more to go!
-8:20 PM Taylor Swift takes the stage to perform State of Grace
-8:26 PM – commercial break
-8:30 PM – More results. See below for all details! After most results, we have Paige Thomas, Fifth Harmony and Jennel Garcia left – one of whom will be going home tonight!
-8:38 PM Fifth Harmony is safe. Paige Thomas and Jennel Garcia– both from Demi’s team are in bottom 2!

BOTTOM ARTISTS AND SINGING FOR THEIR LIVES:
Paige Thomas and Jennel Garcia are in the bottom two and will have to have a sing off to save themselves. Simon says he feels bad for Demi for having two acts in bottom 2–but he smirks saying it.
–Jennel sings “The Reason” by Hoobastank as her save me song.
–Paige Thomas sings Paradise by Coldplay. I think she’s kicking Jennel’s butt- what do you think?
–LA says he is shocked either girl is in bottom 2 but decides to send Jennel Garcia home. Britney also sends Jennel home even though she says they are both “amazing” and sing with heart. Simon asked twice to hear from Demi first before he votes. Mario Lopez fought back and kept asking for Simon’s vote. Simon insisted that he wont vote until he hears from Demi. “You’re the boss, we’ll go to Demi,” finally conceded Mario. Demi then tried to bounce it back to Simon because it was his turn to cast a vote. Mario said, “Demi, these are people’s lives, we need your vote”. Demi took the easy road and said she’s gonna send home Paige Thomas. Simon then said the act who has the best star potential is easy for Simon to pick. So he chose to send home Jennel.
WHO IS ELIMINATED OFF OF THE X FACTOR TONIGHT?
Lyric145 is the first act to be eliminated tonight. One more act will be eliminated before we are done tonight! Jennel Garcia is also eliminated by a 3-1 vote by the judges. Demi was the only one who voted to save her (See immediately above for the drama between Demi, Simon and Mario!)
ORDER OF VOTES/SCOREBOARD LEADERS: Only 3% of the votes separate the top 4 acts and ONLY 1/3 of 1% separate first and second place acts:
1st place: Tate Stevens – Same spot as last week

Not totally surprised…Lyric 145 was good…but not that good. Now CeCe needs to go bye-bye!
cece better be next seriously she needs to be sent packing. im very suprised lyric 145got booted there were others who sucked far worse and they did decent.
Well, the ol’ man decided to move the satellite today (moving from the RV into the house), AFTER I told him not to – so instead of WATCHING the show, I’m stuck reading about it. Lucky for me someone posts live results as they happen.
I hope CeCe goes… thought Arin should have gone, but not Lyric tonight. Lyric would have been my choice to go next week.

No kidding!! He figured he could set it up. I reminded him he couldn’t do it last time. Nope, have to be stubborn. Live blogging rocks. Can’t believe Paige and Jennel are in the bottom two. Never would have expected that.

Demi has ruined it for these girls…big mistake to take her on as a mentor
I’ve got to say that I’m really surprised that Jennel got sent home and that CeCe got more votes. CeCe was absolutely horrible with that Celine Dion song this week and to my surprise she even went up in the ranking! I have a feeling that people are voting for the sob stories and not for the actual talent. You just never know with The X Factor so I’ve got my Hopper from DISH recording the show each week. It’s four times more recording space than all the other DVRs out there which means I don’t have to rush to watch everything I’ve recorded. I feel bad for Demi since Simon decided to put her in the hot seat when it was time to choose who would go home. I know she didn’t want to send either home and that’s why she was so reluctant to speak up. My DISH co-worker thinks that Simon’s spitefulness is going too far and I agree but this man thinks he knows everything. I wouldn’t have been able to choose either.
