The X Factor USA aired its fourth live performance show of the second season tonight November 21, 2012. The top 10 finalists sang songs giving thanks to someone or something which inspires them. After 911, he tried to join the military but was not allowed because of his tattoos.

Judges’ comments: The judges give him a standing ovation. What a brilliant patriotic song choice during this Holiday. Britney said it was the first performance for him that was spot on. “It was amazing.” Demi said she’s been hard on him for weeks because she just didn’t see anything in him and thinks she must be missing something about him since he keeps coming in at number 3. But she really got it tonight and thinks America will really love him tonight. Simon said you can’t judge a book by its cover: Says Vino has a hard exterior but has a soft heart inside. Simon thinks this song is beautiful anyway and Vino may be #1 in tomorrow’s results. LA says he is the truth and LA is proud of him for standing up for the troops.
