The video’s lack of bells and whistles places the entire focus on Pia’s power vocals and lyrics – and she delivers.

It’s A Sad Day! ‘Dirty Dancing’ Remake In The Works

Sadly, the remake was bound to happen. First came Fame. Then we got Footloose. And now, we have to face the fact that the previously untouchable Dirty Dancing will be made anew. Lionsgate Films has confirmed that it is moving forward with a remake of our sacred Patrick Swayze-Jennifer Grey iconic film.

Lionsgate has tasked High School Musical director Kenny Ortega with the project because he was the choreographer for the 1987 original and also directed a pair of episodes of the short-lived Dirty Dancing TV series in the 80’s.
“The opportunity to direct Dirty Dancing is like returning home for me,” Ortega told Variety. “Growing up in the ’60s on the dance floor helped define me as a person and as an artist.”

The remake will include the classic songs from the original: (I’ve Had) The Time of My Life, She’s Like the Wind and Hungry Eyes and it will also incorporate tunes from the ’60s and some new compositions.

Selena Gomez: “Lighten Up Media, I’m Only 19!”

Selena Gomez shows off her peachy pout in the September 2011 Glamour magazine which has lady Rihanna on the cover.

In the interview, Selena reminds us that she is only 19 years old and asks the media to take it easy on her, especially when it comes to dating an even more famous teen, Justin Bieber. “I feel like everything that I’m doing right now should not be taken too seriously,” Selena told the mag. “I should be able to have fun and enjoy where I’m at! So I don’t want to spend my time hiding or worrying about all of that.”

On living with the rejection of showbiz:
“When I was 11 years old, I had a grown woman who was a casting director tell me I was not strong enough to carry the lead in any project. Now I’m doing things that I love, and I’m working really hard. I never want to play the victim or anything, but of course everybody deals with it.”

Ashley Hebert & JP Rosenbaum Take On New York!

The Bachelorette star Ashley Hebert and her fiance, J.P. Rosenbaum, can now flaunt their new romance publicly, and they seem to be having the time of heir life, last seen in NYC this weekend.

The couple went to downtown hotspot Beauty and Essex for dinner on Friday. Ashley Tweeted: “Had the most delicious meal at Beauty and Essex last night!!! Soooooo good! Loving NYC so far!”  Saturday morning, Ashley and her beau enjoyed breakfast at Coffee Shop in Union Square before walking around town with their friends.

Latert, JP threw an [engagement?] party so his friends could meet his new fiance. About 40 people met up at Casa La Femme. There was some belly dancing after dinner.

The above pic? Ashley sent that via Twitter with the caption: “My favorite cupcakes. 🙂 Thanks @cakebossbuddy !” She also Tweeted: “@cakebossbuddy thank you so much!!!!!!! The cupcakes are amazing!!!!! Make our wedding cake????”

VIDEO: Idol Champ Scotty McCreery Premieres Video For ‘I Love You This Big’

American Idol winner Scotty McCreery Tweeted a huge announcement yesterday: “The Love You This Big video will premiere on CMT August 9th. Y’all be sure to tune in.”

The video was shot in Los Angeles but has the look and feel of a small town. McCreery has said, “If you looked one way, you could see Dodger Stadium, and if you looked another way, you could see downtown L.A. If I hadn’t told you that, you would think we would have shot that in North Carolina.”

The video is “a summertime barbecue, kinda like a community thing on the Fourth of July,” McCreery recently told Access Hollywood. 

Besides earning the highest-charting debut single in country music in over two decades, the current Idol reigning champ is hard at work on his new album and still out on the road touring with his Idol buddies. You can watch best buddy Lauren Alaina‘s video premiere for Like My Mother Does here.

Gavin DeGraw Attacked And Hospitalized

Singer Gavin DeGraw is currently hospitalized and recovering from a violent attack by multiple people late Sunday night in New York City.

The I Don’t Wanna Be singer suffered a broken nose and several cuts to his face.

Per TMZ, the incident happened around 4:30AM ET in Manhattan. DeGraw was apparently out with friends when he was attacked by a “pack of thugs” on the street and then hit by a taxi as he tried to get away. The reason for the attack is still unknown, although police have already ruled out a robbery.

“Gavin DeGraw was assaulted … and was taken to the emergency room at Bellevue Hospital by ambulance. He is currently under observation,” his rep confirmed. “We have no additional information at this time.”

DeGraw is scheduled to perform Tuesday night in Saratoga Springs, NY with Maroon 5 and Train.

Bachelor Pad 2 premiered with a bang Monday August 8, 2011 and below is a full recap of the three-hour episode. Read below to see which of the contestants were eliminated and which advanced for another chance at the $250K prize.

CONTESTANT INTRODUCTIONS:
1. GIA ALLEMAND – The Bachelor Season 14, Jake Pavelka. Gia was on Bachelor Pad 1 and hooked up with Wes but he cheated on her with Vienna Girardi. Vienna and Gia never got along even before this and Gia and Jake are now good friends so, their interactions should be really interesting.

2. HOLLY DURST – The Bachelor Season 12, Matt Grant
Holly just came out of a broken engagement to Michael Stagliano, the love of her life, and as luck would have it for us viewers, Michael is also on the show. She broke off her engagement when she panicked about the thought of getting married. The couple later reunited but then Michael broke things off  because he could not get over Holly’s original breakup. Holly says she broke Micheal’s heart and her own.

3. VIENNA GIRARDI (The Bachelor Season 14 “Winner”, Jake Pavelka)

Things got worse when Vienna allegedly had an affair with Wes, Gia’s ex. Vienna says she is competitive and awesome. She also says winning the Bachelor was a lose-lose because the prize [Jake Pavelka] sucked. Ouch.

She doesn’t want to find a job which is just fine since her astrologer thinks she will win BP2. She plans on using her sex appeal on the guys and even kiss girls to win. She said she doesn’t have strict morals, so, she will do just about anything.

2. KIRK DEWINDT (The Bachelorette Season 6, Ali Fedotowski)
Kirk made it to a hometown date with Ali until his dad, a taxidermist, gave Ali a tour of his basement to show off his work and may have scared her and half of the viewers off.

3. KASEY KAHL (The Bachelorette Season 6, Ali Fedotowski)
Kasey was best known as “tattoo” and “guard and protect” guy until he started dating Vienna. See a picture of his Tatoo here. He is head over heels in love with Vienna and sometimes feels he loves her more than she loves him. Kasey has put on 30 pounds of solid muscle and wants to punch Jake, except he says he will instead take a “Jake and rub his Pavelka.”

4. JAKE PAVELKA (The Bachelor Season 14)
Need we say anything about Jake? He returns to the scene of his ugly break up with Vienna and things should be interesting here with Vienna, Gia and Kasey all in the same house. Jake says he loved Vienna and wanted to come to the show to find closure with her. He feels he has a target on his back and does not feel confident at all.

5. JUSTIN “RATED-R” REGO (The Bachelorette Season 6, Ali Fedotowski)
Remember this guy? Justin did not man up when Ali confronted him about his voice messages to his girlfriend back home and he instead walked off the show. He said the “R” in his name now just stands for revenge and he will gun for any guy on BP2 from his season; AKA, Kasey.

6. MICHAEL STAGLIANO (The Bachelorette Season 5, Jillian Harris)
OH OH! Michael and fellow Bachelor Pad housemate Holly Durst are still fresh off of an engagement call off. He says their engagement breakup changed his outlook on love and it was the worst day of his life when it happened. He says the breakup was too big a hurt to bounce back from. He also says he loved Holly like a husband loves a wife.

LIMOUSINE ARRIVALS
When Holly met Blake, fireworks flew. He complimented her legs and she wished Michael was not going to be in the house so she could flirt back with Blake. Justin admitted he had a girlfriend when he was on The Bachelorete by answering that question with, “so what?” Erica walked in with her Tiara and Blake called her thick. 
Vienna arrived to the scene of her ugly public breakup and was already emotional because she did not want Jake to be there. Lucky for Vienna, she got there before him and made everyone there get on her side first. Gia came out of the limo and told Chris Harrison that she hopes Vienna is not in the house because she hooked up with her ex, Wes. When Gia saw Vienna, she simply said, “hello,” and moved on to the next person. Gia told Vienna not to be mean to Jake if he shows up and told the rest of the cast that Jake is a good guy with a big heart. 
When Kasey arrived at the house, he hugged Vienna and Justin made a barf gesture behind their back. He later told the camera that Kasey was his archnemesis on The Bachelorette and still is and that he wants Vienna and Kasey gone. He said Kasey sounds like a frog and Kermit goes out with Miss Piggy. If you watched Ali Fedotowsky’s season, you know Ali had a two on one date with Justin and Kasey and sent Kasey home on the date. Actually, she didn’t just send Kasey home; she left him standing alone atop a glacier in Iceland as she and Justin flew away together. Ouch.
Michael walked in and hugged Holly. They handled it well at first, but things got awkward when Michael said Blake looked cool, not knowing Holly has already formed a crush on him.
Jake was the last person to walk out of a limo and told Chris Harrison he is here to get closure with Vienna. Jake walked in the house and was happy to see his good friend Gia there. Kasey introduced himself and Jake said, “Oh hi, I know who you are, terrific.” Jake later went outside and got a chilled greeting from Vienna, Kasey and her friends. They all talk about the weather.
Jake told Gia that Vienna will always have a place in his heart but her cold reaction to him tonight showed him that he still affects her. Gia told Jake that he needs to be the bigger man and talk to Kasey and congratulate him on being with Vienna to avoid a fight if Kasey drinks. Jake told the camera he is afraid for his safety so he needed to talk to Kasey.
Jake pulled Kasey aside and told him it’s awesome that he and Vienna make each other happy and he does not want to stand in their way. He said he is no longer in love with Vienna but always will care for her. Kasey said he understands there are two sides to every story, but his problem is that Vienna shakes whenever Jake is around. Kasey said it doesn’t matter whether or not what Vienna told him is true; it only matters that she told him mean things about Jake and he just wants to protect Vienna.
FIRST GAME CHALLENGE
Chris Harrison set out the rules: That each week, the men vote out one women and the women vote out one man. He asked everyone to pair up for the first challenge. Obviously, Kasey and Vienna are a team, so they will play together. Holly and Michael teamed up. Alli paired up with Graham. Melissa and Blake teamed up. Kirk had a few too many drinks and paired up with Erica. Ames and Jackie decided not to partner up because they liked each other and didn’t want to be a target since they were coupling up. So, Ames decided to partner with Michelle and Jackie partnered with Jake. Jake and Gia are good friends but they also did not partner up to avoid being targets. Gia partnered with William. Poor Ella ended up with Justin.
The first challenge was a sex challenge called The Hookup. The men were raised in a harness and the women had to hold and straddle unto to their male partners. The couple who held on the longest would win immunity and a date. William gave up and was first to drop his girl, Gia at the 10 minute mark. Gia was surprised he could not hold on to her when she is so tiny. Holly was next to drop because she said she would rather be drinking. Jackie and Melissa were next to go. Erica fell next, followed by Michelle. Ella fell after saying this challenge hurt more than giving birth, leaving just Kasey and Vienna and Jake and Jackie fighting for the win. Jake’s right leg was purple from lack of blood circulation and he was about to vomit, looking for a place to upchuck without hitting Jackie. Yet he still held on. We heard Jake saying to the camera that every time he was about to drop Jackie, he pictured himself over a cliff and thought if he dropped her, she would drop 3,000 feet to her death so he kept holding on to her for rescue to arrive. We had previously heard those words on the Bachelor Pad 2 trailer and lead to believe that Jake had said those words, intending on a painful death on Vienna. Now we know that it was just clever editing instead.
Kasey’s back started hurting and and he felt numb, so, he dropped Vienna. Jake and Jackie won which was good because otherwise, Jake may have had to have his leg amputated if he had held on any longer.

KASEY AND VIENNA FIGHT
Vienna was pissed that Kasey dropped her and the two sat speechless in a hot tub after the loss. “Kinda was expecting more from you,” Vienna said after a long silence between the two. She followed that dagger with, “You made me a promise that you would never ever ever ever let go. Ever.” Kasey said he had felt numb in his pelvic region before dropping Vienna and asked her to not rub the loss in his face. She hit back with “We made a promise we wouldn’t fight on camera.” The next morning, their fight continued and Kasey blamed Vienna for flirting with other guys. They eventually made up somehow.


ALLIANCES FORM
Jake and Jackie learned that not only are they immune from being kicked out of the show this week, but they have a third rose to give to the person of their choice to keep him/her safe. While they went on their date, Kasey and Vienna made a final four alliance with Graham and Michelle and Kasey asked them to get more people so they have more people on their side and have a majority vote on both the men and women side. They got Michael, Kirk and Justin to join the male pack. Why they would trust Justin is beyone me because immediately after agreeing to be in their pack, he told the camera that he can switch sides. He went and told the people not on their side the whole story. Alli went back to the Kasey/Vienna alliance and sold out Justin and told them what Justin just did.
JAKE AND JACKIE GET FIRST DATE
Jackie and Jake went on their date to Hollywood Boulevard, leaving a bummed Ames behind. Jake and Jackie’s names were lit up in lights at El Capitan theater and the two had dinner on the theater balcony. Over dinner, Jake opened up and told Jackie about his relationship and breakup with Vienna. Jake said his heart was broken and still wished he could get back with Vienna even after he claims she broke up with him in a tabloid. He said he wants one final conversation with Vienna since he has not seen her in a year. Jackie suggested to give Vienna the immunity rose as a peace offering and Jake said he would have to think about it. 
THIRD IMMUNITY ROSE
The next day, Jackie gave the decision power to Jake because she could not handle the pressure. While telling Gia he was thinking about giving the rose to Vienna so she remembers what a good guy he really is, he mistakenly called Gia “Vienna,” and she said, “Jake, get her out of your head.” Gia told Jake that you don’t give your enemy the rose. “You’re trying to kill the enemy, you don’t put the enemy in a bomb shelter when you could just bomb them,” were Gia’s actual words. But Jake and Jackie did end up giving the rose to Vienna, leaving Gia hurt and heartbroken. 
JAKE AND VIENNA TALK
While giving the third immunity rose out, Jake said he wants to talk to Kasey and Vienna. When in private, Jake apologized to Vienna for having raised his voice at her [on their breakup] on TV and said he did it because he was afraid he was losing Vienna. Vienna listened as she cried but once Kasey got up, she left abruptly as well. Jake felt happy with his gesture, telling the camera that he had closure and that he and Kasey are better friends. 
Vienna, on the other hand, told Kasey he is her everything and that she is going to marry him and have his babies. Later, she told the camera that hearing Jake’s  apology was torture and made her sick because he did it to look sweet on camera. She then took off her clothes and had sex with Kasey. Thanks for the rose, Jake.
GIA AND KASEY FORM UNEXPECTED ALLIANCE
Gia told Kasey aside and somehow convinced him to form an alliance with her so that neither would vote out the other. WOW–Vienna ain’t gonna like that one bit. At all. 
ROSE CEREMONY
At the voting ceremony, Vienna was sure that Gia and Justin would be voted off. The other side wanted Alli to go because she played both sides. Kasey was conflicted on who to vote for because he had promised Gia he would keep her safe by Vienna wanted Gia gone. There was a last minute scurry by Blake to get enough votes to kick out Kasey. The women had enough votes if Gia would join them. Jake tried to convince Gia who refused to help because she said she promised to keep Kasey safe.
WHO WAS VOTED OFF?
The two voted off of Bachelor Pad 2 first episode were Justin and Alli. Remember when Ali Fedotowsky told Justin to avoid walking out like a wuss on The Bachelorette and own up to things like a man? Well, he failed to do that then and he failed to walk out like a man on BP2 as well.  When he realized he was going home, he refused to shake William’s hands or hug Michael. He told Kasey to stop smiling because Kasey could not even keep his own girlfriend safe and had to get her “ex pilot boyfriend” to do the job. If that weren’t bad enough, Justin yanked the rose off of Jake’s jacket and said, “I’m walking out of here with a rose one way or another.”  Way to stay classy!
The show ended for some odd reason with the masked man from Ashley Hebert’s season sneaking into the BP2 house, sitting on a toilet, reading a People magazine with the caption, “Ifeel so betrayed,” next to Ashley’s picture. You could hear him say, “Poor Ashley..Bentley Bentley.”

1. GRAHAM BUNN (The Bachelorette Season 4, DeAnna Pappas)
Graham made it to the hometown dates with DeAnna but because he had not confessed his love to her, she gave him the boot despite almost having fallen in love with him herself. He is single, lives in NYC, has a clothing company and is on the BP2 to win money for his children’s charity.

Kirk made it to a hometown date with Ali until his dad, a taxidermist, gave Ali a tour of his basement to show off his work and may have scared her and half of the viewers off.

3. KASEY KAHL (The Bachelorette Season 6, Ali Fedotowski)
Kasey was best known as “tattoo” and “guard and protect” guy until he started dating Vienna. See a picture of his Tatoo here. He is head over heels in love with Vienna and sometimes feels he loves her more than she loves him. Kasey has put on 30 pounds of solid muscle and wants to punch Jake, except he says he will instead take a “Jake and rub his Pavelka.”

4. JAKE PAVELKA (The Bachelor Season 14)
Need we say anything about Jake? He returns to the scene of his ugly break up with Vienna and things should be interesting here with Vienna, Gia and Kasey all in the same house. Jake says he loved Vienna and wanted to come to the show to find closure with her. He feels he has a target on his back and does not feel confident at all.

5. JUSTIN “RATED-R” REGO (The Bachelorette Season 6, Ali Fedotowski)
Remember this guy? Justin did not man up when Ali confronted him about his voice messages to his girlfriend back home and he instead walked off the show. He said the “R” in his name now just stands for revenge and he will gun for any guy on BP2 from his season; AKA, Kasey.

6. MICHAEL STAGLIANO (The Bachelorette Season 5, Jillian Harris)
OH OH! Michael and fellow Bachelor Pad housemate Holly Durst are still fresh off of an engagement call off. He says their engagement breakup changed his outlook on love and it was the worst day of his life when it happened. He says the breakup was too big a hurt to bounce back from. He also says he loved Holly like a husband loves a wife.

LIMOUSINE ARRIVALS
When Holly met Blake, fireworks flew. He complimented her legs and she wished Michael was not going to be in the house so she could flirt back with Blake. Justin admitted he had a girlfriend when he was on The Bachelorete by answering that question with, “so what?” Erica walked in with her Tiara and Blake called her thick. 
Vienna arrived to the scene of her ugly public breakup and was already emotional because she did not want Jake to be there. Lucky for Vienna, she got there before him and made everyone there get on her side first. Gia came out of the limo and told Chris Harrison that she hopes Vienna is not in the house because she hooked up with her ex, Wes. When Gia saw Vienna, she simply said, “hello,” and moved on to the next person. Gia told Vienna not to be mean to Jake if he shows up and told the rest of the cast that Jake is a good guy with a big heart. 
When Kasey arrived at the house, he hugged Vienna and Justin made a barf gesture behind their back. He later told the camera that Kasey was his archnemesis on The Bachelorette and still is and that he wants Vienna and Kasey gone. He said Kasey sounds like a frog and Kermit goes out with Miss Piggy. If you watched Ali Fedotowsky’s season, you know Ali had a two on one date with Justin and Kasey and sent Kasey home on the date. Actually, she didn’t just send Kasey home; she left him standing alone atop a glacier in Iceland as she and Justin flew away together. Ouch.
Michael walked in and hugged Holly. They handled it well at first, but things got awkward when Michael said Blake looked cool, not knowing Holly has already formed a crush on him.
Jake was the last person to walk out of a limo and told Chris Harrison he is here to get closure with Vienna. Jake walked in the house and was happy to see his good friend Gia there. Kasey introduced himself and Jake said, “Oh hi, I know who you are, terrific.” Jake later went outside and got a chilled greeting from Vienna, Kasey and her friends. They all talk about the weather.
Jake told Gia that Vienna will always have a place in his heart but her cold reaction to him tonight showed him that he still affects her. Gia told Jake that he needs to be the bigger man and talk to Kasey and congratulate him on being with Vienna to avoid a fight if Kasey drinks. Jake told the camera he is afraid for his safety so he needed to talk to Kasey.
Jake pulled Kasey aside and told him it’s awesome that he and Vienna make each other happy and he does not want to stand in their way. He said he is no longer in love with Vienna but always will care for her. Kasey said he understands there are two sides to every story, but his problem is that Vienna shakes whenever Jake is around. Kasey said it doesn’t matter whether or not what Vienna told him is true; it only matters that she told him mean things about Jake and he just wants to protect Vienna.
FIRST GAME CHALLENGE
Chris Harrison set out the rules: That each week, the men vote out one women and the women vote out one man. He asked everyone to pair up for the first challenge. Obviously, Kasey and Vienna are a team, so they will play together. Holly and Michael teamed up. Alli paired up with Graham. Melissa and Blake teamed up. Kirk had a few too many drinks and paired up with Erica. Ames and Jackie decided not to partner up because they liked each other and didn’t want to be a target since they were coupling up. So, Ames decided to partner with Michelle and Jackie partnered with Jake. Jake and Gia are good friends but they also did not partner up to avoid being targets. Gia partnered with William. Poor Ella ended up with Justin.
The first challenge was a sex challenge called The Hookup. The men were raised in a harness and the women had to hold and straddle unto to their male partners. The couple who held on the longest would win immunity and a date. William gave up and was first to drop his girl, Gia at the 10 minute mark. Gia was surprised he could not hold on to her when she is so tiny. Holly was next to drop because she said she would rather be drinking. Jackie and Melissa were next to go. Erica fell next, followed by Michelle. Ella fell, leaving just Kasey and Vienna and Jake and Jackie fighting for the win. Jake’s right leg was purple from lack of blood circulation and he was about to vomit, looking for a place to upchuck without hitting Jackie. Yet he still held on. We heard Jake saying to the camera that every time he was about to drop Jackie, he pictured himself over a cliff and thought if he dropped her, she would drop 3,000 feet to her death so he kept holding on to her for rescue to arrive. We had previously heard those words on the Bachelor Pad 2 trailer and lead to believe that Jake had said those words, intending on a painful death on Vienna. Now we know that it was just clever editing instead.
Kasey’s back started hurting and and he felt numb, so, he dropped Vienna. Jake and Jackie won which was good because otherwise, Jake may have had to have his leg amputated if he had held on any longer. Vienna was pissed that Kasey dropped her and the two sat speechless in a hot tub after the loss. “Kinda was expecting more from you,” Vienna said after a long silence between the two. She followed that dagger with, “You made me a promise that you would never ever ever ever let go. Ever.” Kasey asked her to not rub things in his face. She hit back with “We made a promise we wouldn’t fight on camera.” The next morning, their fight continued and Kasey blamed Vienna for flirting with other guys. They eventually made up somehow.

ALLIANCES FORM
Jake and Jackie learned that not only are they immune from being kicked out of the show this week, but they have a third rose to give to the person of their choice to keep him/her safe. While they went on their date, Kasey and Vienna made a final four alliance with Graham and Michelle and Kasey asked them to get more people so they have more people on their side and have a majority vote on both the men and women side. They got Michael, Kirk and Justin to join the male pack. Why they would trust Justin is beyone me because immediately after agreeing to be in their pack, he told the camera that he can switch sides. He went and told the people not on their side the whole story. Alli went back to the Kasey/Vienna alliance and sold out Justin and told them what Justin just did.
JAKE AND JACKIE GET FIRST DATE
Jackie and Jake went on their date to Hollywood Boulevard, leaving a bummed Ames behind. Jake and Jackie’s names were lit up in lights at El Capitan theater and the two had dinner on the theater balcony. Over dinner, Jake opened up and told Jackie about his relationship and breakup with Vienna. Jake said his heart was broken and still wished he could get back with Vienna even after he claims she broke up with him in a tabloid. He said he wants one final conversation with Vienna since he has not seen her in a year. Jackie suggested to give Vienna the immunity rose as a peace offering and Jake said he would have to think about it. 
THIRD IMMUNITY ROSE
The next day, Jackie gave the decision power to Jake because she could not handle the pressure. While telling Gia he was thinking about giving the rose to Vienna so she remembers what a good guy he really is, he mistakenly called Gia “Vienna,” and she said, “Jake, get her out of your head.” Gia said you don’t give your enemy the rose. Jake and Jackie did end up giving the rose to Vienna, leaving Gia hurt and heartbroken. 
JAKE AND VIENNA TALK
While giving the third immunity rose out, Jake said he wants to talk to Kasey and Vienna. When in private, Jake apologized to Vienna for having raised his voice at her [on their breakup] on TV and said he did it because he was afraid he was losing Vienna. Vienna listened as she cried but once Kasey got up, she left abruptly as well. Jake felt happy with his gesture, telling the camera that he had closure and that he and Kasey are better friends. 
Vienna, on the other hand, told Kasey he is her everything and that she is going to marry him and have his babies. Later, she told the camera that hearing Jake’s  apology was torture and made her sick because he did it to look sweet on camera. She then took off her clothes and had sex with Kasey. Thanks for the rose, Jake.
GIA AND KASEY FORM UNEXPECTED ALLIANCE
Gia told Kasey aside and somehow convinced him to form an alliance with her so that neither would vote out the other. WOW–Vienna ain’t gonna like that one bit. At all. 
ROSE CEREMONY
At the voting ceremony, Vienna was sure that Gia and Justin would be voted off. The other side wanted Alli to go because she played both sides. Kasey was conflicted on who to vote for because he had promised Gia he would keep her safe by Vienna wanted Gia gone. There was a last minute scurry by Blake to get enough votes to kick out Kasey. The women had enough votes if Gia would join them. Jake tried to convince Gia who refused to help because she said she promised to keep Kasey safe.
WHO WAS VOTED OFF?
The two voted off of Bachelor Pad 2 first episode were Justin and Alli. Remember when Ali Fedotowsky told Justin to avoid walking out like a wuss on The Bachelorette and own up to things like a man? Well, he failed to do that then and he failed to walk out like a man on BP2 as well.  When he realized he was going home, he refused to shake William’s hands or hug Michael. He told Kasey to stop smiling because Kasey could not even keep his own girlfriend safe and had to get her “ex pilot boyfriend” to do the job. If that weren’t bad enough, Justin yanked the rose off of Jake’s jacket and said, “I’m walking out of here with a rose one way or another.”
The show ended with the masked man from Ashley Hebert’s season sneaking into the BP2 house, sitting on a toilet, reading a People magazine with the caption, “Ifeel so betrayed.” You could hear him say, “Poor Ashley..Bentley Bentley.”

Jake Pavelka Wants America To Have Closure – EXCLUSIVE PHOTOS

SPOTTED: Jake Pavelka (Bachelor, Bachelor Pad 2, Dancing with the Stars) at The Grove in Los Angeles Thursday August 4, 2011, for an interview with Renee Bargh of Extra, moments before Vienna Girardi, Jake’s ex., and her new boyfriend, Kasey Kahl, showed up at the same place for their interview which you can read about here.

Jake told Renee that when he walked into the Bachelor Pad house, he was greeted with a cold welcome from everyone. Renee asked him what he felt when he first saw Vienna, and he said, “nothing.” He added that Vienna is still the same as she was the night of their public breakup on ABC–that nothing had changed.

Jake has recently said that he did not go on the Bachelor Pad for the $250K prize, he went for resolution with Vienna, to find peace in himself, to give Vienna peace so she can go on with whatever she wants to do and, finally, to give America closure.  Good news Jake, America and Vienna have both moved on.

In the previews for BP2, we hear Jake say, “I hope she falls 30,000 feet to her death,” but he told Renee that by that shocking line, he was not wishing death on Vienna. And when the BP 2 premiered,  we learned that Jake was not being mean at all, and he was not even speaking about Vienna when he said that line–it was clever editing.

For all the ladies interested, Jake says he is still single. In fact, he spent half of his interview with Renee flirting with the Australian beauty whose accent was simply melting him.

Avatar’s Success Sent Zoe Saldana Into A Mental Breakdown

Some celebs just can’t take the heat of being famous. Take Zoe Saldana for example. After the record-breaking success of her movie Avatar, Saldana says she went through a mental breakdown and couldn’t stop sleeping the time away.

Saldana covers the September issue of Latina and inside the mag admits that “The year after Avatar was just emotionally overwhelming. I was traveling all over the world, waking up in different time zones. Your body gets exhausted, and by the end of the year I just collapsed.”

When she began training for Colombiana in France, Saldana says: “I was sitting in my hotel room, and I couldn’t stop crying. I couldn’t stay awake. I must have slept for an entire month. It took me the rest of the year, even as I was working and shooting Colombiana, to pick myself up. Thank God my family was there.”

Good news is that Saldana is feeling much better these days and is engaged to Keith Britton. What changed? “I just stay at home and do absolutely nothing,” Zoe now says. “I don’t shower if I don’t want to. I don’t answer e-mails. It’s a healthy way of being selfish.”
