Will Ferrell & Mark Wahlberg Give Other Guys Interview [Video]

VIDEO CLIP OF THE DAY.

When The Other Guys Will Ferrell, Mark Wahlberg and Adam McKay sat down to interview each other for Moviefone, nothing was off limits. Not even Will Ferrell’s ATM PIN number.
The three had no shortage of stories to tell about their co-stars and crew. Adam admits working with Sam Jackson was “the most afraid I’ve been to give anyone direction.”
Mark said: “I play golf with Sam and have hung out with him and I’m still kind of scared of him.”
When posed the question “Who would win in a fight between casts of The Other Guys Adam claims he could take out Scorsese in a brawl, no problem, while Will plans on giving Martin Sheen an elbow to the chops.

30 Rock Will Air Live In October

Seriously – 30 Rock was already quickly becoming my favorite sitcom.

I mean, what more could you ask of a sitcom other than creative, original and witty writing and a perfect ensemble cast?  Well, 30 Rock asked more of itself and just raised the bar on itself and the competition.

NBC just announced that 30 Rock will air a LIVE episode this October 14th. What is even more scrumptious news is that there will be two shows/performances that day, so that both east and west coast viewers can all get to see the show live.

Genius. Even if live TV is not a novel idea; it’s been a minute since a sitcom has done it.

NBC executives told the Television Critics Association that they approached 30 Rock executive producers Tina Fey and Loren Michaels with the idea of doing a live episode and the two were up for the challenge.

Fey, the show’s star and creator, is a pro at live TV from her Saturday Night Live days. Same can of course be said of Michaels, who has been executive producer of SNL since like the 1800’s.

I joke of course.

How soon will October get here?

Sandra Bullock Wants Her Image Deleted from Gulf Cleanup PSA

WOW! Poor Sandra Bullock can’t catch a break lately.

America’s sweetheart tried to do the right thing by joining an all-star celebrity cast in a PSA video (click here to see video) urging Americans to sign a petition to have Congress foot the bill to clean up the Gulf after the BP oil spill.

That ad was created by Women of the Storm whose “mission is to educate leaders and gain attention to the scale and breadth of devastation caused in the wake of Hurricanes Katrina and Rita.” Evidence has since surfaced that the Gulf cleanup PSA video ad may have been propaganda created for BP so BP avoids having to pay for the mess it created.

Bullock, whose image is the most prominent in the video and the promotional pieces put out by Women of the Storm has now asked that her image be pulled from the video until she can ascertain who is behind this campaign. Bullock has issued a statement through her publicist saying that:

“Ms. Bullock was originally contacted through her attorney to be a part of the PSA in order to promote awareness of the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico. At no time was she made aware that any organization, oil company or otherwise had influence over Women of the Storm or its message. We have immediately asked for her participation in the PSA be removed until the facts can be determined. Her commitment to the Gulf region has been apparent for many years and she will continue to pursue opportunities that will bring awareness and support to the plight of the Gulf region.”

Sandra, thank you for trying to help. I mean, when the PSA first appeared, a lot of people thought “why should Congress (and ultimately taxpayers really) and not BP foot the bill to clean the Gulf”?  So, it makes sense that BP does in fact a hand behind its creation. I was concerned too at first, but then thought, at the end of the day, someone has to stand up for the environment and the suffering animals, regardless of who is at fault and who should pay. So, I hope this mess gets sorted out soon even if it is me and you who end up paying for it in the end.

Kara DioGuardi Fired, DeGeneres Quit, JLo and Steven Tyler Hired?

American Idol is giving me whiplash. Season 10 auditions have already started despite the fact that we still don’t know who is coming back as a judge next year.
Ryan Seacrest has two years left on his contract as host and is the only one shown on videos of Season 10 auditions. But who in the world is doing the judging?
Out of the four judges from last year, we have this scenario as of today:
Simon Cowell left in May.
Ellen DeGeneres quit Thursday.
And now, TMZ reports that Kara DioGuardi has been fired.
TMZ and a few other sources who are all quoting The Insider report that Steven Tyler and Jennifer Lopez have both signed on as brand new judges on American Idol.
That would leave Randy Jackson who so far seems to have survived the judges’ panel shakeup that Fox had promised earlier this week.
I don’t know if the Kara, J Lo, Tyler rumors are true, but, someone please buy me a neck brace either way because I can’t take all of this jerking around. I tell you though, if J Lo and Steven Tyler in fact appear on the judging panel once all the rumor dust settles, I will be the first to crown Fox and Idol executives with the “Best Save” award of the decade for having raised the fast-sinking Titanic!

Brilliant moves.

But they kept Randy?

CelebMagnet Readers Can Help Plan A Wedding! VOTES NEEDED!

CelebMagnet is not exactly the place you would expect to find a post on a bridal designer, but since that is exactly who you are reading about right now, then, that designer must be a very special person. And indeed, she is, both to me and to the world of fashion.

But before I tell you about the designer, let me give you some context behind my post.

My story begins with Allison Kornberg, Assistant Editor at LA Times Magazine. Allison is also a bride-to-be. A very brave bride-to-be. How so? Well, in order to avoid becoming a “bridezilla,” you know, the type of bride-to-be who focuses so much on the event that she becomes difficult and obnoxious, Allison is letting her readers and the public in general plan every aspect of her wedding.

Whenever a decision has to be made about any detail of her wedding, Allison puts the decision-making reigns in her readers’ hands by giving them three options to choose from. 129 days and counting into the wedding planning “by committee,” Allison has had the theme (French), date (May 2011), the location (at the beach), and the party attire (formal) all chosen for her, by her readers. She will also be hiring a wedding planner. All because her readers told her so.

Pretty darn brave if you ask me.  After first hearing about this story, I said to myself, there is no way that Allison is going to let the public decide her bridal dress for her; I mean, isn’t what dress to wear the single biggest decision a bride can make? Well, that is of course after the choosing of the groom part is done (don’t worry, she DID choose the groom all by herself). But Allison just announced on KTLA-TV (Los Angeles) that even the bridal dress is not off limits. During that TV appearance which you can watch below, models showed off the three dresses from which the public can chose.

THIS is where all MY readers come in: I am encouraging all CelebMagnet readers to vote for the incredible dress designed by my favorite wedding designer, Nanaz Hatami, the fashion guru behind Aalia Bridal. That dress is the one pictured above and is also the second dress shown in the video above. The dress is a French-inspired piece (which would fit in well with the theme chosen for the wedding) and is made up of petal shaped pieces resembling a rose, so the bride can stand out on her big day.  Click here to vote for the dress designed by Nanaz for Aalia Bridal.

Want to know a little bit about the designer, Nanaz Hatami? I have known Nanaz for a couple of years; and she and my parents have been close family friends since childhood. Nanaz is a down-to-earth, sweet, creative, sharp, fun and witty lady. She has designed evening, cocktail and bridal gowns for celebrities all over the world. I was lucky enough to be at an Aalia photo shoot last year, and I fell in love with so many of her designs that I told her the one and only reason I will ever get married is so I can wear one of her one-of-a-kind designs on my big day. She is that good.

So, here is your chance to help Allison pick her dress and help my friend Nanaz win the contest to dress Allison on her big day.  Click here to vote for the dress designed by Nanaz for Aalia Bridal.

I asked Nanaz what inspired her to design the dress that was chosen by Allison as one of her top three choices and Nanaz responded, “All my life I was inspired by Hollywood’s classic looks from the ’50s and ’60s and Valentino’s touch.”  Nanaz’ favorite actresses were Ava Gardner and Audrey Hepburn. When I asked her why those two, she said, “They were always beautiful and they introduced a classic elegance.  Anything they wore became extremely popular because the two were always ahead of the curve. That’s how I feel about Valentino too.  He is a genius.”

And, here is another reason why I love Nanaz: She is always thinking of others. Whether or not you vote for her, she has has kindly offered my readers a special deal.  Anyone who contacts Nanaz and mentions CelebMagnet will receive a free designer veil with the purchase of a wedding dress. Not getting married but invited to a wedding? NO WORRIES! In that case, mention CelebMagnet and receive 20% off of any cocktail or evening dress of your choice.

Vote away guys. Her dress is the best and fits the theme. You only have two weeks to vote! And, thank you 🙂

Jaime Pressly Cleans Balls In Latest AXE Commercial [Video]

VIDEO CLIP OF THE DAY.

Jaime Pressly is hilarious.

And fearless.

And raunchy.

And we love her for it all.

Just take a look at the commercial she did for AXE. I doubt there is a man out there that doesn’t think this commercial is funny as balls.

Mad props Ms. Pressly.

AND HERE is an EXTENDED portion of the video above!

Tom Cruise & Cameron Diaz Race Cars on BBC’s Top Gear [Video]

VIDEO CLIP OF THE DAY.

To promote the U.K. launch of their action flick, Knight and Day, Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz gave a joint interview to BBC’s Top Gear. As part of their interview, each star got behind the wheel of a Kia for a segment called “Star in a Reasonably Priced Car” and attempted to break the course record held by Harry Potter‘s Rupert Grint.

I wish I could show you the entire interview but BBC has blocked its view. Below is a short montage of the interview and the car races, put together by CelebTV.

I just really liked the full length interview which I got to watch before it was pulled by BBC because of the amazing chemistry between Diaz and Cruise. Their chemistry is the whole reason why I also loved Knight and Day (click here for movie review) despite its insanely silly script. Anyway, here is an excerpt of the interview:

Bob Barker Rips Into Drew Carey As New Price Is Right Host

VIDEO CLIP OF THE DAY.

God I miss Bob Barker. When I was a kid, before we moved to this country, my family and I would vacation in the US. I didn’t speak any English, but that didn’t stop me from watching The Price is Right every chance I got during our brief stays. I was simply mesmerized by Bob’s persona back then and the fact that people in this country won prizes for no good reason.

Anyway, TMZ caught up with Barker (click here to watch the short video) and asked him what he thinks of the job Drew Carey has been doing as Barker’s replacement on The Price is Right. Bob gave a pretty unexpected answer. I have to admit, I am with you Bob on this one.

They also asked Bob how it felt to punch Adam Sandler. Have I mentioned how much I like TMZ?
