Jada Pinkett-Smith On Divorce Rumors:”Where Am I Gonna Go? Will Smith Is My Boo!”

Jada Pinkett-Smith is really tired of all the rumors that her marriage to Will Smith is failing and is setting the record straight. The 40-year-old actress covers the September 2012 issue of Essence magazine and tells the publication:

On divorce rumors from Will Smith:

“It’s rumored that we’re getting a divorce. But no. We’re not getting a divorce. Where am I gonna go? Where am I going to go? That’s my boo. It’s like he’s another part of me.”

On daughter Willow Smith:
“How people feel about Willow is how people feel about Willow. But what I’m most concerned about is how Willow feels about herself. She’s an independent, courageous, genius, talented little girl. I’m happy for her, that she can just be who she is.”

Will, Jada and Willow Smith

Jada Pinkett, Will and Willow Smith attended the “Madagascar 3: Europe’s Most Wanted” premiere Thursday night in NYC.

Jada told the Huffington Post that she wants to work with her daughter Willow. “Willow and I definitely talked about doing a collaboration. She really loves rock music, so she wants to come on and get crazy with me on a track.” Jada added, “But she has new music that’s coming out this summer and she’ll be jumping back on tour.”

PHOTO: Willow Smith Shaves Her Head Bald

Wonder where parents Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith were when their 11-year old daughter decided to shave her head and broadcast a photo of it to the world.

While in ballet class last night, Willow Smith took to her WhoSay account and posted this self-portrait with a clean-shaven head with the caption, “Dance your feelings out…”
So much for whipping her hair around..

First Listen: Willow Smith & Nicki Minaj Collaborate On ‘Fireball’

Willow Smith no longer whips her hair. She’s also not a 21st Century Girl anymore.

Instead, for her third single, she’s entered into an unexpected collaboration with Nicki Minaj and became a Fireball.

Will and Jada’s daughter says she is the “Fireball of the party,” over and over in the song she premiered Wednesday on Hot 97’s The Angie Martinez Show.

2011 BET [Redemption?] Awards: Chris Brown & Michael Vick Among Award Winners

The BET Awards were broadcast live Sunday night from the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles. Big winner of the night? 22-year-old Chris Brown who walked away with five trophies, including male R&B artist, video of the year and collaboration for Look at Me Now.

Brown thanked his fans and said they are everything to him. “I know it’s been a long road. I just appreciate every blessing that’s been put in front of me.”
Brown not only won big, but he was also involved, albeit due to no fault of his own, in the most awkward moment of the night. BET changed its usual paper envelopes with tablets for the first time when announcing the winners. And when they tried to announce the Coca-Cola Viewers’ Choice Award by using a random young viewer to read the results, all went to the crapper. The young announcer went blank-faced for a second before announcing Chris Brown as the winner. Then, to her horror a couple of seconds later, she backtracked and said, “I’m sorry, the winner is Rihanna for What’s My Name.” The crowd jeered as Rihanna’s song played. The co-announcer then said, “This is awkward, the winner is Drake,” as Drake came on stage to accept “his” award.

If that weren’t bad and strange enough, BET later tweeted a congratulations to Chris Brown for winning the Coca Cola Viewers Choice Award. So, the fan was right the first time but we have no idea why the mistake was made.

Willow Smith: “My Family Is Regular!”

Willow Smith is adorable and cute. But the 10-year-old is also a worldwide music sensation.

You wonder, is her talent for real? From the sound, look and word of mouth about her it sure looks that way!
I recently met a multi-Grammy winning musician who works with Willow and he candidly told me that Willow is indeed super-uber-talented. He said if she were 17 or 18, her talent would blow everyone else away. He said, after all, “look at her gene pool, how can she help but be talented?”

Speaking about her famous gene-donors, Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith, Willow told Teen Vogue that her family is “regular.” She also says Justin Bieber is “like my big brother.”
Here are some excerpts from the interview:
On her smash hit, Whip My Hair:
“Whipping your hair means not being afraid to be yourself. If people don’t like you, then bunck them, you know?”

On her sense of style:

“I wear anything I feel like. If I want to put on a pair of Converse with a pencil stuck through them, I will.”

On her music:

“I used to go on tour with my mom and dad and see what they were doing, and I’d tell them, ‘Oh, I wanna do that, I wanna do that.’”
