Eva Longoria Suffers Dance Injury On Desperate Housewives Set [PHOTO]

Eva Longoria injured

Looks to me that celebrities like to post two different types of Twitpics: Ones of themselves nude or half-naked and ones of themselves injured.

I don’t understand either, but I sure will post most of what they dish out.

Eva Longoria is the latest to post photos of herself from the latter category of the injured.

The Desperate Housewives star sent this photo of herself along with the caption: “Resting on set putting ice on foot, hurt it dancing on set.”
Hope you get better soon Ms. Eva!

Eva Longoria Thankful About New Beau; Says She Is A Gypsy

Eva Longoria opens up in the latest issue of Spanish Vanity Fair, saying she is at peace now with her divorce.

“There’s a reason I fell in love and got married. I believed in it. Supposedly I should be angry, resentful and disillusioned about relationships.” But Longoria says, “I’m not.”

How did Longoria find peace after her marriage ended suddenly? She gives credit to her new beau, Eduardo Cruz, the brother of Oscar nominee Penelope Cruz.

“Love did not work with that person. But it can work with another. The only thing I will say is I was very lucky to find Edu.”

On another note, about the cancellation of Desperate Housewives and whether she will find work again, Longoria says: “I’ve never doubted my talent.” She adds, “I know how to make a living. I am a gypsy!”

Top 10 Highest Paid TV Actresses: Which ‘Desperate Housewives’ Is On Top?

Our friends at Forbes have compiled yet another list – this time, of the top 10 highest paid actresses on TV.

Eva Longoria tops the list (in a tie) at having made $13 million between May 2010 and May 2011 for her role as Gabrielle Solis on Desperate Housewives. Eva ties 30 Rock mastermind Tina Fey for the number 1 spot.

Also from Desperate Housewives, Marcia Cross sits pretty behind Eva and Tina at number 3, having made $10 million, tied with Mariska Hargitay of Law & Order: SVU and Marg Helgenberger of CSI.
Somehow Teri Hatcher and Felicity Huffman come in behind the other Housewives ladies after having made $9 million each.

Courteney Cox‘s $7 million for Cougar Town brings her to #8 on the list tied with Ellen Pompeo of Grey’s Anatomy.

Rounding out the top 10 is The Good Wife‘s Julianna Margulies at $6 million.

Eva Longoria: “I Think Divorce Agrees With Me!”

Eva Longoria has totally rebounded from her divorce from Tony Parker and said on the Ellen DeGeneres Show Thursday that she is now in a “happy place.”

“I’m in a really happy place,” Longoria said, “And people keep saying I look younger!”

“Everybody was just pulling for you and hoping you’d be happy, because we love you so much,” DeGeneres told Longoria, before asking the actress to tell her what lessons she’s learned from the split.

“For me, being a woman, I realized you cannot identify yourself through a man or through your marriage … or through a partner.” She continued, “I think it’s our nature to be socially constructed that way. To just be inferior or subservient and you don’t have to be.”

Longoria added, “You can be yourself and really hold your own by yourself no matter what partnership you’re in.”

Eva finished by giving two thumbs up to her divorce: “I’m going, ‘Wow!’ I think divorce agrees with me!”

Ellen asked Longoria:  “Are you and Parker still friendly? Do you still talk?”

“No,” Eva said.
