Emmitt Smith and Cheryl Burke won the Mirror Ball trophy in season 3 of Dancing with the Stars, but on tonight’s premiere episode of the All stars season, Emmitt and Cheryl proved that six year’s after their first win, they are still the ones to beat.

Modern Family started the night at the 64th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards by cleaining house. As it should have. And they ended the night just as strongly by winning the Outstanding Comedy Series. As we expected.
Julie Bowen won the first award of the night, making it the second year in a row that the 42-year-old actress has snagged the title of Outstanding Actress in a Comedy Series. Bowen beat out Sofia Vergara, Mayim Balik, Merritt Wever, Kristen Wiig, and the late Kathryn Joosten. Continue reading
