The Bachelorette 7/18 Show Recap

Ashley Hebert is down to four men to chose from on The Bachelorette hometown dates episode airing Monday July 18, 2011. Here is a recap of the show:

BACK IN THE USA
Ashley, Constantine, Ben F. and Ames return from their exotic tour of the Far East for four hometown visits across America.

HOMETOWN VISIT WITH CONSTANTINE
Ashley said things started to click for her and Constantine in Taiwan and after all four hometown dates, she told Chris Harrison that this was “the best hometown date.” She flew out to Atlanta to visit Constantine and found a whole new open side to him who has been slow to fall for Ashley so far. He took her to his Italian restaurant for a fun, flirtatious pizza-making lesson. Ashley is impressed by all the love the staff show their boss and feels that he is “such a stud.”

She then met his large Greek family and spent the night dancing. Ashley could feel the love in this family unit and in turn, Constantine’s family thought that Ashley and him looked cute and happy together. Constantine’s mom took Ashley aside and asked her if she would move for love and Ashley said yes–guess she’s come a long way because if I recall correctly, she said she wouldn’t move for Brad Womack when she was on The Bachelor.

Constantine’s father told him he has his blessing but gave him the advice to follow the example of him and his mother and work on the relationship through ups and downs but said in the beginning, things should be perfect. At the end of the night, Ashley had fallen in love with Constantine’s family and said she could envision a life with him. Ashley had also won over Constantine’s parents and Constantine said he could see her as part of his family.

HOMETOWN VISIT WITH AMES
Ames lives in Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania and introduced Ashley to his fun-loving family. Ames’ sister saw a spark in Ames’ eyes that she had never seen before but worried that she could not see the same spark in Ashley’s. So, she took Ash aside to make sure her heart is in the right place. She asked her straight out how she feels about Ames. Ash said their relationship has progressed slower than with other men but she likes the qualities she sees in him so she has kept him around over other men with whom she had more of a connection.

Ames’ sister told Ash that Ames lost his father and stepfather at an early age which explains his hesitation to trust. The sister voiced her concerns to Ames that she’s not sure Ash sees Ames as her fiance at this time and suggested to Ames that he kick the romance and passion into high gear so he won’t lose Ashley to the other men. So, Ames decided to show Ashley the most beautiful part of where he lives and whisked her away for a romantic picnic underneath his favorite Magnolia tree followed by a spectacular horse and carriage ride through the picturesque Pennsylvania landscape.

Ames told her his mom loved her. They discussed his boarding school attendance, and Ames admitted he is nerdy. Ash said the two of them have a lot of similarities in common and look at life the same way. After the date, Ames said he has fallen in love with her…Ash felt that they had a real connection and that this could be a storybook romance that she would tell her children about forever.

HOMETOWN VISIT WITH BEN F.
Sonoma, California is the site for Ashley’s date with Ben F. Ben planned a picnic for Ashley at his winery. The two spent time tasting his various wines and discussing intimate details of the mourning he and his family went through when his dad passed away. He told her that this journey has helped him tear down the emotional walls he put up around himself as a result of his father’s death and that he is no longer scared to share his emotions.

Ashley met Ben’s sister and mother but felt a lot of pressure when she heard she was the second woman Ben has ever taken home to meet his family. Ben has a protective sister and she said she has not liked many of her brother’s exes. She took Ben aside and asked him if he sees himself proposing and he said yes. This made her happy that he is finally in touch with his emotions.

Ben’s mom showed Ash family pictures and she loved every second of it. Ben had a touching conversation with his mom about Ashley and how he feels about her–that he is falling for her. He spoke of the marriage of his parents and told her he wants to use their relationship as a model. He also admitted to her that he has regrets about how he handled things when his father died and wishes he would have been a better son to her.  Ashley said she could see herself spending the rest of her life with him.

HOMETOWN VISIT WITH JP
Roslyn/Long Island, NY is the last date location with J.P. The two go on a date to a roller skating rink before she meets his family. The rink is empty but for the two of them–lights are lowered and the disco ball is in full rotation. The two do nothing but kiss, laugh, and fall–Ash says she feels like she’s in the 7th grade. These two are just comfortable together and look like they’ve been dating for a long time. So cute.

JP told her he is so high when he is with Ash and miserable without her, but still willing to risk getting a broken heart if there is a chance he could end up with her.

Ash meets JP’s family who seem very positive to her. JP ended up with a terrible broken heart after his last relationship and his mom and brother are worried that he may suffer a broken heart again. His mom asked him if he is in love with Ash and he says a lot of signs point that way but he has difficulty admitting it just yet. He also said Ash and him have “something” that she doesn’t have with the other men and is confident he won’t get his heart broken this time around. He said he would propose at the end of all this if he felt it, and that concerned his mom even though she feels that Ash fits well with the family.

Ash told JP’s mom that she has used her gut a lot on this journey but she has also learned that she needs to use her head as well. She told her, “I am smitten with your son,” which made the mom smile from ear to ear.  “He has something that is very special to me,” Ash said and JP’s mom loved hearing that. Unlike Ames’ sister, JP’s mom said she saw a spark in Ash’s eyes! SCORE for JP! And the night ended after JP’s mom brought out a young mullet headed pic of JP looking all adorable like he should have been on Saved By The Bell or some other similar show when he was a teen.

ROSE CEREMONY
Before the rose ceremony, Chris Harrison mentioned the name “Bentley Williams” and it hit me that a whole episode had gone by and Ash had not uttered this man’s name once! In fact, when Chris mentioned it, she said, “Who?” Man, our girl has come a long way since those awful, painful weeks of crying over Bentley. She said she was thankful for everything that happened with Bentley because it got her to the point of being left with four fantastic men. Ash looks happy and is excited for her future.

Ben F., Constantine, and JP each got a rose. Ames was sent packing but not before he looked confused as hell when the last rose was given to someone other than him. But don’t worry about Ames, he will be on The Bachelor Pad this August. Never mind, I did feel a little bad when Ames would not stop smiling in front of Ash and kept telling her how beautiful and poetic the whole journey was. He really tried to keep his composure despite his utter shock. Once in the limo, he said he was numb and looked sick to his stomach. Poor guy.

The Bachelorette 7/11: Which Four Men Got A Hometown Date?

On Monday July 11th episode of The Bachelorette, Ashley Hebert had to narrow her men down to four for a hometown date for the opportunity to meet the men’s families.

ONE ON ONE DATE: CONSTANTINE
Constantine got the first one on one date in Taipei, Taiwan–but there was no rose to be given at the end of the date like there normally is. Set against the clue, “Let Your Love Light Shine,” the couple headed out to the Taiwanese countryside on an old fashioned steam engine train and arrivde in a quaint village where they took in the sights. Ashley said their relationship has been developing slowly but she is willing to be patient with him.

They took part in a local custom of decorating a paper lantern with their wishes and releasing the lantern in the air so their wishes comes true. The two created a lantern with marital objects painted on it (and funny enough, a stray dog walking by it peed on it, making Ashley joke that the couple was doomed).

She told Constantine at dinner that physically, he is what she looks for in a man. Which is funny since he looks just like Ben F. He told her she will get to know the real him when he is on the hometown date and around his family. He told the camera, he is at that point of the relationship to take things a step further and is open to the idea of marrying Ashley. With that, they released their lantern and kissed.

ONE ON ONE DATE: BEN F.
Ben F.’s one on one date clue was, “Let’s Spend A Gorges Day Together in Taiwan.” He met Ashley at a national park. They rode a moped on curvy roads, past majestic waterfalls and magnificent lush green mountains. At dinner, Ben F. finally expresses his true feelings for Ashley and that he is starting to fall in love. Ashley tells the camera she feels like she is falling in love with Ben and thinks of him as her boyfriend.

The men wake up in the hotel room the next day and notice Ben did not come back to his room over night. J.P. is pissed off. Ben came back and told the men that nothing “physical happened that you need to know about.” J.P. gets so steamed, he leaves the room.

THREE ON ONE DATE: JP, AMES, LUCAS

The next date is a three-on-one date with J.P., Ames, and Lucas. The men met Ashley in Taipei’s world famous photography district. Once again this season, just like she did with William on their first date, Ashley made her dates take part in a wedding –this time, the men dressed up in traditional wedding attire and took customary Taiwanese wedding photos with her. JP continued to get mad and sad as he watched Ashley kiss the other two men on the date. Lucas was upset because his traditional wedding attire was a long dress with flowers on it.

JP told Ashley he had a hard week hearing about and watching Ashley’s dates with the other men. Ashley stopped JP and said she would be right back. She went and got the rose from the other room and gave it to JP, saying he broke her heart when he told her he had a rough week. Of course that calmed JP’s nerves.

ONE ON ONE DATE: RYAN
Ryan finally got his first one on one date with Ashley and the clue was, “Let’s get a taste of Taipei.” The two go to a local temple and then to the historic Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial Square. Ryan’s never ending optimism started to get on Ashley’s nerves though I don’t think she’d ever admit to it. She did say to the camera that she did not feel the same passion with Ryan as she does with the other men.

When Ryan talked about the hometown date, Ashley broke down and told him he is her perfect guy but no matter how much she looks for it, she can’t find romance in their relationship and doesn’t see him as her husband. Ryan was shocked, “You don’t want to meet my family, and…?” Ashley replied, “I am just not feeling it, I am not.” She said she wanted to be honest with him and not put him through a rose ceremony. With that, she sent him home.

ROSE CEREMONY
Here are the men who got a rose tonight and will be going on hometown dates:
Ames
Ben F.
Constantine
J.P.

LUCAS AND RYAN GO HOME!

How Much Did Ashley Hebert Get Paid For Starring On The Bachelorette?

Let’s hope Ashley Hebert finds true love on The Bachelorette because she certainly isn’t bringing home the big bucks from her appearance on the ABC reality show.

According to Us Weekly, Hebert only made $30,000 for the two months of filming for the show. In comparison, previous Bachelors and Bachelorettes walked away with paychecks of up to $100,000 for the same “work.”
And to put things even in more perspective: Bachelor Jason Mesnick and current wife Molly Malaney got paid $30,000 for a two-hour wedding special last year.

It’s Official: Brad Womack & Emily Maynard No Longer Engaged

Another couple made in The Bachelor heaven bites the dust.

We’ve all heard the rumors since it seems like before The BachelorBrad Womack Round 2 finale even aired: That Brad and his chosen lady which turned out to be the beautiful Emily Maynard have hit splitsville.
But now, we sadly have confirmation: Maynard and Womack have called quits on their fairy tale while on TV but rocky while in real world relationship.
“We’re no longer engaged,” Maynard told People. Maynard does not place blame for the breakup of the relationship on Womack, but Womack surely places fault on himself:

“The demise of our relationship was completely my fault,” Womack told People.

Maynard takes a kinder approach: “Just because we love each other doesn’t mean we’re right for each other.”

Want to know more? ABC will air a heart to heart between Maynard and Chris Harrison on July 11.
Emily Maynard for the next Bachelorette?? I say yes! But then again, ABC would then be tempted to bring back Bentley Williams who was dying to have EM as the Bachelorette but instead got Ashley Hebert (and we all know what happened there…)

Bachelorette 6/27 Recap: Who Got A Rose & What Did Bentley Do?

On the sixth episode of The Bachelorette (June 27, 2011), Ashley Hebert and the remaining 8 men jetted out to Hong Kong and braced themselves for the moment we all have been waiting for, the return of the dreaded Bentley.

BENTLEY’S RETURN
Ashley started the show with saying part of her heart is in the US with Bentley. And she was still fully focused on the “dot dot dot” Bentley left her with when he bailed on the show and her.  Three minutes in the show, and we heard the name Bentley 20 times. This is gonna be a fun episode to recap, I can tell.

Chris Harrison went to Ashley’s hotel room and told her that Bentley is her roadblock to happiness with any of the remaining men. Chris also said that he delivered on his promise to do everything he can to get her to resolve the open issues with Bentley and that the show had brought Bentley back to the hotel they were all staying in. Upon hearing that news, Ashley said, “Shut up,” and clinched her heart. There was silence between the two for a while and Chris kept nodding “yes” to Ashley. Once she believed this was not a joke, she asked for time to get herself together and prepare for the meeting. Chris advised Ashley to not be “vague” when she meets with Bentley and to get the answers she needs. With that, he left her with Bentley’s room number.

Ashley walked to Bentley’s room and on the way, we heard her voice over that she still feels the same way about Bentley as he did the day he left. She knocked on room #4315 after some hesitation and when Bentley opened the door, they hugged and kissed. He told her he flew around the world to see her. I may have to hold back my gag reflexes as I type.  He told her he’s been working back home and then asked her if she is OK. She told him after he left, she had a hard time and was crushed and he said he had a hard time too [Beware of men who just repeat what you say you feel]. He told her that her hurt was an affirmation that the two of them were on the same page: That since they had something good going, it would be hard to just walk away.

He said, “I told you to come to Salt Lake if it doesn’t work out with these other guys,” and Ashley said it wasn’t fair to her to leave her with the “dot dot dot.” He said he couldn’t believe he went home and missed her and missed being “here.” Man, he is good. She told him she has a gut feeling about him and knows fate brought them together to either learn from each other or to end up together. He finally said to her with him being back home, it doesn’t look good for the two of them and “implored” her to look to see what she has with the remaining men.

FINALLY, lights came on for Ashley and she asked, “So, this is our period?” No answer from Bentley. And Ashley finally spoke up for herself that he needs to man up and admit if he came here for the same reasons that Michelle Money had warned her about. She went off at him and said if he came here with the intentions of leaving her wanting him, “mission fo@king accomplished.” Bentley still didn’t man up and put the burden on her by saying based on where she is at, they should put a period on things.

Ashley grew some balls that I was hoping she had and bluntly asked him why he came all the way here to end things when he could have done so over the phone. She also accused him of coming cause he wanted a “free vacay.”  DING DING DING! Ashley left without shedding a tear. I am not sure I could have held it together that well. She said afterwards that he played her and disrespected her.

Ashley told her remaining bachelors about Bentley’s return at the cocktail party but as expected, this news does not sit well with her men, especially one in particular who leaves the show.

ONE ON ONE DATE WITH LUCAS
Lucas, Blake and Ryan P were the only guys who had not yet had a one on one date with Ashley at the start of the show. Ashley chose Lucas “to find good fortunes” for her first date this week. Lucas noticed a new glow about Ashley – YAY, project post-Bentley may be working.

The two first strolled the streets of Hong Kong and then enjoyed some authentic Chinese food. They then had a romantic steak and potatoes dinner on a boat.  Lucas opened up to Ash about his divorce. I didn’t see much chemistry there, but he got a rose. Maybe I am missing something – But, I mean, after they kissed, Lucas asked her, “was that our first kiss?” If you have to ask, that’s just weird. Ash did say Lucas makes her “feel like a woman” and protected and their date was one of the most romantic dates of her life.

GROUP DATE
Blake, Ryan P, Ben F., Mickey, Constantine, Ames and Blake got the group date, leaving JP with yet another one on one date and Ryan and Blake without any ever. The group date took place on Stanley Beach and the six men took part in the ancient Chinese pastime of dragon boat racing.

Ash divided the men in teams of two: Constantine and Ben, Blake and Ryan, and Ames and Mickey. The men had to go on the streets and recruit people to help them paddle the boat –they were told they needed at least 6 more people per boat. As the poor men tried to recruit people without speaking the local language, for a second, I thought I was watching The Amazing Race.

Ryan was quickly able to get a full team together. The other teams got their folks together too with Constantine and Ben (Team red Dragon) being able to draw their team to themselves after they put on red robes and walked the streets. Team Red Dragon gave their team a chant of “Baichi” which they thought means “eat it” but later found out it means, “idiot.” Needless to say, the “idiots” came in third.

Ames’ and Mickey’s team was neck in neck with that of Blake and Ryan but Ames and Mickey won last second. When they were all sitting on the beach just enjoying each other’s company, a couple got engaged near them and Ashley asked the guys, “who’s next?!” She saw the close by proposal and engagement as a good omen for her future.

Later that night, Ames said he wants to take their relationship to a different level and sneaked Ash away to an elevator. He pushed the 48th floor button and then attacked her with a kiss…very cute. Once the elevator stopped at their floor, they walked into a patio with a beautiful view.

Ben also got some alone time with Ashley and said his walls are coming down and falling for her.

She met with Ryan and when he asked for a one on one date, Ash told him to wait. She left him to go get the group date rose and took it to Ryan. This came as a shock to the men who can’t stand Ryan.

ONE ON ONE DATE WITH JP
J.P. had the first date the day Bentley left the first time around, so, it makes sense that he got a date the week Bentley leaves for a second time. He and Ashley met up at Victoria’s Peak Park for a picnic. JP told her that this relationship of theirs feels like meant to be for him and he feels comfortable around her. She told the camera that she thought JP is the whole package she is looking for, so, she wanted to be honest with him about Bentley coming back. He was the first of the guys she told that she saw Bentley in Hong Kong. She also told JP that despite how strong she feels for him, she still felt “what if” about Bentley but now she has closure after seeing him. JP took it like a man and sweetly said he’s glad she has closure and thanked her for telling him. Of course he got a rose….

COCKTAIL PARTY
She started the night with a bit too much honesty by telling these guys that she had “completely fallen” for Bentley. The look on the men’s faces showed how defeated they felt at that moment. She also told them about “dot dot dot” and not having had a proper closure with the guy. She then hit them with the fact that Bentley came to Hong Kong.  Awkward.

Constantine stood up to her first and said on their date, she told him she had let go of past relationships and that contradicts what she just told them. Then Lucas chimed in and asked why she had not found closure earlier. She said she reached a point of a roadblock with some of the men so she had to meet him. Lucas challenged her again said the whole thing was weird.

The heat got strong and Ashley left mid interrogation. The men kept discussing her among themselves and JP tried to stand up for her by saying she did not need to even tell the men but she did. Lucas told the men Ash is wasting his “f*cking time.” The men even discussed how unfair it was for some of them to end up in the hospital (Ames) fighting for a chance of a one on one with Ash when Bentley got one without any effort. Finally, they all felt like second fiddle, saying, “Ash is saying Bentley is my first choice, but he’s gone, so, you guys are still in it.” I can’t say I blame the men for their reaction, can you?

Mickey told her one of the things most important to him is honesty and he felt that she had lied to the men. He also said he just can’t see what she saw in Bentley. Mickey added that if Bentley is the kind of man she is looking for, he’d beg her to send him home. She turned the table on him and said if he felt that strongly, she wanted him to take the initiative and leave. So, with that, she walked him out to another boat and he was gone. COP OUT ASHLEY, you know he was speaking the truth!

Ashley then came back to the men and cried and you know men can’t stand seeing a woman cry. So, all the sudden. everything felt forgiven and the men were ready to move on!

ROSE CEREMONY
Blake Julian who never got a one on one date is eliminated. Mickey walked out at the cocktail party. Ryan, JP and Lucas had roses from their dates.

The men who received a rose at the ceremony were:
Ben
Constantine
Ames

Remaining 6 men are:
Ben F.
Constantine
J.P.
Lucas
Ryan P
Ames

MYSTERY MAN #2 COMING BACK
So, in previews for remainder of the season, we see one of the men Ashley sent back coming back. Who do you think it is? And we see more tears and drama. Will this misery ever end?

So, what do you all think? Did Ashley handle her meeting with Bentley well? Did she grill him enough? Should she have told the guys she had fallen in love with Bentley? Should Mickey have left? Is Ashley the worst Bachelorette ever or is she just human with normal vulnerabilities?

The Bachelorette 6/20 Recap: Who Got A Rose And Who Almost Ended Up With A Broken Nose?

Week 5 (June 20, 2011) episode of The Bachlorotte sent three bachelors home. Below is the full recap. If you like the recap, “like” our Facebook page by clicking here and we will let you know about future recaps and exclusive Bachelorette news.

RECAP

The eleven remaining bachelors and Ashley Hebert were in Chaing Mai. There were three dates this week, a one on one, a group date and a two on one, where one bachelor would be sent home.

And this is the episode that Bentley’s return started to take shape – well, sort of. I mean, did he really ever leave?? We’ve heard more about him than any other guy still left.  Now, I’ve met Ashley and I liked her a lot but the ghost of Bentley, or hearing his name repeatedly, is becoming my pure hellish torture, and if Ash doesn’t stop soon, I just don’t know what I will do!

ONE ON ONE DATE WITH BEN F.

‘Let’s fall in love in Chaing Mai, Love, Ashley,’ is the date’s clue. Before the date, Ben said there is a “100 percent chance Ashley will be kissed today.”

Ashley and Ben were whisked off to a local marketplace where they walked around, ate and shopped–taking in the whole Thai culture. Ashley said the more she gets to know Ben, the hotter he seems to her. At one point, the two were staring into each other’s eyes but Ashley said, “you know, we can’t kiss here, it’s not allowed (near the temple.)” So, they had a mental kiss instead. Ashley told the camera there was so much tension that she just wanted to jump on Ben.

Over what Ashley called “the most beautiful outdoor dinner that Ben F. has ever seen,” they talked about life, his wine business and family, including the death of Ben’s father. The chemistry was awesome and undeniable — just as it was during their group date at the orphanage. So, of course Ashley gave Ben a rose and they kissed while a traditional show took place around them. Ashley told the camera that there is a lot of passion between the two of them and that Ben is the kind of guy she could fall in love with.

GROUP DATE
Constantine, Ames, Nick, Blake, Ryan, Lucas, JP and Mickey got the group date which left William and Ben C as the two on one date. The date card read, “Love is worth fighting for,” and unfortunately for all involved, including us the viewers, it meant literally. Guess ABC didn’t learn from the hot mess that the comedic roast group date created, so, it took things to a whole new level of date absurdity by making amateurs take part in Thai boxing.

At first Ashley was excited because she said “it was a really hot way to watch the men,” and she hoped to find the masculinity in them. OK, Ash, I can think of another way or two, but, this is your show, so, a fight it is. Poor Ames must have had a premonition because he said he had not idea what he was doing but if he got a broken nose, it would be worth it. Ashley kept saying how hot this date was at every opportunity. The men sure enjoyed watching her in her spandex, too, until they realized the seriousness of the day ahead of them.

Ames is not much of a fighter and it didn’t help that he ended up with pink gloves and boxing shorts. It made things worse too that the men were taken to a real boxing ring in middle of town with a huge crowd gathered to watch them beat the crap out of each other. I wondered at this point if Ashley still thought this was a hot way to spend a date.

JP was freaking out because he is the smallest guy there but didn’t want to show his fear. Two men at a time got in the ring. Blake and Lucas started the fights and of course testosterone took over in this intense environment of fighting over a woman, not only in front of the said woman, but all her other suitors as well, not to mention half the town that had shown up to watch. FINALLY  it hit Ashley that this may be a dangerous idea. Blake won the match.

Mickey and JP took to the ring next. This whole Gladiator-like dating scenario really bothered me and made me cringe, as it did Ashley at times. JP took an early beating but soon realized he was going to die if he didn’t fight back so, he brought his street game and ended up winning.  Ames went against Ryan but told the camera that he’s never been in a fight in his entire life because he always finds another way around problems. Ryan gave Ames some shots to the head because he wanted to impress Ashley. Ames not only lost the fight, but he was left loopy with a bloody nose. The guys and Ash were concerned about Ames and Ash ran during the last fight (Nick and Constantine) to get the crew to get Ames to a hospital to make sure he was OK.

Ames came back to the group date at night and said he was “dizzy but OK.” Ames told the camera he had a hard time speaking with Ash because of his head and told her that the docs said he was totally in love. Despite all Ames went through, somehow, Blake got the rose at the end of the night.

TWO ON ONE DATE
William and Ben C got the first two on one date of the season. William wanted Ben gone as soon as possible, so, he stabbed Ben in the back by telling Ashley the first chance he got that Ben is ready to go home and explore the online dating sites. About the other men in the house, William said some have her on their minds and others don’t, boiling up Ashley’s insecurities. Oh William, you were the early fave of so many of us, why did you have to go become a rat? As soon as Ash got back to Ben, she abruptly said, “I want to end the 2 on 1 portion of the date right now.” AND BAM, just like that, she sent Ben home, without even having confronted him. So messed up. I did not see that coming from our sweet lil Ash. Ben tried to explain he was joking with the guys, but, Ash’s insecurities had taken over and it was too late for Ben.

During what then became a one on one date with William, Ashley did not feel the same feelings she had felt during her first date with William in Las Vegas, and there was no renewed spark, so, she sent William home as well. Here is what Ali Fedotowsky said today, and she should know: “Not surprised that Ash sent both guys home on this date. You don’t bring guys u ‘like’ on the 2-on-1 date. Even if she kept 1, he wouldn’t have lasted much longer.”

ASHLEY ASKS FOR BENTLEY WILLIAMS
Ashley decided she needed closure with Bentley Williams before she could move forward with the other men. So, she had a heart to head talk with Chris Harrison. She told him that she is certain about the core group of guys she wants to go forward with but she still has Bentley on her mind and “what could have been.” Chris told her it’s not fair to the guys who are fighting for her (literally girl, they’re getting the crap beat out of them for you). But Ashley said the only way to pay respect to the men is to be honest with them and figure out the Bentley situation.

She told Chris, “there was something there [with Bentley].” She asked to talk to Bentley so she could ask him a couple of questions. “The fact that he left me with a ‘dot dot dot,’ leaves me wondering….” Chris said he is there for Ash and he will do what he can to “make something happen.” And we all know that “something” will be to bring Bentley back. OH GOD HELP US ALL!

ROSE CEREMONY
Blake and Ben F already had roses from their dates. Constantine, Lucas, JP, Ames, Mickey and Ryan all got roses at the ceremony. Nick was sent home. Ben C and William were already sent home on their dates.
Tune in next week for a visit to Hong Kong and the return of Bentley. And guess what? The other men feel betrayed that she brought him back – can you blame them?

Video: Chris Harrison Dishes On Bentley’s Return To The Bachelorette

We all watched last week’s cringe-inducing episode of The Bachelorette in horror and disgust as bad boy Bentley Williams crushed Ashley Hebert’s heart and dreams of finding her one true reality television love to pieces while belittling her behind her back.

If you watched The Bachelorette tonight, you saw the preview of a mystery man coming to see Ashley in Thailand. That mystery man is no one other than Bentley Williams himself coming back on the show so Ashley could have some closure.

Rumors have it that Ashley begged the producers to bring Bentley back. More rumors will have you believe that Bentley accepted to come back just so he could get a free trip to Thailand. We don’t know if any of that is true… yet. The only thing we know for certain at this point, is that Bentley does in fact return.

How do we know for a fact? Well, watch host Chris Harrison‘s interview with Extra’s Adrianna Costa talking about Bentley’s return:

Bachelorette Recap: Life After Bentley

The Bachelorette week 4 or shall I say The Bachelorette post Bentley took place Monday June 13. We started with Chris Harrison telling the men that there will be two one-on-one and one group date this week – but he also told them it was time for a new start and that the rest of the show would be taped in Thailand. The men scrambled to get ready for the big move.

Ashley Hebert meanwhile kept talking about Bentley and reminiscing about the measly time they spent together. She said she has to let go, have fun, and enjoy her time. Let’s hope she meant it.

ONE-ON-ONE DATE WITH CONSTANTINE
“Let’s sea Phuket together” is the clue. Nick said he hoped it rains since he was bummed the date wasn’t for him. He certainly got his wish! Ashley’s plan was to take a boat to a private beach but the rain and heavy waves prevented that from happening. Constantine suggested they go shopping together instead. While walking around town, they get some great love advice from a local couple who have been married for 36 years. “Don’t try to win, forgive and forget” is their advice.

Even though Ashley misses Bentley on the date, she still lets loose just a bit by running around in the rain and realizing she has some chemistry with Constantine.

During a romantic dinner on the beach, Ashley wondered if she should tell Constantine how she felt about Bentley. They spent some time talking about honesty and he told her he enjoyed spending time with and felt connected to Ashley. Ashley told Constantine their date made her feel right back on track and he walked off the date with a rose.

GROUP DATE
Ben F, JP, Blake, Mickey, West, Ben C, Nick, Lucas, William and Ryan get the group date with the given clue, “Let’s make this world a better place.” The men meet Ashley in the rain at an orphanage for children who lost their families in the 2004 tsunami. Their task was to “bring sunshine” to the kids by painting the orphanage and setting up soccer nets. The men are impressed and moved by Ashley’s choice to help children in need.
Ryan annoyed everyone because he tried to attract attention to himself and telling everyone what to do.  He just didn’t stop talking. Everyone was so serious about their work that there was no room for Ashley to interact with the men. She looked more like a group leader than on a date. Except Ben F had her join him in painting a mural for the children and that seemed more like a date than anything else going on. The children arrived when all the work was done and they all loved their new rooms and playthings. It was pretty moving to see these kids so happy with so little….

Ashley then planned a celebration and hoped she would be able to reconnect with all the guys. Ashley spent some alone time with Ben F and told him he impressed her today. He kissed her and she said the kiss was really really good.

Ashley took JP for some alone time because she felt he was being a bit standoffish. They sat under an umbrella and he reassured her that their date right after Bentley left was perfect. They flirted, cuddled and made out. Ashley thought kissing JP is magical and the best kisses by far for her, ON THE SHOW. He carried her back to the house and them were a bit green with envy.

Ashley was about to give out the rose but Ryan stopped her and said he wanted to steal her away. That’s rude. He had nothing of substance to say to her. They came back and she gave the rose to Ben F.

ONE-ON-ONE DATE WITH AMES
The clue for this date was “It’s more romantic in the rain.” The duo started on a large boat and Ames told Ashley that he’s been to Thailand before for cooking school. They then got on a kayak and rowed through various caves – the scenery could not have been more beautiful or romantic. Ashley realized that Ames has a lot of great qualities and thought she would have probably overlooked him had Bentley been around still.

Ames and Ashley have dinner inland and she found him charming and sweet. He told the camera that she is smart and looks beautiful no matter what. Ashley said they’re both nerdy and have a lot in common. They talked more about relationships and he told the camera he wants to marry a strong, independent woman. Ashley thinks Ames is smart, sweet, and flirtatious so she gave him a rose. There was no kiss but Ames said afterwards that they did something more intimate than kiss, that is, build a solid foundation for a future relationship.

COCKTAIL PARTY
Ashley wanted to know if West was ready for a relationship. He said he is very much ready to move on and find happiness despite his wife’s death. Ashley said she has big shoes to fill and he told her she should not be filling shoes because this is a different situation. He said he is a completely different guy now, so, she should not feel like she should compete with his deceased wife.

Lucas told Ashley he has been divorced for three years and is looking for new love. He told her he’s the type of guy that never gives up and wants to get to know her better. She told the camera she feels secure and taken care of around him.

Ashley asked Ryan why he’s happy all the time and wanted to know what makes him sad or mad. He said Blake just accused him of being happy all the time too but said he has a lot of love in his chest and for living. He said he thinks life is a gift and wants to explore things further with Ashley. She loves his positivity and energy and thinks he could bring out the best in her.

ROSE CEREMONY

Before roses were handed out, Ashley asked Chris Harrison if she could only send one and not the scheduled two guys home and he said Ashley could do whatever she wants to because there are no rules.

Here is a list of who got a rose: Ames, Constantine and Ben F. received roses on the dates.

Lucas, Ryan, JP, Nick, Mickey, Blake, William and Ben C all got roses at the rose ceremony and that left West as the one going home. He said bye to the guys, hugged Ashley and got into the car – he was quiet for a while. Then he said with tears in his eyes that this was the first time since his wife’s death that he put himself out on the line and hoped he could find love some day.

Tune in next week for Chiang Mai with ambulances, drama, dates ending prematurely and the return of BENTLEY WILLIAMS! YEP, he comes back when Ashley begs the producers to fly him to Thailand. OH DEAR!
