Lady Gaga Throws Adam Lambert Out Of Her Birthday Party

Note to self: Do not drink and fist pump at the same time, cause I may get thrown out of Lady Gaga‘s birthday party. Duly noted.

OK, let  me tell you why I say that…and let me also caution my Adam Lambert fans–you’re not going to like this. Not one bit.

A couple of days ago, Lambert sent a cryptic Tweet: “Was trying for celebratory gesture 4 gaga’s B- piñata style…instead my fist is all bruised and la cita has a hole in the ceiling. #sloppy”.
What was Adam talking about? After some digging, the road lead me to Perez Hilton and his interview with Carson Daly.

Apparently, at a surprise 25th birthday party for Lady Gaga at a Mexican restaurant called La Cita Bar in Los Angeles, Lambert got kicked out for being intoxicated and unruly. Per Perez, Lambert was fist pumping hard, to the point that he punched a hole in the restaurant’s ceiling.

Lambert had actually come uninvited by the hosts of the party (Gaga’s friends) but instead as a guest of the music group the Scissor Sisters who are opening for Gaga.

Perez claims “Adam showed up beyond drunk. Super sloppy embarrassingly drunk!” Eventually, Gaga had enough and she had her security thrown Lambert out of the party.

Hear what Perez said in full detail for yourself:

Video: James Durbin Leaves Jennifer Lopez Speechless

Wednesday night’s pimp spot on American Idol belonged to the show’s lone rocker, James Durbin.

Durbin sang Stevie Wonder‘s gritty urban anthem Living for the City, and showed off his incredible vocal power and range.

Sure, there were lots of yelps and shrieks and of course some Adam-Lambert-like histrionics, but he gave the song his signature rock grit, and reduced Jennifer Lopez into squealing five, six, or possibly even seven audible, “Oh my Gods!” Lopez continued: “It’s just an incredible thing to watch. You leave me speechless!”

Apparently not “speechless” J.Lo, just with nothing else to say but, “OMG!”

American Idol Sends One Of The Top 13 Hopeful Home

And the first casualty of American Idol Top 13 is….drum roll…

Warning: This article contains spoilers that some readers may prefer to avoid. So stop reading now if you rather not now the results!

Adam Lambert and Diddy Dirty Money performed on the show Wednesday night and the top 13 hopefuls watched nervously to find out which of their dreams would be dashed too soon tonight.

Ashthon Jones who was saved last week by the judges when she did not receive enough viewer votes to make it into the top 10 was not so lucky tonight. The singer, who was in the bottom three alongside Karen Rodriguez and Haley Reinhart, was eliminated after it was revealed by Ryan Seacrest that she had received the lowest number of votes following last night’s performance. Ashton then sang for her life one more time in the hopes that the judges save her again, but Jennifer Lopez broke the news: “Not this time, baby, I’m sorry. And it was unanimous. You know I was rooting for you and I’m sorry.”

Jones started crying and her fellow finalists rushed to her side to comfort her. Singers still in the competition are: Lauren Alaina, Casey Abrams, Thia Megia, Pia Toscano, Paul McDonald, Karen Rodriguez, James Durbin, Jacob Lusk, Haley Reinhart, Stefano Langone, Naima Adedapo and Scotty McCreery.

Take A Listen: Adam Lambert’s “Aftermath” Remix

Adam Lambert will be performing an acoustic version of the single Aftermath on American Idol tonight.

A remixed version of the song (which you can hear below) will be available on Adam’s official website later tonight with a portion of the proceeds benefiting The Trevor Project, a crisis intervention and suicide prevention organization for LGBTQ youth.

Here is what Lambert says of Aftermath: “[“Aftermath”] was written about finding the courage to be honest with yourself and the people who love you. It’s about facing adversity and taking risks in the name of personal liberation. The song takes on different meanings to different listeners. I hope this song inspires people to be who they truly want to be… And dance!”

Adam Lambert Talks of Idol, The Grammys and His Next Album At The Grove – EXCLUSIVE PHOTOS

Grammy-nominated Adam Lambert was at The Grove in Los Angeles, CA Wednesday for an interview with Extra TV where he spoke about The Grammys, his next album and of course, American Idol and Simon Cowell.

Lambert, who is nominated for a Grammy for Best Male Pop Vocal Performance, spoke highly of the musicians nominated alongside him. “Bruno Mars, who I love, he’s fantastic. The legend, Michael Jackson. Amazing. I can’t believe I am nominated in the same category. That doesn’t…that doesn’t feel right! He’s such an influence and a legend and an icon for me. Also John Mayer and Michael Buble.”

As any die-hard Glambert fan knows, Adam will release Glam Nation Live (19 Recordings / RCA Records), a CD/DVD, on March 22nd. Shot in Indianapolis, Indiana at Clowes Hall on August 31st, 2010 and directed by Doug Spangenberg, the CD/DVD will feature 12 tracks plus a bonus cut and includes some of Lambert’s most beloved performances such as Ring of Fire, If I Had You and the Grammy- nominated Whataya Want From Me. About this CD/DVD, Adam said, “We filmed it in Indianapolis, Indiana, which seems a little random but that’s where I was born. And it is just a live presentation of what the show is all about.”
When asked about the new judges on American Idol, Adam gave them glowing reviews: “Steven Tyler, he’s a rock legend. He’s amazing. Amazing voice. Amazing sense of style. Sense of humor. And then, JLo. I remember when Waiting for Tonight came out. I was in high school and just jamming out to that song New Year’s Eve. She’s so glamorous and she’s been working in the business for a really long time.”
As for his buddy, Simon Cowell’s new show, The X Factor, Adam said, “I am excited for The X Factor. That should be very cool.” He also said that people probably miss having Simon on TV, and joked, “but I need a break!” To make sure we all knew he was joking, he continued, “I love Simon. He busts my balls, I bust his.”
Most importantly, Adam took time to promote charity:water, a non-profit organization for which Adam and his fans have already raised $285,210 as of the time of writing this article.  Charity:water’s mission is to bring clean and safe drinking water to people in developing nations.

Adam told Extra so much more, so, you will have to tune in to watch the entire interview and hear his words for yourself.

As a side note: I had a whole speech prepared to tell this rock star Idol of mine, and when I ran straight into him, all I could muster is, “Good God, You’re Adam Lambert!” And that, he is and so much more.

Thanks everyone for all the Re-Tweets!
