VIDEO: Marko & Allison Bring Lady Gaga To Tears On SYTYCD

Allison Holker came back to the July 27th episode of So You Think You Can Dance as an Allstar to dance with Marko Germar in a Contemporary Sonja Tayeh routine about damaging someone and basking in the guilt so much that you want to do better by them.

The number, which was performed to I Know it’s Over by Jeff Buckley, brought Lady Gaga to tears. She said “I am just so proud of you,” and could not finish speaking for a bit. “You really love to dance and I know your mom is here [She had flewn in from Guam]. There were so many things I did wrong when I was young and so many things I wish I could take back…and I felt every moment of that through your dance tonight.”

Mary Murphy called Marko amazing and said he is sincere and honest in his style. She said he is still and by far her favorite dancer on the show.

Nigel Lythgoe said this was a remarkable moment since Marko had the opportunity to thank his mother.

VIDEO: Lady Gaga Throws Shoe At Sasha & Melanie On SYTYCD

On Wednesday, July 27 So You Think You Can Dance episode, Melanie Moore and Sasha Mallory closed the night with an electrifying all girl Jazz routine choreographed by Sonja Tayeh and performed to Game On by District 78.

Guest judge Lady Gaga threw her shoe at the stage, saying in the dance community when you do a really good job, you throw your shoe at the stage. She later threw the other shoe at Sonja.  Gaga said, “Everybody can pack up and go home because that was the performance of the evening…You were born this way!”

Mary Murphy: “You just brought it and threw it all over the stage.” She also called the routine the best number of the night and Sonja’s best number ever. She summarized it as strength and power plus elegance and beauty.

Nigel Lythgoe said Beyonce must have been inspired by Sasha to go with Sasha Fierce. He also said Sonja had unleashed the beasts in the girls. He could not tell who is a better dancer between the two, but promised one of the pair of them could be this year’s champion.

VIDEO: Tadd Looked Like A “Young Elvis Presley W/ Michael Jackson Moves” On SYTYCD

On Wednesday July 27 episode of So You Think You Can Dance, Nigel Lythgoe broke his own rule and allowed a winner to come back as an Allstar for the first time ever.

That winner, Lauren Froderman, danced with Tadd Gadduang to a Mandy Moore Jazz routine. Set against Queen’s Another One Bites The Dust, the number was about two masterminds pulling off a heist.

Tadd rocked the number even though he lost his prop hat early on when he got socked and hit by Lauren; Tadd never missed a beat despite the fact that he was bleeding a bit!

Nigel Lythgoe said the style suits Tadd and said he picks up various styles like a sponge and absorbs it brilliantly even though he’s never had any past choreography. Nigel also said Tadd will not be biting the dust this week!

Guest judge Lady Gaga thought it was amazing and perfect.

Gev, Nava, Tadd and me 🙂

Rob Marshall said Tadd keeps surprising us and called him special.

Mary Murphy said Tadd put the “C” in cool and looked like a young Elvis Presley with Michael Jackson moves. “You will land yourself in the finale, I just know it,” Murphy concluded.

I just happened to meet Tadd tonight at The Grove in Los Angeles after his performances Wednesday night and fell in love with his sweet demeanor, friendly manner and down to earth style. GOOD LUCK AND BEST WISHES TO YOU TADD!  Also met Tadd’s friend, Gev Manoukian of season 4 –amazing guy!

Lee DeWyze Is Engaged!

Congratulations goes out to Lee DeWyze who is now engaged to Joanna Walsh, a model from one of his music videos!

The season 9 American Idol winner popped the question July 16 while on a private yacht at Disney World in Orlando, under a fireworks-filled sky.
DeWyze told People: “I’m excited!”
Lee met Walsh last October while shooting a video for his single Sweet Serendipity. “We were casting and I saw her and said, ‘Let’s go with her.’ I thought she was cute.” Guess that’s the best kind of sweet serendipity there could be.

DeWyze spoke of his first date with Walsh: “We hung out and we went to a Lakers game on our first date. She’s a Lakers fan and I’m a Chicago Bulls fan and we just clicked out of the gate.”

The couple has only been dating for 8 months but that does not cause concern for DeWyze who says: “When you know, you know. We both feel that way. We don’t need to be together 20 years before we figure it out.”

You can watch Lee and his fiance in this video of Sweet Serendipity where it all started:

Big Brother 7/27: Who Won POV?

A full recap of Big Brother 13 episode airing July 27, 2011 can be found here, but for now, please keep reading if you want spoilers from the live feed on who won the Power of Veto and what is going on between the alliances.

POWER OF VETO COMPETITION

Adam and Dominic are on the block for eviction. But Brendon won POV in a spelling competition and Brendon used the same word he used last year in the same competition. DUH!

As the week progressed, Rachel, Brendon, Jordan and Jeff caught on to Daniele’s secret plan to drive a wedge between the veteran oldies group by aligning with Dominic, Kalia and Lawon.

Dani keeps trying to get Rachel to backdoor Jeff as HOH. All of this makes the veterans bond even stronger together and plan on getting rid of Dom this week so Dani can’t keep using him to do his dirty work. Too bad they can’t backdoor Dani since she has the Golden Key. This is Big Brother, so, anything is likely to happen or change and Dom may be saved. But for now, Dom is the target for eviction this week.

SHAMELESS PLUG!
PLEASE DO what Brendon Villegas does and follow me like he does on Twitter and Facebook so I can send you updates of every important Big Brother scoop I get!
