Good news Madonna fans! Your fave Material Girl is hitting up the music studio again after years of absence from the scene.
The songbird announced during a recent interview that her next album, her first since 2008’s Hard Candy, will be dropping in spring 2012.
Per Madonna, the first single is expected to drop in February or March, with the full album coming out in Spring 2012.
As first reported by Billboard, this album will be Madonna’s first since parting ways with Warner Bros. in favor of a deal with Live Nation.
Susan Lucci has played the iconic role of Erica Kane on All My Children for 41 years, so, she feels entitled to let ABC know exactly how she feels about ABC’s cancellation of the soap opera.
In the new epilogue to her book, All My Life, Lucci has a word or two for the network’s daytime chief, Brian Frons, who she feels was responsible for the decisions which lead to the show’s cancellation and replacement by The Chew, a much less costly produced show.
In a statement, an ABC rep told the NY Times Post, “We have all the respect in the world for Susan, and are sorry she felt the need to write this epilogue to an otherwise incredible career.”
All is not lost for All My Children fans. ABC has licensed the two programs to Prospect Park, a media and production company which plans on continuing broadcasting AMC and One Life To Live past their ABC finales (set for September 23 and January 2012, respectively) via online formats and additional emerging platforms including internet-enabled television sets.
Lenny Kravitz rocked New York City’s Terminal 5 for the Samsung AT&T Summer Krush concert series last week.
On the heels of releasing his latest album, Black and White America (on 8/30), Lenny did not disappoint fans with his signature guitar riffs, compelling melodies, and undeniable talent! He even jumped into the crowd to the delight of his fans!
It may have taken Gene Simmons 28 years, but the 62-year old musician is finally tying the knot with long-time girlfriend, Shannon Tweed, on October 1st.
“You’re the only friend I’ve got. You’re the only one I love and you’re the only one I ever will love,” the KISS rocker gushed to Tweed during his proposal.
The long overdue nuptials will be held at the legendary Beverly Hills Hotel and the dress code will be “classy cocktail attire…although we know some Rockstar attire will be worn.”
What’s funny is that instead of the parents of the groom and bride sending out the announcement, the wedding invite is sent by the couple’s grown kids:
“After 28 years of loose strings, our parents have finally decided to tie the knot. Our mother will share our horrendous hyphenate of a last name and our father’s life … well, it doesn’t change that much.”
It continues: “But we will be united as a family in spirit and in title forever.”
“There will no longer be a Team Tweed or a Team Simmons but instead a Team Tweed-Simmons,” the message continues.
The wedding comes after a recent split between the two from which Tweed claimed they were unlikely to recover from.
At the time of their seemingly permanent breakup, Tweed told PEOPLE:
“I need some sort of commitment.” She threatened that if Simmons’ on the side and well-documented affairs continued, the duo would be over. “Something has to give,” she said. When Simmons finally proposed, Tweed took to Twitter to tell her fans that it was “the most shocking moment” of her life.
Marc Anthony wants to set the record straight: An affair is not what ended his seven-year marriage to Jennifer Lopez.
“People are trying to peg it on things because it was so shocking,” Anthony told Nightline about the seemingly-abrupt end to his marriage. Instead, he said the couple simply made a joint decision to split.
About the rampant rumors that Anthony’s marriage failed due to an affair between himself and HawthoRNe co-star Jada Pinkett Smith, Anthony just shakes his head in laughter.
“When something like that happens, it’s laughable. We’ve been friends for years. Jada, Jennifer, me, [Will Smith], for years,” he said, adding: “It was a flight attendant, it was the pilot – I heard it was this guy sitting next to me in a rehab in Houston. I’ve heard it all.”
And now, we have heard it all too from Anthony himself….

Probably inspired by a visit from his celebrity love crush Tori Spelling, Adam has won the OTEV POV! He swears to Jordan and Rachel that he will not use it and will keep the nominations the same so he can have a final three with them. He has told Kalia that he does not yet know if he will use the Veto or not but that he is pissed at her for having voted to evict him this week.
