Angelina Jolie is now a devoted mother of six, married to Brad Pitt and a generous humanitarian.
But it wasn’t too long ago that she raised a lot of eyebrows when she carried around a vial of Billy Bob Thornton’s blood around her neck. Oh, and kissing her brother on the mouth on national TV.
On this Sunday’s edition of 60 Minutes, the actress opens up about those wilder days. “I went through heavy, darker times and I survived them,” she admits. “I didn’t die young, so I’m very lucky.” She reflects, “There are other artists and people who didn’t survive certain things.”
Jolie would not go into detail about those things but said, “I think people can imagine that I did the most dangerous and I did the worst – and for many reasons I shouldn’t be here.”
Jolie also admits that she is not completely over her dangerous side. “I’m still a bad girl,” she says. “I still have that side of me…it belongs to Brad. Or…our adventures.”
On tonight’s (Nov. 22) ‘thanks giving’ episode of X Factor, Melanie Amaro showed us her vulnerable, authentic self after she put on an amazing performance of R. Kelly’s The World’s Greatest.
Before her performance, Melanie gave thanks to God for all he has given her. She said everyone else has let her down at some point in life, including her parents with whom she did not always live. So, she learned to rely on God.
After her performance, Melanie started speaking with a British Virgin Islands accent where she was born to show the fans who she really is. The judges gave her a standing ovation and Nicole asked to give her a hug for showing her vulnerability.
On tonight’s (Nov. 22) ‘thanks giving’ episode of X Factor, teen rapper Astro explained his temper tantrum of last week and promised his fans not to let them down again. The 15 year old rapper from Brooklyn explained in a pre-packaged video that he “didn’t know how to control my emotions” last week when he found himself in the bottom two and he “could have handled it better.”
For tonight’s performance, Astro set his original lyrics to Jay-Z’s Show Me What You Got andrapped, “Got my head in the right place and I’m back to win.”
After he finished performing, he said, “To Team Astro and all the AstroNauts across the world, but mostly hip-hop, I’ll never let you down again.”
Simon Cowell said, “The music business needs unpredictability. As long as you keep a good head on your shoulders and always do your very best, you’ll be fine.”
On tonight’s (Nov. 22) ‘thanks giving’ episode of X Factor,Josh Krajcik dedicated a soulful and heartfelt rendition of the Rolling Stones‘ Wild Horses to his daughter.
Krajcik said he had his daughter, Rowan, when he was only 17 years old. After he lost Rowan’s mother, he was in utter despair. Rowan was the only reason he was inspired to go on and pursue his music. “The whole reason I’m here [on ‘X Factor’] is for her,” Josh said. “I hope that she watches and says ‘Wow, that’s my dad.’”
Krajcik sat alone at a piano and without any gimmicks delivered a heart stopping rendition of the Stones’ 1971 classic. The audience gave him a standing ovation when he was finished and mentor Nicole Scherzinger said, “I strongly believe that your music can change the world.”
The X Factor USA aired its top 9, special Thanksgiving live show November 22, 2011. Paula Abdul still has one contestant left in the competition, Lakoda Rayne. Nicole Scherzinger has two, after losing Stacy Francis last week. L.A. Reid and Simon Cowell still have all three of their contestants.

ROB AND CHERYL – IN FINAL TWO! First Dance: Samba Judges’ comments: Bruno said Rob has improved beyond everyone’s expectations. Called him smooth and suave. Carrie Ann said Rob was elegant and refined but had a little slip. Len said the little slip doesn’t matter and that Rob has the best footwork of any guy he has seen on the show. SCORE: 26. Combined with last night’s score, they are in second place with a score of 83.

Giuliana Rancicunderwent a double lumpectomy a month ago but she is already healing and optimistic about the future, all thanks to the early detection of her breast cancer and the support she’s received.
“I’m hanging in there,” she reveals to Parade. “I have good days and bad days.”
Rancic, who at first was a “nervous wreck” about revealing her breast cancer diagnosis, now says she is grateful for the support she received while going through this ordeal.
About the fan support, the 36-year old E! host says, “I know it sounds so cliché, but I think it helped me recover much quicker, and it got me in better spirit.” Rancic continues, “The word I kept seeing over and over again was ‘strong.’ ‘Be strong. You’re strong.'”
“That word never meant so much to me as it has this past month.”
Rancic also says, “Early detection means too much. I want women everywhere to make sure they’re taking care of their health and being proactive.”
Our Day Will Come, a new song off of Amy Winehouse‘s posthumous album, has just been released. And unlike other songs released after an artist’s death which may not live up to par, this song whole-heartedly captures Amy’s soft, sultry style and raw ability.
That’s because Amy herself was working on this album before her untimely death and her cover of the Ruby and the Romantics’ 1963 song, though recorded back in 2002, is vintage Amy Winehouse.
The album, her third, will be called Lioness: Hidden Treasures and will drop December 5.
