Modern Family started the night at the 64th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards by cleaining house. As it should have. And they ended the night just as strongly by winning the Outstanding Comedy Series. As we expected.

Julie Bowen won the first award of the night, making it the second year in a row that the 42-year-old actress has snagged the title of Outstanding Actress in a Comedy Series. Bowen beat out Sofia Vergara, Mayim Balik, Merritt Wever, Kristen Wiig, and the late Kathryn Joosten. Continue reading →

Billy Joe Armstrong checks into rehab

Two days after Green Day lead singer Billie Joe Armstrong had a mental meltdown on stage at iHeartRadio Music Festival, he has checked into rehab.

His rep told E!: “Green Day’s Billie Joe Armstrong is seeking treatment for substance abuse.” The rep added, “Green Day would like everyone to know that their set was not cut short by Clear Channel and to apologize to those they offended at the iHeartRadio Festival in Las Vegas. The band regretfully must postpone some of their upcoming promotional appearances.” Continue reading →

The entire cast of Full House – well, everyone except twins Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen – reunited Saturday in celebration of the iconic show’s 25th anniversary.

Poor Justin Bieber. He wasn’t even at iHeartRadio Music Festival, but that did not stop Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong from cussing the teenager out.

Here is what happened. Green Day was on stage in Las Vegas at the famous festival when they were given a one-minute warning to finish their set short of schedule.
