Pink Injured During German Concert in Malfunctioning Harness [Video]

BREAKING NEWS. Pink has suffered a fall at her concert and rushed to the hospital in Germany. Initial reports say she is doing fine.

 This has been a tough year for musicians. Bono (back surgery) and Jon Bon Jovi (torn calf muscle) both suffered serious injuries this year while either rehearsing or performing. Today, was Pink’s turn. But Pink is tough as nails and we know she will be fine.

Pink is famous not only for her powerful vocals, but for her jaw-dropping trapeze and high wire stunts as well.But something went terribly wrong tonight at her concert  in Nurenberg, Germany, and she was rushed to the hospital after being accidentally dragged off of the stage by a wire harness and crashing into a barricade. After hobbling back on to the stage, she told the audience, “I’m not sure but I think I might have broken something. . . . I’m very sorry I can’t do the last song, but thanks for coming.”

Leave it to Pink to look for artistry even in her accident. This is a string of Tweets the rock goddess sent earlier tonight:

Pink is promising fans she’ll be back in action in time for a Friday concert in Salem, Germany.

“Full steam ahead people,” she Tweeted Friday morning. “No pain, no gain. or is it no brain, no pain? either way, i will be on that stage, even if i have to crawl.” 

Pamela Anderson PETA Ad Banned In Montreal

As a long-time spokesperson for PETA, Pamela Anderson flew to Montreal to unveil her newest vegetarian campaign ad for PETA at an official launch party.

Bono Has Recovered And U2 Set to Begin Tour Again

Some good news out of Dublin: Bono is back. As you remember, Bono hurt his back during rehearsals on May 21st of this year and had to undergo emergency surgery. 
The injury forced U2 to cancel the entire sold-out, 16-city North American tour scheduled for this summer. All those dates have been rescheduled for May-July 2011 with the original tickets still valid.
Bono announced that he has fully recovered from that injury and is working on getting ready to tour again. He apologized to North American fans who had purchased tickets prior to Bono’s injury and who now have to wait a full year to see the band return to action. “I wanted to apologize for the trouble that this injury has put you all through, those of you that bought tickets, and organized hotels and travel plans. It’s a very big deal. People go to a lot of trouble to get U2 tickets and we don’t take it for granted. Thank you for standing by us in our hour of need.”
Bono did not explain how he had hurt his back which his neurosurgeons in May had described as sudden partial paralysis. He did say, however, that his injury, surgery and convalescence “was not a lot of fun for me. The injury was quite serious … but staring at the ceiling has some advantages — forced indolence.” He said he used the time to write new lyrics and tunes.
U2’s next scheduled performance is Aug. 6 in Turin, Italy.

Old Spice Guy Sends Last Video And Signs Off

  And, just as quickly as he exploded onto the Twitter and YouTube scenes earlier this week, the Old Spice guy has disappeared and left nothing but a cloud of shower steam behind him. 

Although I never received my very own personalized video, despite many Tweets to @OldSpice, I for one will really miss you shirtless guy. I will especially miss following your Twitter flirts with Alyssa Milano. Now, how will I ever know if and how that “long-term committed relationship” proceeds?

But at least, you left us with one last memory:

Madden NFL 11 Pigskin Pro-Am Event – Malibu, CA

The NFL and EA have teamed up to create a unique and exciting program to celebrate EA’s release of NFL Madden 11 and are looking for 1,200 fans to attend. The Event, set for July 22, 2010 (1 -9 PM) will feature 2 teams of 10 participants playing a modified flag football game on a special field in Malibu, CA.

Each team will consist of 4 NFL alumni and 4 celebrities, and 2 current NFL players as coaches. For each participant on the winning team, the NFL will donate Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000) to the charity of their choice. Continue reading →

As I reported earlier, the Old Spice shirtless guy has been sending personalized responses via video to anyone sending him a question via Twitter. 

But something even more intriguing has been going on! A little flirtation romance between the shirtless guy, Isaiah Mustafa, and sexy (Mrs.) Alyssa Milano (Twitter name: @Alyssa_Milano).  The two have been exchanging flirts back and forth and the conversation is starting to get a bit steamy.

LINDSAY LOHAN! I may be the only celeb blogger in the world that has pretty much left you and your recent problems alone. But, you had to do it! You had to incite me, and reel me into your world, didn’t you?!
Hollywood Life reports that Lindsay and her family were getting all googly-eyed over my man Tony Romo, probably better known to every one else as the Dallas Cowboys quarterback. This all went down at Smashbox Studios in Culver City, CA on July 12. 
Mommy Lohan, Dina, reportedly first approached Romo, asking if Lindsay could have an autograph. Now, THAT is a great mom.

Halle Berry Loses Her Cool With Paparazzi [Video]

Can the Paparazzi go too far? Is there an off-limit topic? And, do we really need to know every detail of the life of a famous celebrity?

In Hollywood and its surrounding vicinities, camera men, sometimes hundreds of them at a time, can be spotted following celebs as they perform every day routine chores, like working out, grocery shopping, buying coffee.

Why do we care so much about such mundane events as to create such an over-consuming need for photos and video footage?

How about this: Do you think famous parents while with their children should be off limits? Should Paparazzi be allowed to take video and photos of minors? Should that become illegal?

If Halle Berry had her way, I would venture to say she would have the laws changed to prevent the media from following her every move, especially when her daughter is around. She obviously lost her cool recently with swarming Paparazzi, but, can any one of us blame her?
