VIDEO CLIP OF THE DAY: Paris Hilton Can’t Stand The Heat; Walks Out On Interview

VIDEO CLIP OF THE DAY.

Don’t call Paris Hilton a “has-been” or question her on the abysmal ratings of her new reality show because she will walk right out on you.

Even if it’s a taped interview.

That’s exactly what this frustrated 30-year-old hotel heiress did during an interview with ABC News reporter Dan Harris upon hearing his unwelcomed suggestions that she is no longer relevant with presence of the likes of the Kim Kardashians in the reality world.
“Do you feel as if people like Kim Kardashian are overshadowing you?” quipped Harris.

“No, not at all,” replied Hilton.

“Do you ever worry about your moment having passed?” Harris continued asking.

Here is a video of what went down:

As you can see, Hilton looks off screen a couple of times toward her publicist with startled and indignant eyes. Guess she got the support she needed from her publicist because she just walked off but forgot she still had a mic on. “Well, I don’t want all this being used,” Hilton whispered.

Someone must have convinced Hilton to come back because she is seen answering more questions after a break which involved “heated discussions” between Harris and Hilton’s publicist.

“I’ve been in this business for 15 years now so it’s been a very long time. And just like any other business person or someone in the industry it’s always important to reinvent yourself and come up with new projects,” Hilton justified.

Big Brother July 20: Who Wins POV

Big Brother 13 July 20, 2011 episode picks up with Adam and Dominic on the eviction block. I will have a full recap of the show here by 12 AM PT.

But below are spoiler results of who won the Power of Veto competition and some other spoilers which take place tonight.

WARNING: READ ONLY IF YOU WANT TO KNOW SPOILER RESULTS OF AN EPISODE WHICH HAS NOT YET AIRED TODAY.

From watching the Big Brother live feed, we know that Dominic and Adam win the PoV. Since they were both paranoid with their position in the house, they took themselves off of the chopping block, forcing Jordan to have to nominate a new duo for eviction: Cassi and Shelly.

Cassi is on thin ice since she’s been fighting with Rachel, unless the newbies find out that Shelly is the one that voted against Keith for eviction last week.

Who do you think deserves to be evicted this week?

SPOTTED: Patrick Schwarzenegger (PHOTOS)

Patrick Schwarzenegger continues his summer internship at The Grove in Los Angeles and was spotted Tuesday July 19 doing crowd control for a visit by Victoria’s Secret angel model Candice Swanepoel.

Not a bad gig for the 17-year-old son of Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver who was spotted last week working security during an interview of Paris Hilton by Extra TV.

Kim Kardashian Sues Old Navy For Misuse Of Her Doppleganger

Maybe the last straw was the fact that Kim Kardashian‘s Old Navy commercial doppleganger (singer Melissa Monaro) started dating Kim’s ex, Reggie Bush.

Or maybe it was Old Navy Tweeting Kim and flaunting their use of Kim’s clone and look-alike in their commercials.

Whatever the reason, Kim has finally sued the retailer for copyright infringement of her image. Well, not exactly that, but close.

Kim’s attorney, Gary Hecker, filed a federal lawsuit against Old Navy in U.S. Disctrict Court today, citing the retailer’s “unauthorized use of Kardashian’s name, likeness, identity and persona.” Kim’s attorney adds: “Kim Kardashian is immediately recognisable, and is known for her look and style. Her identity and persona are valuable. When her intellectual property rights are violated, she intends to enforce them.”

Kim is seeking damages of up to $20 million, and has said that she’s worked “hard to support the products [she’s] personally involved with that [she] believes in.” Guess Old Navy just isn’t her cup-o-tea.

This is what Old Navy Tweeted back in February which may have added to Kim’s fury: “Breaking News!! @CBSNEWS reports that Old Navy’s Super CUTE star looks like @kimkardashian. #LOL. What do you think?”

Well, we now know what Kim thinks. And it doesn’t spell “C-U-T-E” for Old Navy.

Ryan Seacrest To Produce ‘Shahs Of Sunset’: A Persian-American Reality Show

Move over Armenians, Ryan Seacrest has set his sights on Iranians next.

Seacrest, executive producer of all of the Karadashian reality shows, announced Wednesday that he is crossing over to the other side with a docu-series series for Bravo.

Tentatively titled Shahs of Sunset, Seacrest’s new show will follow a group of rich, young, affluent Persian-American friends who grew up together in Los Angeles as they balance their conservative Persian family traditions with the fast-paced LA lifestyle.

From indulgent shopping sprees on Rodeo Drive to traditional family feasts at home, the show will feature the opulent lifestyle of these friends who are now trying to juggle their hectic social lives against their up-and-coming careers. Unafraid to flaunt their designer clothing, tricked-out cars and boisterous personalities, spending money is no foreign concept to these young socialites who also treasure the value of family and Persian traditions.

Seacrest, the show’s executive producer, says: “We’re pleased to bring this exciting new story of a distinct and compelling community of Los Angeles to the Bravo audience.” Seacrest continues: “The series will offer rich characters and relatable storylines about everyday life — love, work, friendship and family — steeped in a diverse culture, which is wildly entertaining and fun.”

Piers Morgan who buzzed the performance said, “I have tried to appreciate this act.” He continued, “There is a reason why there are no male pole dancing clubs in America.” Appropriately, he got sprayed by a water gun by Howie.

VIDEO CLIP OF THE DAY: Silhouettes Shadow Dancers Pay Homage To America

VIDEO CLIP OF THE DAY.

The 42 people making up The Silhouettes shadow dancing team from Denver, CO, range in age from Emerson who is three years old to adults. They use a lamp and a screen to make the most unique dancing act I have ever seen.

On Tuesday’s America’s Got Talent (July 19, 2011), this group wanted to make America proud, so, they conjured up beautifully moving shadow pieces representing our Capitol, Mount Rushmore, Iowa Jima, Lady Liberty, and the Twin Towers of NY, against the music of God Bless of America.

There weren’t many dry eyes in the house or on the stage itself once these shadow dancers were finished. Even the Brits on the judges’ panel were moved. Piers Morgan loved the performance, calling it a world class act. He also said, “We’ve had quite a long night tonight and not much of it has been very good…and right at the end, we get an act which is.. fresh and creative and original…that was complete genius.” And it really was.

Sharon Osbourne: “It’s endless what you guys can produce. It’s just brilliant and I applaud you.”

Howie Mandel was moved to tears: “Original, unique, wow. You are worthy of your own show. You are already stars. I want to cry!”

Watch their amazing performance below:
