Move over Armenians, Ryan Seacrest has set his sights on Iranians next.

Seacrest, executive producer of all of the Karadashian reality shows, announced Wednesday that he is crossing over to the other side with a docu-series series for Bravo.

Tentatively titled Shahs of Sunset, Seacrest’s new show will follow a group of rich, young, affluent Persian-American friends who grew up together in Los Angeles as they balance their conservative Persian family traditions with the fast-paced LA lifestyle.

From indulgent shopping sprees on Rodeo Drive to traditional family feasts at home, the show will feature the opulent lifestyle of these friends who are now trying to juggle their hectic social lives against their up-and-coming careers. Unafraid to flaunt their designer clothing, tricked-out cars and boisterous personalities, spending money is no foreign concept to these young socialites who also treasure the value of family and Persian traditions.

Seacrest, the show’s executive producer, says: “We’re pleased to bring this exciting new story of a distinct and compelling community of Los Angeles to the Bravo audience.” Seacrest continues: “The series will offer rich characters and relatable storylines about everyday life — love, work, friendship and family — steeped in a diverse culture, which is wildly entertaining and fun.”
