PHOTOS: “Workhorse” Ricki Lake Continues Dancing Despite Chest Pains

SPOTTED: Ricki Lake took a much-needed break from Dancing with the Stars rehearsals recently to chat with Mario Lopez of Extra at The Grove.  Ricki showed up without DWTS partner Derek Hough but was in great spirits showing off her slimmed down body and bruises – Hey, sometimes, you just can’t have one without the other!

What’s the grueling DWTS schedule been like for the 43-year old mother of two? “It’s like giving birth,” she says. Since her interview with Extra, Ricki has been been suffering from sharp chest pains for more than a week caused by an inflamed nerve. It’s so bad that her doctor tells her this kind of situation would require a two-week rest period for a professional athlete.

But that advice won’t stop this determined dancer in chase of the mirrorball trophy. “I’m OK,” she tells The Hollywood Reporter after this week’s competition show. “I’m in pain, but I’m a workhorse.”

SPOTTEDNeNe Leakes at The Grove in Los Angeles for an interview with Maria Menounos of Extra to promote the new season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta and the paperback release of her memoir, Never Make the Same Mistake Twice.

During the interview, NeNe said, “I don’t know why I put myself out there for everyone to judge and start talking all their trash, but I did, and, it worked.”

The newly-single Leakes told TV Guide about the breakup of her marriage: “Greg and I are separated. He’s moved out.” Leakes continued, “It’s tough because we’ve been together for 15 years and it’s really hard on me because I’ve been with him since I was young and I’ve never really lived on my own. It’s really different for me.” About their current relationship status, she said, “I’m not a dater. When I got married, I took my vows very seriously — I wanted to be married for life. This is probably the hardest thing I’ve had to do. But Greg will be on the show this season. I have an issue with my oldest son, and Greg does come over and help me with that. We are co-parenting, and we do have a child together. We’re just not living together.”

As to what we should expect on the upcoming season of RHOA, Leakes told TV Guide: “Well, you know, I love being an entrepreneur and when I did Celebrity Apprentice with Mr. Trump, he taught us a lot about starting businesses.” Leakes continued, “You’ll see a lot of me doing my business ventures this season. I’m coming out with a wine… I’m actually a restaurateur. I have Famous Famiglia pizzeria that has opened up in the Sacramento airport. I’m also working with my business partner [who may be her new love interest, so tune in to find out!] on opening up the Linnethia Lounge.”

Justin Bieber: The Kid Is Not My Son

Justin Bieber took to the Today show to address paternity claims by 20-year-old Mariah Yeater who alleges that The Biebs had knocked her up in a bathroom at the Staples Center after a concert and that he is now the father of her 3 month old son.

Bieber spoke with Matt Lauer this morning and said, “I’d just like to say, basically, that none of those allegations are true.”
Lauer asked the teen sensation if he even knew the girl asking for the child support from Bieber, and Bieber replied, “Never met the woman.”

Justin explained, “It’s crazy. Every night after the show I’m gone right from the stage to the car, so it’s crazy that some people want to make such false allegations.”

He added, “I know I’m going to be a target, but I’m never going to be a victim.”

“There’s going to be good and bad about this business. I want to focus on what’s real,” admits the 17-year old singer.

And in case we didn’t get it, The Biebs concluded, “To set the record straight, none of it is true.”

Gaga continues that, with the help of her mother, they “hope to establish a standard of bravery and kindness, as well as a community worldwide that protects and nurtures others in the face of bullying and abandonment.”

After Rodemeyer’s suicide which was reported by his parents to be caused by constant bullying over his sexuality, Gaga Tweeted, “The past days I’ve spent reflecting, crying, and yelling. I have so much anger. It is hard to feel love when cruelty takes someone’s life.”

Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart And Taylor Lautner: Immortalized In Cement

It was bound to happen and it was only a matter of time.

That time, as it turned out, was November 3, 2011 when Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner were immortalized in cement in front of Grauman’s Chinese Theatre.

The Twilight Saga trio became the latest stars to be honored with a Hand and Footprint Ceremony outside Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in Hollywood. During the ceremony, Stephenie Meyer thanked the trio for all of their hard work on the movie franchise.

Stewart said, “No one said we had to make a speech or anything.” She added, “This is so crazy for us.” Lautner joined in, “There are a few moments that mean just so much. It’s really even hard to explain. This is definitely one of those. This is really like a dream. It’s such an honor.” RPatt concluded, “This is incredibly scary… This is such an incredible honor. How young we are. It’s kind of ridiculous and amazing at the same time. It’s all thanks to you guys who drive the franchise forward.”
