Jane Lynch and Lara Embry have called it quits on their three year marriage and are filing for divorce. “Lara and I have decided to end our marriage,” Lynch wrote in a statement to People. “This has been a difficult decision for us as we care very deeply about one another. We ask for privacy as we deal with this family matter.”

Lynch and Embry met at a 2009 fundraiser in San Francisco. The duo got hitched on Memorial Day in Massachusetts where gay marriage is recognized.
