Monday’s episode of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills (January 14, 2013) is titled Moroccan Madness”. Below is a full show recap:

Kyle Richards discusses her relationship with her sister Kim with Yolanda. Kyle thought that once Kim was sober their relationship would get better, but instead Kim is pulling away. Yolanda, who was outside picking lemons from her massive lemon garden, recommends that Kim do the master cleanse. Yolanda swears by it and thinks 10 days of the master cleanse (lemon, syrup an cayenne pepper) will change Kim’s life. She gives Kyle some of the juice to take home with her; I’m willing to bet Kyle dumped it out somewhere on the L.A. freeway during her drive home.

Meanwhile, Kim is with her life coach and they are also talking about her relationship with her sister, Kyle. She is still angry, hurt and resents her sister for telling the world that she was an alcoholic. “If you love anybody and you know they have a problem I don’t understand why you wouldn’t go to them in private and say I love you and I’m worried. Sisters don’t do that to sisters.”

Kim isn’t the only one with major problems. All of the ladies gather for dinner at
a Moroccan restaurant (including Camille Grammer) and Brandi Glanville announces that Adrienne and Paul Maloof are suing her over her un-air able comments she made about Adrienne and Paul’s family. “Do they want my leased house?

Adrienne has hired a lawyer and is threatening to sue me if I don’t go to a meeting and sign a piece of paper saying that I won’t talk about her and her family ever again. Is she suing me, is she threating to sue me, did I have to hire a lawyer to defend myself- yes I did. I don’t know what I can do moving forward except to apologize. If I don’t go to the meeting I will be served with papers. It makes me very nervous.”

While waiting for dinner to be served, Kim decides that it is the perfect time to have
a serious conversation with her sister Kyle about the state of their relationship.

Kim tells her sister “I want to make the things in my life better; life is too short to
hold grudges. I’m guilty; you’re guilty. We both need to work on it. I really am sorry.”
The two agree to try harder to become friends and sisters again. Elsewhere at the
table, Taylor Armstrong is talking about her financial issues and dealing with her husband’s death. “Even now my daughter asks me when we are going on our plane again.”

Some of the tension of the heavy conversations going on is broken with my favorite
Yolanda moment of the night: someone asks Yolanda, “where is David?” Her reply,
“oh he’s with Barbara Streisand so he couldn’t make it.” Don’t you hate it when that
happens?

Talk soon returns to the Brandi and Adrienne situation. I love the way they all just
call Brandi poor under the guise of trying to be supportive. Yolanda wonders “what
is she suing for, what does Brandi have that she can get?” Lisa says “ I don’t like
the fact that Adrienne is intimidating Brandi with her financial power.” Yolanda
tells Lisa, “Getting lawyers is when you can’t handle a discussion.” Lisa agrees and
says Brandi doesn’t own anything she is trying to survive. Sue for what, we know. Adrienne comes from family money. She spent $2000 today for a lawyer and she doesn’t have that money.”

Kyle’s husband Mauricio and Lisa’s husband Ken get into the fray and begin arguing with each other about the situation Yolanda thinks that “its so strange for two men to start yelling and screaming at each other over a woman’s issue. Go have a beer somewhere.” The dinner continues its downward spiral and ends with Brandi screaming at Mauricio to “shut the f**k up and go f**k yourself.” All of this before the main course even arrives, who’s ready for dessert? Brandi sums it up when she says, “I thought it was going to be a good night and it went to hell in a hand basket, welcome to Beverly Hills.”
