Kellie Picklerjust proved what it means to be a good friend. A great friend.

Pickler and her friend appeared on “Good Morning America” Wednesday where the two friends shaved their head in solidarity. “Cancer does not discriminate,” the American Idol alum said in a release .

“If this compels even one person to change their mentality toward waiting until the age of 40 for their mammogram, then it will be worth it,” Miller said after undergoing a double mastectomy recently.

Pickler took to Twitter and called the experience “one of the most incredible days of my life.” She added, “Be sure to watch Good Morning America tomorrow morning (Sept 5th). You won’t want to miss this!!! 😉 ” Pickler said, “It’s been a great life-changing day.”
