Miley posted this photo Monday with the caption: “As you can see i have a very busy Monday ;)”

Miley may be taking it easy because she no longer has to promote her new movie, LOL, co-starring Demi Moore. Apparently, the movie which was once lauded by Lionsgate is now being buried by the studio.

Miley shot the movie back in 2010, a teen-relationship-type flick. Then-production president of Lionsgate, Allie Shearmur, called LOL “the kind of smart, fresh and accessible comedy that…is a great fit for Lionsgate’s release slate.”

But today, there are reports that Lionsgate is doing no publicity for the movie and plans to release it May 4 in only seven cities. That’s the same day that The Avengers comes out. Great timing!

Los Angeles Times reports that Lionsgate was worried about marketing the flick. It looks like all it has going for it is Miley herself.

“It lacks the obvious marketing hook of high-profile films like Hunger Games and the upcoming adaptation of the bestselling pregnancy book What to Expect When You’re Expecting,” the paper wrote.
