Celebrities did a lot of publicly-scrutinized crazy things in 2011 but let’s take a second and recognize them for their charitable ways instead for once.
DoSomething.org has released a list of the top 20 most charitable celebs for 2011 and Lady Gaga comes in at top for her various charity works from her support of gay rights to fighting against AIDS and poverty.
Aria Finger, COO of DoSomething.org explains, “There are some interesting trends from this year’s list. It’s dominated by young celebrities and we also see so many couples. Last year the list had its first power couple, Ashton and Demi, and this year there are a total of four couples. Doing good is definitely fun in groups.”
