Adele may have undergone throat surgery early last month, but that does not mean the superstar is staying home and being a recluse while she recovers.
Sporting her signature beehive and looking super fly, the Someone Like You songstress Tweeted this photo Wednesday with the caption, “Back on the grind. Hair and make up did. Merry Christmas! Axx.”
Two days after her multi-Grammy nods were announced at the beginning of this month, Adele wrote on her blog: “Just home from New York, that’s my main excuse for not posting a message sooner, but I’m also completely and utterly lost for words.”
Adele continued, “A couple days after finally being able to talk again I’m pretty speechless…This has been the best year as it is but to end 2011 with this incredible achievement and honour is beyond anything I can express.”
