Tuesday June 7 marked the first night of live performances on NBC’s The Voice where Team Christina and Team Blake went head to head in the competition.
16-year old Raquel Castro, the youngest singer on the show, kicked off the festivities with her rendition of Ke$ha’s Blow.
Before performing, Raquel said she wants to show America that she’s the whole package, and she sure showed us.
She confidently and fearlessly strutted the stage in a sparkly silver mini dress and high heels, surrounded by back up dancers. Raquel was so good, she had Christina Aguilera out of her chair and dancing along.
Cee Lo Green called the performance wonderful. Adam Levine called Raquel, “Amazing” because she can dance and sing at the same time. Blake Shelton started with a with a “dammit” since his team was up against Team Christina tonight and then called Raquel one of his favorites in the competition.
