The Voice kicked off this season’s live performances Tuesday June 7 and Team Christina went head-to-head against Team Blake. Each team will lose two members after the voting is over this week.
Team Blake’s Dia Frampton performed Kanye West‘s Heartless and to calm her nerves, she also played the piano at the advice of coach Blake.
Her performance gained a standing ovation from Blake Shelton. Christina Aguilera said Dia is sweet and cuddly, but brought out the fighter in her tonight. Cee Lo Green said this was “the best rendition of the song” that he’s ever heard and called it original. Adam Levine said Dia’s performance was the most unique moment of the show to date.
