The deejay popped the big question over Twitter. “I can’t wait for Christmas so…. And another TLC show bites the dust. First, the network canceled Kate Plus 8. Now it has axed LA Ink, Kat Von D‘s reality show.
“TLC has decided that the current season of LA Ink will be its last. The network is proud of what the series accomplished in four seasons, following Kat Von D’s journey as an artist from Miami to Los Angeles,” TLC said in a statement.
Poor Kat Von D. She has had an awful few months. First, her house burned down last November, killing her pet cat. Then she called off her engagement to Jesse James right after she got a tattoo of his face on her body. And now, this news.
OOPS! Talk about a case of bad timing and bad body art.
Kat Von D and Jesse James announced Monday that their engagement was off – but today, we learn that the LA INK star had just gotten a tattoo of her ex’s face on her body, before the breakup. OUCH!
In this TLC promo video preview of the show’s season five opener scheduled for Thursday, we see a “freaked out” Von D surprising her ex-fiance with a tat designed especially for him….of him.
“I’m getting his face tattooed on me and he’s about to see it and I’m like, I have no idea how he’s gonna react,” she says in the video. “He walks in and he’s like. . .uh, am I supposed to be here, what’s going on, ya know.”
Too bad those things are kind of permanent – we don’t know if Kat is going to keep it or have it painfully removed.
Jesse James quickly rebounded from his divorce from Sandra Bullock by getting engaged to Kat Von D but the LA Ink starlet announced via Twitter Monday that their engagement is now over.
Watch out Sandra Bullock, Entertainment Weekly reports that Jesse James will be writing a tell-all book.
The book is currently titled American Outlaw and will also include his relationship and engagement to reality TV star Kat von D.
Jesse James and Kat Von D are engaged. The news was broken to People magazine by James saying: “Growing old with her is going to be a f—-n’ blast!”
“I have never met anyone so kind and loving and committed to making the world a better place every day. My love for her is beyond description. So honored that she said ‘yes.’ Growing old with her is going to be a f—-n’ blast!”
What does Kat think about her hubbie-to-be? “There is no one else for me. He’s the one.”
I guess things are going well for Kat Von D and Jesse James. Kat Tweeted this picture yesterday, with the simple caption, “<3".
