Kat Von D sued House Fire

Well, this is just not a good decade for Kat Von D–and we’re only two years into it.  First, her house burned down in November of 2010, killing her pet cat, Valentine. Then she called off her engagement to Jesse Jamesright after she got a tattoo of his face on her body. Then her TLC show got cancelled. And now, she’s being sued for a lot of money…

The LA Ink star was hit by a lawsuit filed in the Los Angeles Superior Court today for almost a million dollars for the damages resulting from the 2010 fire.

Why you ask? Well, State Farm Insurance originally covered the $909,199 in damages when the fire took place but they now want Kat to pay them back for all of it because they are placing blame on Kat for the fire.

Per court documents, the house fire was caused by multiple lit candles “left unattended, and [which] subsequently started a fire within the premises.”
No word yet from Kat’s camp, but we wish her the best in dealing with a tough situation here.
