More housewives drama!  Yesterday the internet was buzzing with news of Real Housewives of Beverly Hill’s cast member Brandi Glanville’s bombshell accusation against fellow housewife Adrienne Maloof. Glanville accused Maloof of using a surrogate to carry her children and lying about it.

Today it’s the ladies of Atlanta who were rocked by a blockbuster announcement. Yesterday, new Real Housewives of Atlanta cast member Kenya Moore’s “boyfriend” Walter Jackson revealed during a radio interview that the two really were not dating and that the relationship was staged for the Bravo cameras. This is a shocking revelation, but not surprising when you consider Walter’s blasé reactions to Kenya’s constant flirting with other men and seemingly never ending pressure for him to “put a ring on it.”Nevertheless, the relationship was portrayed as a genuine one on camera, Kenya goes as far as saying that Walter is “the one” and that she is ready to get married and have children with him.

Walter spoke to V-103′s “Frank and Wanda Morning Show” on Monday to discuss his relationship with the reality star, and former Miss U.S.A. Walter admitted that that he and Kenya were a couple for three months, about three years ago. They lost touch for a while, but in April, Kenya texted him and said she was coming to Atlanta. “I was kind of surprised,” he said. She told him, “I’m going to be doing this show. What do you think of reality TV?” “I don’t know,” he responded. “That’s kind of a stretch there.” “What if you play my boyfriend on the show?” she asked. Walter says he spoke to some of his about it and asked if he should do it. They told him he should enjoy the 15 minutes of fame. So he said yes. “It’s just like acting,” Moore told him.

Why is Walter coming clean now?  Well, it seems as if Ms. Moore insinuated on camera that he did not relent and finally propose to her because he is gay. Walter was shocked by Kenya’s allegation and denies it. He reveals, “I’m well established here. Gay has never been in the block. Why she would say that, I don’t know.”

Currently, Walter says he is happy and dating a younger woman.  Of the showmance, he said that Bravo producers had no clue about the farce.  Walter says that he is happy with how he was portrayed on RHOA. “I’m laid back. They did a great job. I’m not here to bash the show. It was our secret.”

Kenya has tweeted some cryptic messages but has not addressed the scandal directly. “The high road is any action taken or any word spoken with the intention of restoring peace, invoking healing, or advancing love. Good night.”

On Tuesday, Kenya issued this statement,
“I want to thank all my close friends who have reached out to me yesterday. I love you all and appreciate your genuine kindness and support. Everyone is so quick to jump to conclusions when people lie. Look to someone’s motivations. I will address the statements later today. Thanks for all the support.”

Expect some major fallout behind the scenes. Careful Kenya, remember Sheree Whitfield, Marlo Hampton and half of the Real Housewives of NYC cast? They all faced the wrath of Andy Cohen and were axed from their respective housewives franchises. Will Kenya be next? Stay tuned.
