The next installment of The Avengers should include a boy band in their battles and rescue missions!
I am serious. And, I think the boys from The Wanted would make pretty good candidates as super heroes.
The British singing sensation turned rescue heroes recently when they rushed to the aid of an ailing fan as they were leaving town after a show in Scotland.
The Wanted, composed of Max George, Siva Kaneswaran, Jay McGuiness, Tom Parker and Nathan Sykes, were heading on a bus to Glasgow Airport after their gig when their mere sighting sent a group of fans into a frenzy.
One fan in particular was so overcome with excitement that she fainted and hit her head on the ground. What’s worse is that the fan started seizing after she fell. When The Wanted noticed the girl in agony, they leaped into action, rushing out from their bus to help the fan. Sykes put her in recovery position as Parker phoned for an ambulance.
OK, I know, not exactly super hero material, but, at least they were quick on their feet and knew exactly how to help the girl in distress.
“It was pretty frightening,” Parker told the UK Sun, “but anyone would have done the same.”
