The X Factor USA will air its finale tonight, December 22, 2011. One of our three remaining contestants will be crowned the winner of the five million dollar recording contract and star in his, or her, very own Pepsi commercial.
We cannot predict who will win The X Factor, nor are there any spoilers as to who will win. But, the phone number for Melanie Amaro was reportedly jammed for many callers last night, not working, and people could not get through. Is that a good sign for the sole female left in competition that her line was just too busy to get through?
-And folks, we’re live!-Steve Jones welcomed the X Factor twelve finalists back to the stage. All 12 are performing Lady Gaga’s Edge Of Glory.
– Melanie Amaro performs All I Want For Christmas. LA tells her she did the song justice. Nicole said
“All I want for Christmas is a Melanie Amaro album.” Paula said this is the happiest she has ever seen Melanie and told her to celebrate. Simon said Melanie was an absolute pleasure to work with. He also said he prays that she will win it all.

-They lied. NO RESULTS YET! Chris Rene sings Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas. Nicole tells Chris he is a star from inside out. Paula says Chris is the most original and has a great style about him. you. She said he made a classic song a Chris Rene song. Simon said he likes Chris and his performance was very cool. He called Chris an inspiration to a lot of people. Again, he said Chris is a man of his word and the competition would not have been the same without him. LA the journey with Chris has been such a blessing. He said Chris’ experiences and what he can achieve can truly save the world.
– Josh Krajcik sings Bells Will be Ringing. LA said Josh has been the toughest for him to judge this year. Paula said Josh’s voice is magical and she just loves him. Simon said Josh represented the Over 30 category well and has been a brilliant contestant. He also thinks Josh will sell a lot of records in the future. Nicole said she appreciates Josh very much and that he inspires her to want to be better. She said it’s been an honor to work with him.
-Justin Bieber performs. Stevie Wonder joins him on piano and so does Drew! They all sing/perform Merry Christmas to You and Santa Clause is Coming to Town.
– First Results Of The Night: Chris Rene comes in third place.
– Leona Lewis performs her new song, Run. Rachel Crow joins her on stage!
-50 Cent performs with Astro!
