Adam Lambert’s latest shocker? Looks like he’s a businessman first.

The openly gay star tweeted that he’s dialing back the flamboyant man-on-man action for the Malaysian leg of his Glam Nation tour:

“While I don’t believe that my glamnation tour is in any way offensive I have agreed to make a few minor adjustments out of respect for the Malaysian government. Looking forward to a fun show.”

Lambert isn’t the first pop star to have to alter his act when performing in the socially conservative country. Gwen Stefani decided to forego the belly-button ring and her usual stripped-down fashion statement to placate the powers that be.

Conversely, Beyoncé axed a date in the country and instead booked a show in Indonesia rather than try to adhere to the country’s stringent standards, and Christina Aguilera avoided the country altogether during a trek through the region.

Zac Efron is the hottest piece in the biz under 25 right now, but believe it or not, he has his insecure moments, especially when he’s near his stunning girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens.

Zac admits that while it’s been greatdating his ‘High School Musical’ co-star since 2005, she makes him feel awkward a lot.

He explained: “Dating Vanessa makes many things much easier, because you understand each other without having to explain a lot. In terms of planning, I am very picky – worse than any woman. I drive everyone mad, except for Vanessa, she is always very understanding.

“The only disadvantage is that she is always dressed so stunningly that I look awkward and stand out.”

So are these two lovebirds planning on walking down the aisle? Sure…in 20 years.

He added to German magazine Joy: “We definitely won’t be getting married anytime soon. I definitely feel much too young. When I am going to get married it will happen at the age of 40 at the earliest.”

Minka Kelly Named Esquire’s Sexiest Woman Alive

Esquire has named Minka Kelly, the former Friday Night Lights actress and girlfriend of Yankee Derek Jeter, the Sexiest Woman Alive in its November issue.

“I think it’s the most exciting birthday I think I’ve ever had,” the actress tells Esquire. “I’m so excited to be a woman. Done with the twenties.

“I’m confident…in my skin, and I’m cool with my flaws and all that stuff. It just feels nice to be at peace with yourself. I think my thirtieth birthday gave me permission to have all that.”

Judging by the cover, I think this issue of Esquire will be a hot selling copy.

Courteney Cox Separated From Husband David Arquette – Couple Issues Statement

Actress Courteney Cox and her husband of 11 years, actor David Arquette, have separated.

The couple has released this statement:

“We have agreed to a trial separation that dates back for some time. The reason for this separation is to better understand ourselves and the qualities we need in a partner and for our marriage. We remain best friends and responsible parents to our daughter and we still love each other deeply. As we go though this process we are determined to use kindness and understanding to get through this together. We are comfortable with the boundaries that we have established for each other during this separation and we hope that our friends, family, fans and the media also show us respect, dignity, understanding and love at this time as well.”

Sex And The City 3 In The Works?

Sex and the City fans – do not listen to rumors that the SATC franchise is dead.

It is true that Sex and the City 2 was a bomb with critics, but that didn’t keep the fans away as we all spent over $95 million at the box office in the U.S. alone to see our beloved New Yorkers Carrie, Miranda, Charlotte and Samantha.

That ain’t no chump change, and Sarah Jessica Parker, a star and producer of the SATC movies, has taken note.

According to Vulture, Parker is not closing the door on a sequel.

At the New York City Ballet’s red carpet recently, Parker told Vulture, “I don’t know the future….I would say that you never know what will happen with that particular franchise. It’s less about the reviewers than it is about the audience, and they’ve been pretty true, so we tend to listen to them more than anybody else.”

Well, let’s be thankful that it’s not in the hands of the critics. I will hold on to the small glimmer of hope for SATC 3 because I for one really miss our foursome friends, especially after meeting Kristin Davis recently at a Women Powering Women Symposium. Davis who plays Charlotte on the SATC franchise is as sweet in real life as her character is on the screen, and it was truly a joy to meet someone I have watched on the small and big screen for years. It was as if I were reunited with a dear old lost friend.

And another celebrity gets his own reality show…this time it’s Mario Lopez, the current host of Extra and initially, the lovable jock, AC Slater from Saved By The Bell. 

From a VH1 Press Release:

“From the hottest parties to the dirtiest diapers, VH1 is giving viewers a fly-on-wall look into the life of one of Hollywood’s former sexiest bachelors as he makes the transition to super dad.” 

Lopez and his girlfriend Courtney Mazza welcomed a baby girl, Gia Francesca, last month. The show, aptly and cutely named: Mario Lopez: Saved by the Baby, will follow the couple’s journey as new parents.

From a personal standpoint, I have been watching Lopez every weekday in person, as he hosts Extra from The Grove in Los Angeles and as I blog from the set. So, I for one can’t wait to watch this dimpled-cutie pie  get his very own reality show. Congratulations Mario!

Gwyneth Paltrow Was Almost A Casting Couch Victim

The casting couch may still be alive and kicking in Hollywood. Who knows how many actresses fall prey to it because it is an unspoken topic usually. But Gwyneth Paltrow has opened up about her own experience with this topic.

In a new interview with Elle, Paltrow speaks about a time when she was promised a role if she would have sex with the person in charge.

Paltrow says of the incidence: “When I was just starting out, someone suggested that we finish a meeting in the bedroom. I left. I was pretty shocked. I could see how someone who didn’t know better might worry, ‘My career will be ruined if I don’t give this guy a blow job!'”

Obviously Paltrow’s career does not seem to have suffered when she stood up for her rights, but Paltrow admits she was offered better roles when she was younger.

When Elle asked this 38-year old actress how she feels about the kinds of roles available to women today, Paltrow said: “Kind of dejected. There’s a lot that’s okay, but there’s little that’s really good, especially for someone my age. Sometimes you find out that something you really liked is going to someone 10 years younger. I find it heartening that Meryl Streep and Sandra Bullock have been able to find and create amazing projects.”

The Kardashian sisters, Kim, Khloe and Kourtney and Kourtney’s boyfriend, Scott Disick were at Juliet Supper Club in NYC shooting their reality show when a male fan asked for a picture with Kim.

Apparently, the guy’s girlfriend became upset and threw a drink at Kim and a fight ensued. Kim addressed the fight on her website today.

I want to address this because everyone has been asking me if I’m ok after the bar fight last night. I’m totally fine, guys!

Last night Kourtney, Scott, Khloe and I went out to a bar to have a fun night on Khloe’s last night in NYC. A drunk male fan came up to me and asked to take a picture, and I obliged, but his girlfriend, who was also drunk, got a little out of hand. 

Luckily I had Scott and Khloe there to protect me. None of us were drinking… we just wanted a fun family night out, but when people see the cameras rolling, they try to get attention and I guess that’s what happened when the drunk girl saw that we were filming KKTNY. I always take the high road, so we all left straight after and didn’t feed into their drama.
