ABC Unveils Skating With The Stars Cast

As soon as the current season of Dancing With the Stars finishes, ABC will debut a brand new celebrity competition, this time, involving an ice rink versus a dance floor.
The show will be called Skating With the Stars and ABC unveiled its inaugural cast tonight during the Dancing with the Stars Tuesday results show.  Here are the six “celebs” who will kickoff the new ABC show live Nov. 22:

Bethenny Frankel, star of Bravo’s Bethenny Getting Married? and formerly The Real Housewives of New York

Brandon Mychal Smith plays super-suave Nico Harris on the Disney Channel sitcom Sonny With A Chance. He also recently starred as Stubby in the Disney Channel Original Movie StarStruck.

Jonny Moseley has amassed an impressive list of titles and medals as a skier but it’s his ability to bring the crowd to its feet that defines his career. He’s been a free-skiing force in the Olympics and at the X-Games.

Daytime Emmy Award nominee and fan favorite Rebecca Budig originally joined the cast of All My Children in 1999, playing the role of Greenlee Smythe. After nearly a year hiatus, she made her many fans very happy by returning in December of 2009.

From Blade Runner with Harrison Ford to No Way Out with Kevin Costner to Ace Ventura: Pet Detective with Jim Carrey, Sean has starred in some of the most iconic movies in Hollywood history!

Vince Neil is a rocker and founding member of Mötley Crüe. His unmistakable voice leads some of the greatest rock songs of this generation including: Shout At The Devil, Home Sweet Home, Girls, Girls, Girls, Dr. Feelgood, Kickstart My Heart, Same Ol Situation, and the recent Saints of Los Angeles, which was nominated for a Grammy Award in 2009.

When I first heard about another celebrity skating show, I thought this was a joke because Fox had tried this a few years ago and failed pretty miserably.  But, I guess ABC is serious.  Let’s hope this show enjoys all of the success of its sister show, Dancing with the Stars.

Dancing With The Stars Elimination Results – SPOILER ALERT!

Another unexpected celeb exit for Dancing with the Stars tonight.  Who do you think should have gone home? Chances are, you won’t guess the right star.

Before we get to the spoiler results, check out the picture Kyle Massey Tweeted earlier tonight with Kurt Warner and Rod Stewart. Pretty cool!

Ok–back to the results! After the votes were tabulated, it was Rick Fox who was sent packing, despite the fact that the judges had told him last night that he had danced his “best dance yet.” Rick had also received his best individual score and even a 10 from guest judge Hélio Castroneves!

“It’s been a transformational journey for me,” Fox said, his voice breaking down a bit. “It’s been amazing. My relationship has transformed with my girlfriend, my daughter—it’s the most enjoyable time having her here and sharing this with me.”

Cast of NBC’s Newest Comedy “Outsourced” Surprises With Gag Gifts! EXCLUSIVE PHOTOS & VIDEO

The cast of NBC’s newest comedy, Outsourced, Ben Rappaport (Todd Dempsy), Diedrich Bader (Charlie Davis, also OfficeSpace, Napoleon Dynamite), Parvesh Cheena (Gupta, also Barbershop), Pippa Black (Tonya, also Neighbours), and Rebecca Hazlewood (Asha, also Doctors), was at The Grove today, bringing gag gifts for Mario Lopez, host of Extra.

Outsourced is about the call center team located in India for the fictitious Mid America Novelties catalog-based company. The company sells novelty and gag gifts, which of course was the reason why Mario Lopez received such gifts as the toilet mug, fake throw up, and a rubber chicken from the cast.

Watch the video below and the full interview on Extra airing later to see the gag gifts.

I admit I love this show and find the relationships between the characters quite charming, despite the hot current touchy topic of outsourcing US jobs overseas.  It was a thrill that I happened to meet the cast and ride into the Extra set with them on the trolley serving The Grove (see video below). The cast all seem to be having a lot of fun both on and off the set and were extremely cool when it came time to taking their time meeting fans and taking pictures.  Outsourced airs on NBC, Thursday nights at 9:30/8:30C PM.

Good Charlotte’s Benji And Joel Madden Sing Acoustic Song – EXCLUSIVE PHOTOS & VIDEO

Good Charlotte brothers Joel and Benji Madden were at The Grove Tuesday to promote their brand new album, Cardiology, which was released on the same day. They stopped by Extra and Mario Lopez, and you can catch that interview soon on Extra.

Describing the sound of the new album to MTV News, Joel Madden said it would sound a lot like Blink-182. Joel Madden went on to say in the same MTV interview that “There’s nothing dance-y on the record, though, at all, which is different from our last one,” further implying a movement away from the sound of Good Morning Revival.

Joel Madden is engaged to Nicole Richie and the two have two children together. It appears that being a parent has affected the music on Cardiology.  Joel told PopEater: “[There’s] a song that I wrote for my daughter called ‘Harlow’s Song,’ and it was originally like a lullaby, and then [Benji] heard it and really liked it, and the guys heard it and they all liked it.  I’ve never written a song like that. It was pretty interesting. It’s like a straight love song for somebody. It’s a lullaby, and it ended up being on the record. I’ve never really had the ability to write songs like that. So I guess my life has changed a lot. “

Here they are performing their first single off of Cardiology, Like It’s Her Birthday:

Fans Attack Justin Bieber’s Car at The Grove Book Signing

Justin Bieber came to The Grove for a book signing on Sunday. Well, it wasn’t so much a book signing. It was more of a book buying, you know, “buy the autobiography of this 16-year old so you could get a picture taken with the phenom.” No signatures would be allowed or had.

I contemplated for a second whether I should venture out to The Grove to go meet The Bieber only to witness for myself what this “swagger” is that Kim Kardashian and any girl under 12 thinks Bieber possesses. Then, I thought to myself, “Stay home. You don’t want to be trampled by a mob of screaming teenage girls.”

Wow, glad I listened to my inner chicken.

Watch this video (thanks to x17online) of what happened when The Bieber tried to leave The Grove!
