Grammy-winning, multi-platinum hip-hop artist Nelly‘s hotly-anticipated sixth album, 5.0 has finally hit the stores and iTunes this week. And Nelly has done nothing but celebrate by hitting every talk show in town including The Ellen DeGeneres Show, The Tonight Show, Jay Leno, Jimmy Kimmel Live and Chelsea Lately.

Today, he appeared at The Grove for an interview with Mario Lopez of Extra, and he had the crowd going insane. There were kids, teens, parents and grandparents in the crowd begging Nelly for a picture and Nelly did not disappoint a single soul.  It was truly a sight to see. Continue reading →

Kris Allen’s Most Embarrassing Tour Story – And Live Performance – Video And Exclusive Photos

Kris Allen, winner of American Idol Season 8, came to The Grove in Los Angeles for a live performance of his new single, “Alright with Me.”

Kris also spoke with Mario Lopez of Extra and told him he is now touring with Lifehouse. Kris’ interview should be broadcast on Extra soon.

Speaking of touring, Kris recently told MTV’s Jim Cantiello about his most embarrassing tour story which happened last summer, somewhere in Pennsylvania.

Kris said: One night he must have been sleepwalking as he stepped out of his hotel room and was only woken up by the sound of the room door slamming shut behind him.   The story would not be so bad had Kris not gone to bed in the buff that night.

So, there he was, totally naked in the hallway of a hotel room. He finally found a phone and asked the hotel clerk to come open his door for him, which the clerk did, but in the process, the clerk got to see a whole lot of Kris.  Kris laughs, “Man parts are not meant to be seen out in the open!”

Ryan Reynolds Is Named People’s “Sexiest Man Alive”

Not to be out-beautied by his gorgeous wife, Scarlett Johansson, who was named “Babe of the Year” earlier this week by GQ, Ryan Reynolds was just named People magazine’s “Sexiest Man A,live.”

This is the first time that Reynolds, 34, made the list in the 25 years since People began the annual distinction. Reynolds joins the ranks of previous winners such as Johnny Depp, George Clooney, Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise.

Congratulations Ryan – But, am I the only one that just doesn’t completely get it? I mean don’t get me wrong, the man is good looking. He is funny. And he was amazing in The Proposal. I certainly wouldn’t turn down a date request or two by him if he were single.

But the sexiest man alive? He edged out Robert Pattinson, Johnny Depp, Jon Bon Jovi, Jon Hamm, Kellan Lutz, Drake, Glee‘s Matthew Morrison, True Blood‘s Joe Manganiello, Robert Downey Jr., Grey’s Anatomy‘s Jesse Williams, Justin Timberlake, and Jake Gyllenhaal. Wowzers, what a list. But again, congrats Ryan.

Ryan jokes: “Now it’s going to be, ‘Sexiest man, take out the garbage.’ That does sound better!” He continues joking: “The most difficult part is going to be organically working this title into a conversation with random strangers.”

Matthew Morrison Is Not Comfortable With His Sex Appeal

I am afraid to admit that I have not yet fallen prey to Glee‘s musical magic. So, I find it extremely hard to believe that this man, Matthew Morrison, plays a teacher and head of the glee club on the hit TV show.

I don’t know how they dress him down on the show to make him teacher-like, but I like what I see on the cover of Details magazine this month.

“I’m not comfortable with the idea of my sex appeal,” Matthew tells Details. “But I know in my job I have to use it. I wish I could say I got to this point in my career based on my talent, but I don’t think that’s true.”

Not only is the guy hot, but pretty honest as well. He also talked about his bachelor days on Boradway:

“There were all these beautiful, beautiful dancers. As a straight guy I had some room. There were the shared interests in singing and dancing, and I always find dancing with someone very evocative and sexual. I definitely hooked up with a lot of girls when I was a young guy on Broadway. It was exciting. Very joyous and free.”

I beg to differ, Mr. Shu! And speaking of, when Matt is on the set of Glee, he says he sees himself as “a teacher” to his fellow cast mates.

“Yeah, I find myself learning a lot from the set. I do look at stuff people on the show are doing, and I don’t judge them, but I question it. I say to myself, ‘Keep quiet.’ Fame … it’s like a handgun – in the wrong hands, it’s dangerous.”

My fave part of the interview has to be when Morrison discusses all the Broadway bootie he got back in the day when he was doing mostly stage work.

Taylor Swift Talks Love Advice And Kanye West

Taylor Swift is only 20 years old, but she has already been linked to some of Hollywood’s hottest men, including Joe Jonas, Zac Efron, Taylor Lautner, John Mayer and now Jake Gyllenhaal.

“Relationships are fascinating and riveting and completely unpredictable. For me, love is everything,” Swift tells Allure in December’s issue.

“I used to think there were all these rules for making people like you,” Swift adds.

“I was filled with advice! I’d tell my friends things like, ‘Don’t accept that apology! That isn’t sincere!’ or ‘He hung out with his ex-girlfriend? Get rid of him.’ But love is never that simple.”

Off the topic of love, Swift was reminded during this interview that she had told Allure in 2009 that the artist she wanted to work with the most was Kanye West.

“I forgot about that! Oh, wow! That’s…wow, that’s eerie, isn’t it?” she says.

Bristol Palin Apologizes For Her And Sister Willow’s Facebook Outburst

TMZ reports that Willow and Bristol Palin had a war of words on Facebook with a guy who did not like Sarah Palin’s new reality series, Alaska.

During the show’s premiere Sunday night, a student named Tre who went to school with the Palin kids wrote a status update on Facebook which read, “Sarah Palin’s Alaska, is failing so hard right now.”  That comment started a fury of responses and exchanges by Willow, Bristol and Tre and blew even more out of hand when at least one other student got involved.

Kelly Osbourne’s Weight Loss Secrets

To say Kelly Osbourne looks too fab would be a huge understatement. She is on the cover of this month’s Shape in a fire-red bikini and has never looked better or healthier.

Mostly due to her time on Dancing with the Stars, Kelly admits she has lost a whopping 50 pounds over the last year! She now weighs in at 112 lbs. Amazing weight for a women who is 5’3″ tall.

Kelly told Shape: “I never thought in a million years I’d be that healthy girl who wakes up every morning to exercise. I’m rocking a bikini!”

How did she go from flab to fab so quickly? Per Shape,  “Kelly has continued to dance adding the Bar Method and Pilates to her healthy weight loss repertoire. Most importantly, she now eats balanced meals and has given up on crash diets.” 

Way to go Kelly!
