The Biggest Loser Trainer Kim Lyons Launches Nutrition Bar

The Biggest Loser trainer and nutrition coach, Kim Lyons, celebrated the launch of her nutrition bar, “Your Body, Your Life”, Thursday at the beautiful Confidential in Beverly Hills, Calif. Celebrity guests including Taryn Manning mingling throughout the night, eating some healthy superfoods and enjoying music by DJ Mister Mike.
Voli Light Vodka and Refine Cocktail Mixers provided low-calorie cocktails for the night including the ChocoRazz Flirt and CosmoPOMitan, while guests were able to test out some of the newest products launched by Journey Gym. Following the party, which was produced by “Events by Fabulous”, guests were given gift bags courtesy of the sponsors.  Continue reading →

Howard Stern Added As Judge On America’s Got Talent; Parents TV Council Slams NBC

Controversial radio host Howard Stern will take over the judge’s seat left vacant when Piers Morgan left America’s Got Talent.

Stern will join co-judges Howie Mandell and Sharon Osbourne on the hit NBC show this summer.

NBC alternative programming head Paul Telegdy explained the casting: “Howard Stern’s larger-than-life personality will bring a thrilling new dynamic to America’s Got Talent starting this summer. He’s a proven innovator and his track record in broadcasting is truly remarkable. Howard is very passionate about this show and is fully committed to its future success.”
Parents Television Council begs to differ. Referring to Stern as “a performer who is synonymous with shock, profanity and obscenity,” the PTC also said in a statement, “The once-proud broadcast network has lost its way and has made it clear it holds no concern whatsoever for children and families… Not coincidentally, in just over three weeks the network will be standing before the United States Supreme Court arguing for the right to use the F-word at any time of the day, even in front of children.”

The X Factor USA aired its top 4 live show December 14, 2011. Josh Krajcik sang Hallelujah by Leonard Cohen as his second song.

JUDGES’ COMMENTS: LA said that lacked excitement for him and said his advice for Josh and the finals is to stop looking back and to look ahead to where he can go. Paula was crying and said Josh is the performer that opens up his heart and said he is the one to beat. She said he did a brilliant performance. Simon agreed with Paula. He said Josh came out with a great song, it was sincere and he thinks that song will put Josh into the finals. Nicole said that was like a beautiful prayer and that was a gift to all of us.
