Finally! New music from Justin Timberlake!

He teased us last week with some cryptic tweets and a post on his website, but last night while most of Hollywood was buzzing about the Golden Globes, J.T. gifted us with his first new music in 7 years. The new single is called “Suit & Tie” featuring Jay-Z.

In a statement on his website, Timberlake writes:

The wait is FINALLY over! Justin Timberlake is headed back into the recording studio. The singer/actor has announced that he is ready to start making music again. This will be Timberlake’s first album since 2006’s chart topping “FuturSexLoveSounds.”

Today, Timberlake tweeted “To whom it may concern . . . I think I’m READY!” The tweet linked to a video on his website, where he says:

“Someone asked me the other day . . . ‘So are you just done with music?'” Timberlake says. “Music means more to me than anybody else in the world. Look, I’ve only done two albums in 10 years. That’s the way I really look at it. What does the next decade mean for me?” Continue reading →
