SPOTTED: Demi Lovato at The Grove in Los Angeles on October 11, 2011 for an interview with Extra‘s Mario Lopez.

Demi, who is happy and healthy for the first time in a long time, is ready to get back on stage when her Unbroken tour takes off November 16, 2011 in Detroit. Her new tune, Skyscraper, is a “song about rising above your problems and …is supposed to inspire people,” Lovato said.

Lovato, who publicly battled bulimia and was involved in cutting herself, recently finished a three-month-long stint at a treatment facility. She said sharing her past ordeals is not only therapeutic for her, but it also lets her inspire people in similar situations to get help. “When you go through something like this,” Lovato said, “you really find out who your true friends are and [Kim Kardashian and Selena Gomez] were really there for me.”

for Los Angeles animal shelters.

Allison Janney brings her dogs to K-9’S West Location for dog care and said that she has 3 dogs that weigh over 30 lbs. each. She said that she would be lost with out her furry critters in her life.

Friends of LA Animal Shelters is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the helping of animals in LA shelters. The organization raises awareness about our large city shelter system (amazingly unfamiliar even to many animal lovers) and promotes the fantastic dogs, cats and other animals who temporarily call our city shelters home. FLAAS works to break down barriers to adoption which impacts our city’s homeless pets. FLAAS is a volunteer-run organization that funds life-saving surgeries and special projects for orphaned animals. help stop the euthanasia of pets

PHOTOS: 80’s Pop Rock Group The Bangles Are Back!

The 80’s all female pop rock band, The Bangles, are back, three of them anyway, with the group’s first studio album of new music in eight years. Sweetheart of the Sun was released September 27, 2011 and is their first album on the new Model Music Group label.

Known for their mega-hits Manic Monday, Walk Like an Egyptian, Eternal Flame, If She Knew What She Wants and their cover of Simon & Garfunkel’s A Hazy Shade of Winter, the group returned to the studio in 2009 after a long hiatus to record the new album with songs going back to the stylish jangly pop sound which shot them to the top of the charts during the mid-’80s.

Only bassist Michael Steele is missing from the album and from the tour that brings The Bangles — Susanna Hoffs, and sisters Vicki Peterson and Debbi Peterson — on the road once again.

Jason, who just celebrated his 22nd birthday, is a happy man these days. The word on the street is that he is dating American Idol winner and cutie pie, Jordin Sparks.

The duo were spotted together celebrating Jason’s belated birthday and enjoying dinner Sunday (September 25) at Philippe Chow in Hollywood.

Last week, Jordin Tweeted “happy birthday” to the Don’t Wanna Go Home hit maker and he hit her back with “thx LOVE.” Sparks then asked, “Will you get back to the states already?? lol :P.”

Chenoweth also performed a couple of songs and took part in a CD signing for her newly-released country album, Some Lessons Learned. Chenoweth did not intend on recording a country album until songwriter Diane Warren told her she should. “She heard me do a track of Carrie Underwood’s for Glee called Last Name, and she said, ‘You’re a country artist.’ I said, ‘I do feel that, but I’m afraid I won’t be accepted.’ She said, ‘This is part of who you are. Go for it.'” And so, Chenoweth did!

Ryan O’Neal, Jaclyn Smith, Alana Stewart, Kyle Richards, and Cheryl Tiegs were among the many celebrities honoring the life of Farrah Fawcett at Give Back Hollywood’s Friends of Farrah celebration.

The event was held at Soho House in West Hollywood, CA September 13, 2011 to bring about awareness and raise funds for her charity, The Farrah Fawcett Foundation.

The event was co-hosted by Alana Stewart & Jaclyn Smith.

Barbie designer Bill Greening was on-hand to personally autograph the Black Label Collector Edition Farah Fawcett Barbie Doll.
