Bristol Palin Apologizes For Her And Sister Willow’s Facebook Outburst

TMZ reports that Willow and Bristol Palin had a war of words on Facebook with a guy who did not like Sarah Palin’s new reality series, Alaska.

During the show’s premiere Sunday night, a student named Tre who went to school with the Palin kids wrote a status update on Facebook which read, “Sarah Palin’s Alaska, is failing so hard right now.”  That comment started a fury of responses and exchanges by Willow, Bristol and Tre and blew even more out of hand when at least one other student got involved.

Bristol just published this apology via her public Facebook page:

Didn’t See This Hook Up Coming: Bristol Palin and The Situation Talk Safe Sex And Abstinence

Guess who is starring in a new video about safe sex and abstinence! That’s right, Jersey Shore’s Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino and Bristol Palin!

Palin vs. The Situation. Abstinence vs. safe sex. Yeah, I know. Sounds awkward, but it really isn’t and it’s very cute actually. The duo did a PSA for The Candie’s Foundation, which aims to educate kids about teen pregnancy.

The PSA has the two Dancing with the Stars pals chatting it up about getting busy after he hits on her while backstage at the show. See the video for yourself and see what side you land on:

Dancing With The Stars Elimination Results – SPOILER ALERT!

Dancing with the Stars Results: Coming to you live from the set of DWTS! Spoiler alert…the celeb going home tonight is, none other but Brandy!

“I don’t know how to feel right now. It hasn’t processed yet for me,” Brandy said right after she learned of her elimination.

How did Maks feel? The Ukrainian born dancer said: “I said it in many press interviews, one thing that I love…for my family, the choice they made is to come to this country is the fact that people vote and their voices count. I love the fact that this show represents that, represents the people’s choice.  I don’t regret a second of the last five years of my being on the show and definitely not a second of me being on this season. It’s been an amazing journey.”

Spoiler Alert: Dancing With The Stars Recap And Scores

Jennifer Grey could not be stopped Monday night on Dancing with the Stars. She scored a perfect 30 on each of her two dances. Her cha-cha with partner Derek Hough had Bruno Tonioli raving such words as: “Sexy”, “luminous” and “vibrant.” He also said, “The execution was flawless.”  Carrie Ann Inaba loved Grey’s equally-perfect waltz calling it “one of the most beautiful things [she’d] ever seen.” Jennifer said, “I am in love with dancing.”

Bristol Palin who has been at the bottom of the leaderboard 6 out of 8 weeks of competition before Monday nightlooked confident and sexy in her knee-high boots and delivered a ferocious paso doble with partner Mark Ballas. The judges were so impressed with her performance that Carrie Ann asked  Bristol for a hug and said, “I am so happy to finally see you come out of your shell and nail it!”  The dancing duo got their first trio of 9’s for the first dance. But Bristol was not as impressive with her waltz and she ended up getting a 26 and coming in last again in tonight’s leaderboard. Bristol said people at home relate to her because she is “untouched, and raw, and vulnerable.” She continued,  “I am not fake, people relate to me because I am not fake and I’m not typical Hollywood.”

Brandy and Maksim Chmerkovskiy opened their night with a passionate and dramatic paso doble for a score of 27 and Len Goodman told Brandy, “You came out 100%!” Brandy said she dedicated their paso doble to anyone who has been bullied.  Brandy did even better on her second dance, looking extremely polished and elegant and deservedly scored her first 30 of the season on her Argentine tango. “Voluptuous”, “full of flavor” were ways Bruno defined Brandy’s Argentine tango.  Brandy said, “Being part of Dancing with the Stars has been a rebirth for me.”

Kyle Massey said “I feel like I am peaking at the right time” and had a great night – coming in second overall. He collected two 10s on his samba and his Argentine tango with partner Lacey Schwimmer. After his first dance, Len said about Kyle: “What I like about you, there is no backstage dramas, there is no histrionics, you just come out and you just get on with it.” He also said, “I think you have a bionic bum – honestly you have had more bounce to the ounce than anyone during this season!” Bruno said: “You are truly a bouncing bundle of joy!” Carrie Ann had to join in: “I have never seen so much pelvic action!”
Here’s tonight’s leaderboard:

  1. Jennifer Grey & Derek Hough 60 (30, 30)
  2. Kyle Massey & Lacey Schwimmer 58 (29, 29)
  3. Brandy & Maks Chmerkovskiy 57 (27, 30)
  4. Bristol Palin & Mark Ballas 53 (27, 26)

Dancing With The Stars: Another Man Down – Spolier Alert

Only four celebrities left on Dancing with the Stars. I remember before the season started, I told Mark Ballas he would go far with Bristol Palin.

I had a feeling she would have a huge following. But even in my wildest dreams I would not have expected Bristol and Mark to make it to the semi-finals given the scores the couple has received from the judges to date.

But to have outlasted athletes such as Rick Fox and tonight’s exitee, NFL superstar Kurt Warner, now, that is either impressive or mind-boggling depending on which camp you fall under: The camp that roots for the underdog or the camp that is at a loss on how this young girl from Alaska has more fans dialing in to vote for her than celebs two or three times her age, with more perceived popularity and who have achieved far many more accomplishments.

Regardless, nice guy Kurt Warner has danced his last dance. And Kurt left Tuesday night’s results show with as much class as he has shown all season. He said,

“You know, I learned a long time ago that life isn’t always about winning and losing competitions. But it’s about relationships, it’s about impacting people—and so I thank everybody at Dancing With the Stars because it gave me an opportunity to impact people and build relationships. So that’s really what it’s all about.”

So,  now, Brandy, Jennifer Grey, Kyle Massey or (take a deep breath) Bristol Palin will win the much sought after mirrorball trophy. Who do you think it will be? Who do you think it should be?

Dancing With The Stars: With Only Two Weeks Left, A Couple Finally Scores A Perfect 30.

All week long, the Dancing with the Stars cast members have been dreading the new evil-torture-tactic spawned on them by the producers of DWTS: The Instant Dance!

What is Instant Dance you ask? Instant Dance on tonight’s show meant that for one of their two dances, each of the five remaining contestants found out which song they’d be dancing to only minutes before the live performance. Sounds brutal. But, all their week-long fears were for naught because almost everyone actually performed better during their feared-performance.
Jennifer Grey even scored the season’s first perfect score of 30 on her Instant Dance rumba to Foreigner’s Waiting for a Girl Like You.

Jennifer, who is still fighting tendinitis in her left knee, also received rave reviews for her first dance, the quickstep, and scored a 27.

Brandy was ever-so-close to getting a perfect 30 as well, scoring two 10’s on her waltz from both Len Goodman and Bruno Tonioli, but not from Carrie Ann Inaba who gave her a 9. Brandy and Maksim Chmerkovskiy then drew Katy Perry’s Teenage Dream for their cha-cha.

How’d they do on their cha-cha? Pretty good, landing a 28.
Bristol Palin surprised all with the Argentine tango as far as technicality is concerned, but still could not nail the artistic aspect of the dance, matching her last week’s score of 24. She got a 23 on her second dance, the samba. 8’s almost all around for the girl from Alaska.
Carrie Ann said that Kyle Massey’s first dance, the waltz, was “a fairytale come to life.” Kyle scored a respectable 27 for his participation in Carrie Ann’s fairytale. For their second dance, Kyle got handed Good Golly Miss Molly as his surprise song, and as usual, his personality shined through. He got two 10’s out of Carrie Ann and Bruno and 9 from Len for a total of 29.
Poor Kurt Warner. Bruno told him right off: “Obviously, there are people that are better than you, but you’ve come a long way!” For their first dance, Kurt got a disappointing 24. Then, Kurt got a surprise song he had never heard of before, Hella Good and just like the song, he danced hella good, but again ended with a 24.

Here’s the leaderboard, combining both dances:

Brandy & Maks Chmerkovskiy: 57 (29, 28)
Jennifer Grey Derek Hough 57 (27, 30)
Kyle Massey & Lacey Schwimmer: 56 (27, 29)
Kurt Warner & Anna Trebunskaya 48 (24, 24)
Bristol Palin & Mark Ballas 47 (24, 23)

Another star goes home tomorrow! Who do you think it will be?

ABC Unveils Skating With The Stars Cast

As soon as the current season of Dancing With the Stars finishes, ABC will debut a brand new celebrity competition, this time, involving an ice rink versus a dance floor.
The show will be called Skating With the Stars and ABC unveiled its inaugural cast tonight during the Dancing with the Stars Tuesday results show.  Here are the six “celebs” who will kickoff the new ABC show live Nov. 22:

Bethenny Frankel, star of Bravo’s Bethenny Getting Married? and formerly The Real Housewives of New York

Brandon Mychal Smith plays super-suave Nico Harris on the Disney Channel sitcom Sonny With A Chance. He also recently starred as Stubby in the Disney Channel Original Movie StarStruck.

Jonny Moseley has amassed an impressive list of titles and medals as a skier but it’s his ability to bring the crowd to its feet that defines his career. He’s been a free-skiing force in the Olympics and at the X-Games.

Daytime Emmy Award nominee and fan favorite Rebecca Budig originally joined the cast of All My Children in 1999, playing the role of Greenlee Smythe. After nearly a year hiatus, she made her many fans very happy by returning in December of 2009.

From Blade Runner with Harrison Ford to No Way Out with Kevin Costner to Ace Ventura: Pet Detective with Jim Carrey, Sean has starred in some of the most iconic movies in Hollywood history!

Vince Neil is a rocker and founding member of Mötley Crüe. His unmistakable voice leads some of the greatest rock songs of this generation including: Shout At The Devil, Home Sweet Home, Girls, Girls, Girls, Dr. Feelgood, Kickstart My Heart, Same Ol Situation, and the recent Saints of Los Angeles, which was nominated for a Grammy Award in 2009.

When I first heard about another celebrity skating show, I thought this was a joke because Fox had tried this a few years ago and failed pretty miserably.  But, I guess ABC is serious.  Let’s hope this show enjoys all of the success of its sister show, Dancing with the Stars.

Ok–back to the results! After the votes were tabulated, it was Rick Fox who was sent packing, despite the fact that the judges had told him last night that he had danced his “best dance yet.” Rick had also received his best individual score and even a 10 from guest judge Hélio Castroneves!

“It’s been a transformational journey for me,” Fox said, his voice breaking down a bit. “It’s been amazing. My relationship has transformed with my girlfriend, my daughter—it’s the most enjoyable time having her here and sharing this with me.”
