Singer Colbie Caillat Attacked By Insects While Performing [VIDEO]

When you think of Colbie Caillat, you may think of her 2007 single hit “Bubbly”. Well, that was the song she was singing Tuesday night in Pittsburgh when she got attacked by a swarm of insects on stage!
“I am so sorry, but this is scary,” Caillat said as she ran away from the microphone. Like a champ though, she recovered, and came back to finish the song.

“Oh my goodness. I am traumatized from the bazillion bugs that were literally raining on me from the sky while singing on stage,” Caillat later wrote on her Facebook page.

Watch Colbie Caillat get attacked by bugs in the YouTube video below (the attack starts at the 2:10 mark). Caillat is currently on tour with Gavin DeGraw and Andy Grammer.

The annual “Hollywood Christmas Celebration at The Grove” was held Sunday, November 13, 2011, bringing the spirit of the holiday season to Los Angeles.

Hosted by Extra’s Mario Lopez, the evening included spectacular performances by Colbie Caillat, Robin Thicke, Gavin DeGraw, Il Divo, Sean Kingston, Lauren Alaina, Jackie Evancho, and Victoria Justice.

Colbie Caillat Performs Songs From New Album (VIDEO/PHOTOS)

Colbie Caillat became a household name when her song Bubbly went from Myspace sensation to a worldwide smash hit in 2007. Since, she’s won a Grammy and has put out one chart topper single after another. She was spotted Monday at The Grove in Los Angeles for an interview with Mario Lopez of Extra.

Colbie has just put out her third album All Of You which she says is very familiar in sound to her last, having a bit of pop, acoustic, and summery vibe. About the sad love songs on the album, she says they’re about a man she broke up with. She wrote I Never Told You after the two broke up and she started missing him. The other love songs on the new album are about relationships and the ups and downs of falling in love.
