LISTEN: Rihanna & Chris Brown Reunite To Remix Songs

Yep, it’s true. Rihanna and Chris Brown got back together, at least musically speaking, to collaborate on remixes of each other’s songs, Birthday Cake and Turn Up The Music. And the former couple took to Twitter to announce the happy news.

Chris was the first to Tweet: “@rihanna goo.gl/ttRJR YIKES!!! Cake, cake, cake!” including a link to Rihanna’s remixed Birthday Cake. Continue reading

Chris Brown Banned From Interviews In 2012

If you’ve been waiting with bated breath for a Chris Brown interview, don’t bother. You won’t see one.
Not in 2012 anyway.

That’s because Brown’s 2012 media strategy is to not have a media strategy at all. His manager says Brown won’t be allowed to do any interviews this year, probably a step to protect the gaffe-aholic singer from…well, himself. Continue reading

Rihanna: “I Walked Around With A Very F*ck You Attitude”

Rihanna graces the August issue of Cosmopolitan (UK) and in the accompanying interview, she dishes on love, dating, what she finds attractive in a guy, being a “hunter” like men, and how she dealt with Chris Brown.

“I’m open to love. But guys should have to earn it. Because the minute they get it, they want something else,” the international superstar says inside the mag.

“Men are like hunters: they like the chase. So you have to keep ’em guessing. Actually, I’m like that too. I get bored quickly,” she admits.

Dating Rihanna can’t be easy for the average Joe. She says: “It can definitely be intimidating to guys to date someone in this industry. It’s really hard to find a guy who really doesn’t care about that stuff. Right now, it’s easier just having my career to focus on.”

As for the Chris Brown altercation, Rihanna says, “It was an aggressive and defensive time, and allowed me to start not giving a s–t. I’ve always been good at masking my emotions.” Rihanna continues: “For me, it’s tougher to be vulnerable than to be tough.”

“I walked around with a very f*ck-you attitude.”

2011 BET [Redemption?] Awards: Chris Brown & Michael Vick Among Award Winners

The BET Awards were broadcast live Sunday night from the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles. Big winner of the night? 22-year-old Chris Brown who walked away with five trophies, including male R&B artist, video of the year and collaboration for Look at Me Now.

Brown thanked his fans and said they are everything to him. “I know it’s been a long road. I just appreciate every blessing that’s been put in front of me.”
Brown not only won big, but he was also involved, albeit due to no fault of his own, in the most awkward moment of the night. BET changed its usual paper envelopes with tablets for the first time when announcing the winners. And when they tried to announce the Coca-Cola Viewers’ Choice Award by using a random young viewer to read the results, all went to the crapper. The young announcer went blank-faced for a second before announcing Chris Brown as the winner. Then, to her horror a couple of seconds later, she backtracked and said, “I’m sorry, the winner is Rihanna for What’s My Name.” The crowd jeered as Rihanna’s song played. The co-announcer then said, “This is awkward, the winner is Drake,” as Drake came on stage to accept “his” award.

If that weren’t bad and strange enough, BET later tweeted a congratulations to Chris Brown for winning the Coca Cola Viewers Choice Award. So, the fan was right the first time but we have no idea why the mistake was made.

Rihanna Attacks MTV Canada for Story That She Admitted Provoking Chris Brown Attack

My guess, and hope, is that Rihanna‘s Twitter account was hacked – because a story went around the internet Thursday that the singer sent this message via her Twitter: “I admit it, I provoked Chris to hit me. I’t [sic] was not entirely his fault. #ImSORRY.”
Huh?
This “news” was circulated on heels of recent revelations that Rihanna and Chris Brown mutually “follow” each other on Twitter.  Earlier this week, Chris Brown tweeted to his entire fan base, when he possibly meant to direct message Rihanna, “You got that pic I sent you?” Or maybe it wasn’t a mistake and perhaps Chris’ account was hacked too?
Who knows?! But, regardless, Rihanna was seeing red when the story made its way to MTV Canada and she took to Twitter to attack back: “@mtvnewscanada are u f**king kiddin me?????? You’re supposed to be a RELIABLE source for news on music and this is the bulls**t u post??”

MTV Canada also took to Twitter and tried to explain itself: “#Rihanna fans. We were reporting on a story that was posted on several sites today. We had no intention to be salacious.”

I am sure there will be lots more of this to come…

Chris Brown Spoofs Ricky Romance’s Death Threat

In case you haven’t heard, Chris Brown and Raz-B got into a Twitter war right after Christmas.

Then after the rant ended, Raz’s brother, Ricky Romance, threatened Chris Brown’s life on video, and insinuated he would shoot Brown if he ever set foot in Los Angeles.

And now, an even more bizarre video has surfaced, this time, it’s Chris Brown spoofing Ricky Romance’s death threat. It’s called, “You Softer Than Baby Puppies Right Now.”

No comment needed.

Chris Brown & Raz-B Fight An Ugly Twitter War Of Hurtful Words

Raz-B & Me.

So much for anger management! Only 9 days after Chris Brown Tweeted a copy of his anger management graduation certificate [see below], he got into a homophobic, abusive, profanity-filled Twitter fight with former B2K member De’Mario Thornton, a.k.a. Raz-B.

In this hours-long cyber fight, the two exchanged such heavy-weighted sucker punches which would have sent most people over the edge.

It all began with this one tweet from Raz-B: “I’m just sittin here Thinking how can nig*as like @ebenet & @ChrisBrown disrespect women as Intelligent as @HalleBerry11 [and] @Rihanna.”

And it just went down hill after that, with Chris Brown making fun of allegations Raz-B had made a while back claiming he was molested by his band’s male manager.

I am sure more will come Thursday as Raz-B was up into the wee hours of the night Tweeting. Below is most of their exchange, but I warn you, it is foul. Read at your own peril! I have not edited or cleaned up anything.

Sidenote: I had recently met Raz-B at a fashion show and was extremely impressed by this man’s demeanor and sense of respect. So, it’s really odd to say the least to be reporting on this. I am just going to let their own words speak for each man involved.

Raz-B: Im just sittin here Thinking how can niggas like @ebenet & @ChrisBrown disrespect women as Intelligent as @HalleBerry11@Rihanna

Chris Brown’s Domestic Violence Course Completion Certificate

Rihanna Opens Up And Says “I Smile For Real Now”

Rihanna opened up in the December issue of Marie Claire UK about last year’s physical altercation with ex-boyfriend Chris Brown and her views on what happened may surprise you.

Rihanna: “God has a crazy way of working, and sometimes when stuff happens you feel like, ‘What did I do to deserve this?’ Why was it backfiring on me? But I needed that wake-up call in my life. I needed a turning point, and that’s what God was giving to me.”

After the violent incident on the night of the 2009 Grammy Awards, Chris Brown pled guilty to assault. He was sentenced to more than 1,400 hours of community service and five years of probation.

Rihanna
does say that one of the more difficult things at the time was having to deal with what the media was saying about her and the incident.  “All this terrible stuff they say to you, it breaks you down,” she says. “[But] once you’re back on your feet — if you ever make it back on your feet — that’s the ultimate achievement.”

Like other abused women, Rihanna had a hard time breaking up with Chris Brown after the incident, but recalls the moment she finally knew the relationship was over. “I remember I was in New York at the Trump Hotel and I woke up and I just knew I was over it. It was a different day. I felt different. I didn’t feel lonely. I felt like I wanted to get up and be in the world. That was a great, great feeling.”

Others notice a difference in her as well. “I feel like I smile for real this time. The smiles come from inside, and it exudes in everything I do. People feel my energy is different. When I smile they can tell that it’s pure bliss and not just a cover up.”
