All of the stars played it safe on the 2013 Oscars Red Carpet, with a few exceptions. Here is a run down of the 2013 Academy Awards best and worst of fashion: The most exciting fashion look on the carpet was 9 year old Quvenzhané Wallis with her adorable blue dress and always present puppy purse. Most of the other ladies who hit the carpet played it safe in predictable colors, shapes and designers. Continue reading

Amanda Seyfried Raps ‘California Love’ As A Frog

Amanda Seyfried made an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show today and during her interview, dished about a night out with her Les Miserables co-stars at a karaoke bar in Japan. Of course, leave it to Ellen to want more than just a retelling of the story. She wanted a reenactment!

So, to oblige, Seyfried became a rapping frog! She put on a frog mask and started sipping sake. And then, she started showing off her hip-hop skills by performing 2Pac’s 1995 hit “California Love”. Oh I can’t do it justice by just talking about it. Watch it all for yourself in the video clip below: Continue reading

Amanda Seyfried & Justin Timberlake Spill On Movie Romance & Sex Scenes

Amanda Seyfried and Justin Timberlake co-star in an upcoming futuristic thriller, In Time, where people stop aging at 25 and will die unless they buy more time. The co-stars sat down with W magazine and gave a pretty interesting and candid interview about the intimate scenes they had to shoot in the movie.

Totally unrelated to the movie, the duo posed as a tongue-in-chic presidential couple on the mag’s cover, saluting the upcoming political season.

Here are some excerpts from their interview:

On what is romantic:

Justin: “To me, romance is not just about love. I recently saw Lust, Caution, and it’s tragic and romantic. I don’t know how they shot those [sex] scenes. Those scenes looked crazy.”

On finding the romance in every role she plays:

Amanda: “It’s set in the future, where money buys you time. My character falls in love with Justin’s character—she wants to give him all the time he needs so he can save the world. It’s very romantic. No matter what’s happening in my life, I can always get lost in the romances of my characters.”

On sex scenes with JT:
Amanda: “Sex scenes are great. A lot of my costars have been sexy guys my age, and so, why not? I’m not going to pretend it’s not fun. Justin was great—he had come from doing Friends With Benefits, where he basically had sex every day at work—and so it was easy for both of us. We just kind of got it on, and then were like, ‘That was good!'”
On “bringing sexy back”:
Justin: “It does seem brash. But truthfully, I didn’t see myself in that song. I wanted people to feel as if they were saying the lyrics themselves. I imagined guys and girls, and guys and guys, and girls and girls singing it to each other in Ibiza or in a club in Manhattan or at a huge open-air festival. At the end of the day, I hope it was a song that people used. Because that was always my experience with music—I put myself in the mind and movement of the artist. I don’t think Michael Jackson really thought he was “bad,” but you felt like you were bad when you sang that song.”

Amanda Seyfried Kisses…And Tells…

Amanda Seyfried is every where I look. Her latest endeavor other than starring in the upcoming Red Riding Hood? She graces the April 2011 issue of Elle magazine where she talks about “being seen” with Ryan Phillippe, on needing Botox, and her best on-screen kisses.

Here are some highlights from the interview:

On being told she needed to get Botox:

“I was like, Damn you! But we’re in Hollywood. I’m on a huge screen. With these new digital cameras, you can see the peach fuzz on my face.”

On her best on-screen kisses
“I can’t lie. It didn’t suck making out with Channing [Tatum] and Justin [Timberlake].”

On Alexander Skarsgard:

“We dated. He’s superfunny, but I was too involved with Dom.”

On her rumored romance with Ryan Phillippe:

“Um, yeah. I’ve been ‘seen’ with him.”

On falling in love with her co-stars:

“[It is] one of the easiest things in the world. You’re both open. You’re put in a situation where you have to make out with each other. It’s easy for things to get carried away.”

On her next co-star wish:

“I’d really love to make out with Michael Fassbender. Put me in a movie with that guy. I’m serious. Wow.”
