Jake Pavelka To Star In Bold And The Beautiful

Jake Pavelka of The Bachelor, The Bachelorette, and most recently of Dancing With the Stars, will be playing the role of a pilot on The Bold and the Beautiful.

The episode of his one-time appearance will air January, 2011.

Funny that Jake is playing a pilot on TV since in real life, he flies planes for Delta Airlines.
As his last stint on TV, Jake played a dating reality show contestant on Drop Dead Diva. In Jake’s case, seems like it is art that imitates life.

My “Had I Blinked, I Would Have Missed” Brush With Arnold Schwarzenegger At The Grove Christmas Tree Lighting

The annual lighting of the 110-foot Christmas Tree took place Sunday night at The Grove in Los Angeles.

David Archuleta, Jesse McCartney, Charice, and Wilson Phillips performed and the grand finale tree lighting was accompanied by fireworks and fake snowfall.

The biggest star was not on stage but sitting in the audience, front row, and it was Arnold Schwarzenegger. I spotted him at the end of the festivities and right before the fireworks went off.  As soon as the celebration was over, Arnold was rushed right past where I was standing. Good thing the camera was ready!

Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows Blows Magical Dust On Box Office Sales

7 is definitely a lucky magical number. At least for Harry Potter!

The seventh installment in the Harry Potter series, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1, has already earned an estimated $125.1 million in U.S. ticket sales, which would make this the best opening weekend in franchise’s history. The last installment, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, had a $77.8 million weekend opening in July 2009.

What made this movie so successful?  Dan Fellman, domestic distribution president of Warner Brothers, says: “One of the greatest accomplishments here is that we have been able to age the franchise. We have been able to keep our fan base as the characters have aged and the movies have become darker. And the three main actors [Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, and Rupert Grint] have become really terrific, adult actors.”

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 is scheduled to open nationwide on July 15, 2011.

As werewolf Jared in the ‘Twilight’ saga, 23-year-old Bronson Pelletier can count on a pack of support in a showdown. But faced with some real-life foes at a recent ‘Twilight’ convention in England, the young Canadian actor found himself in a very scary situation.

Four men, who were allegedly drunk guests at a nearby wedding in the same venue, attacked Pelletier in the men’s room of a Hilton hotel where he was a main attraction at ‘Eternal Twilight 4,’ a fan expo packed with teenage girls in Birmingham, about 120 miles from London (Peter Facinelli was the biggest ‘Twilight’ star originally booked to appear, but was ultimately a no-show).

Pelletier suffered a broken nose in the confrontation, during which the men reportedly struck and headbutted him until he was able to escape. Police chased the suspects, and witnesses say cops used a Taser to restrain one. All four were arrested on suspicion of assault; two have since been released and two were granted bail, pending further investigation. The motive for the attack has not been made public.

A source told the U.K.’s Daily Telegraph, according to WENN, “Bronson was really angry and upset. These guys were very nasty. They were so drunk, they probably didn’t even realize they were picking on a Hollywood actor.”
The 5’11” actor, who will soon be seen in the two-part ‘Breaking Dawn’ films currently in production, visited a New Zealand convention last year and told a local news outlet about his efforts to buff up, as he prepped for his debut in the franchise, 2009’s ‘Twilight’ sequel ‘New Moon’: “We worked out an hour and a half each day, we were doing stuff like Muay Thai, Brazilian jujitsu, conditioning strength training — it was pretty intense stuff.”

Part 1 of ‘The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn’ opens in the U.S. in November 2011.

White Powder Found In Envelope Addressed To Bristol Palin – DWTS Studio Evacuated

People are not happy with Bristol Palin being in the finale of Dancing with the Starsand they are voicing their disapproval is strange, violent ways.

Late Friday night, the FBI and L.A. emergency officials rushed to CBS studios from where DWTS is broadcast after a CBS employee had found an envelope containing a suspicious white powder addressed to contestant Bristol Palin, says TMZ.

ABC released this statement: “An envelope containing an unknown substance was delivered to the ‘Dancing with the Stars’ production office on Friday evening. Security and the Los Angeles Fire Department and Los Angeles Police Department were immediately notified. Measures were taken to secure the area and ensure the safety of personnel. Ultimately, we were advised by the LAFD that the substance was determined to be talcum powder.”

The FBI also stated that the “letter will be transported to a regional lab for further testing” and “a joint investigation is continuing.”

This comes on the heels of a man in Wisconsin shooting his TV Monday night and then turning the gun on his wife in an attempt to shoot her after he watched Bristiol Palin’s performance on DWTS and because he did not think Bristol belongs on the show. The shooting led to a 15-hour stand off over Monday night, calling for the involvement of hostage negotiators. Per TMZ, the man was charged with 2nd degree reckless endangerment and could face up to 10 years in prison if convicted.
