VIDEOS: Dancing Stars 9/26 Recap, Performances, Scores

Season thirteen of Dancing With The Stars second performance show aired September 26, 2011. Eleven couples remained to dance the night away to the Quickstep or the Jive for America’s vote. Here is how things shook down:

Southwest Airlines Responds To Claims That Leisha Hailey Kicked Off Plane For Being Gay

Leisha Hailey, an actress from Showtime’s The L Word, claims she was escorted off of a Southwest Airlines flight Monday for kissing her girlfriend on the plane.

Leisha’s girlfriend, Camila Grey, took to Twitter after the incident to say:

“So we’ve joined the ranks alongside @BJAofficial and @ThatKevinSmith for being kicked off an @SouthwestAir flight, this time for being gay. @SouthwestAir We didn’t know intolerance and discrimination for slouchy pants, being overweight or being gay was part of your family values”

Hailey then Tweeted her version of the events:

“I have been discriminated against by @SouthwestAir. Flt. attendant said that it was a “family” airline and kissing was not ok. This is an outrage. I demand a public apology by @SouthwestAir and a refund. Hate is not a family value. I will never fly this airline. We were escorted off the plane for getting upset about the issue. @SouthwestAir endorses homophobic employees. No one made her accountable.”

“They don’t like us,” the actress also Tweeted.

Southwest responded to the allegations by saying the employees simply acted in response to passenger complains about the actress’ “excessive” affection toward her girlfriend.

The statement reads, “Our crew, responsible for the comfort of all Customers on board, approached the passengers based solely on behavior and not gender. The conversation escalated to a level that was better resolved on the ground, as opposed to in flight.

We are ready to work directly with the passengers involved to offer our heartfelt apologies for falling short of their expectation.”

VIDEO: Nancy Grace Survives Wardrobe Malfunction On DWTS!

Dancing with the Stars had its first wardrobe malfunction of the season and it involved Nancy Grace on the September 26, 2011 episode. The 51-year old HLN host showed off a little more than she hoped at the end of her Quickstep dance number with partner Tristan MacManus when her chest popped out of her dress.

The cameras cut away to a random audience shot (which seemed like stock footage as no one was clapping) at the time of the nip slippage and Grace took the time to reshuffle things as needed before the camera shot back at her burying her face into MacManus’ chest. Host Tom Bergeron quipped, “That’s alright! On the European version that would be perfectly fine.”

Judge Len Goodman said of the performance, “How refreshing!” he continued, “That was a proper quickstep. Well done!” Bruno Tonioli called it a “bit top heavy,” and said he “got an eyeful!” Mary Ann Inaba said she saw definite improvement in her dance.

911 Called For Ellen DeGeneres: Chest Pains

TMZ is reporting that 911 was called to the Warners’ Bros. lot because Ellen DeGeneres suffered chest pains during a producers’ meeting.

Per TMZ, someone from Ellen’s staff called 911 around 11:53 am but Ellen may already be doing fine. She was seen walking on her own after the Fire Dept. left.

Story developing.

UPDATE: Ellen herself responds to this news: “You know I like to tell you what’s going on in my life. So today, I will tell you what’s going on in my life because TMZ is also telling you what’s going on in my life. So I’ll tell you at the same time that they’re telling you. What happened was, last night I was having chest pains. So this morning the paramedics came to look at me. First of all, I’m fine. Let me just say, I’m fine. The paramedics were strippers that I had called. That’s how the rumors got started.”

Ellen continued, “I woke up in the middle of the night. I was feeling like a tightness of my chest and all the scary things… like something was heavy on my chest and it was a cat so I moved it. I still felt the tightness and heaviness so there was another cat under that cat. There were two cats on my chest. Then I got to work and it was still happening. I was still feeling the pains. So I was like, ya know, I should check this out. It’s better to be safe than sorry. Who doesn’t want to see a fireman occasionally?”

“…We called the paramedics here on the Warner Bros. lot and about 50 trucks and ambulances, like one marching band short of a parade showed up outside of my office. Then they come in with an axe. Break the door down. It was open. I don’t know why they did that. They came in, they asked me all the questions; how are you feeling? When did it start? Family history? Can I get tickets to the ’12 Days?’ All the questions that they would ask, but everything is fine. I don’t know what it is, but it’s fine.”
“I have a baboon heart that I had put in earlier… it’s not true. But I want to say thank you to all the paramedics and the nurses who showed up and everybody and TMZ for caring so much… I appreciate it. Thank you.”

Kirsten Dunst Dishes On Her Past Depression & New Guy

Melancholia actress Kirsten Dunst graces the November 2011 cover of Flare magazine in Giambattista Valli.

Here are some excerpts from the interview inside the mag:

On her 2008 treatment for depression:

“I think that most human beings go through some sort of depression in their life. And if they don’t, I think that’s weird.” She continues, “People are embarrassed to talk about it – I would never put anyone down that was in that kind of space.”

On surprising herself with her critically-acclaimed performance in Melancholia:
“It was really hard for me to watch because I don’t recognize myself in parts of that film. It weirds me out a little bit. Like my voice change, this look in my eye. It scared me a little bit.”
On her dating life:
“I haven’t dated an actor in a very long time. I’ve dated someone for a pretty long time now who’s not an actor [Razorlight singer Johnny Borrell], and it works better.”

Watch The Big Bang Theory on DVD!

In the Pilot Episode of The Big Bang Theory which airs Monday 9/19, Leonard meets Penny for the first time and is immediately infatuated with her. While his roommates say that she is an unattainable goal, Leonard is an idealist and strives to be worthy of her. Even going so far as to confront her much larger and stronger ex-boyfriend, resulting in him getting de-pantsed. That had to have been an embarrassing moment for Leonard for sure!

What’s the most embarassing thing you’ve had happen to you? My most embarrassing moment was when I was back stage at a Bon Jovi concert and telling everyone that I am a huge fan of the band. That is true. But then Bon Jovi drummer Tico Torres came up to our group and I called him by the wrong name! The name of an old band member no less. OOOPS!

What’s the most embarassing thing you’ve had happen to you?

You can catch all the embarrassing moments on The Big Bang Theory which is now on 5 Nights a Week! Check your local listings at www.bigbangweeknights.com.

I have been hired by Warner Bros. WBWord division to promote The Big Bang Theory in Syndication.
