Adrian Peterson – Gets Sports Illustrated Cover; Donates Funds To Disaster Response Group

Minnesota Vikings star running back Adrian Peterson, who stands on the verge of breaking the NFL’s single-season rushing record less than a year after major knee surgery, is honored this week by getting his fifth cover of Sports Illustrated.

The SI cover calls this the year of  Adrian Peterson. And it certainly is, both on and off the field. The current leader in the NFL for rushing yards, is also a leader on the charity front. AP has opened his checkbook to donate $50,000 from his All Day Foundation to the disaster response veteran service organization, Team Rubicon. Continue reading

OH JOY! It’s officially Christmas now that the 2012 Kardashian Christmas Card has been unveiled which you can see it here.

The Kardashian-Jenner clan opted for an all-white wardrobe for this year’s holiday card and the entire family is present, even though Khloé Kardashian Odom revealed recently that a few of them had to be Photoshopped in due to their busy schedules.

New family addition, Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick’s new baby daughter Penelope, can be spotted in the mix. Even Kim‘s late cat Mercy made the cut, but Kim’s man Kanye West did not.

OneRepublic Launches Fundraising Campaign for Newtown Victims’ Families [VIDEO]

OneRepublic is taking immediate action to lend a helping hand to the families of Sandy Hook’s victims.

Ryan Tedder and crew started a fundraising campaign this weekend for the benefit of the families who lost loved ones in Friday’s senseless and heartbreaking shooting in Newtown, Connecticut. The campaign will provide funds for funeral services and help alleviate some of the financial burdens placed on the affected families. Continue reading
