Harry Styles of One Direction has gone solo! At least on one single, ‘Don’t Let Me Go’, which was leaked online! Is this the end of the road for One Direction as a band?
The 19-year-old One Direction singer penned the lyrics to ‘Don’t Let Me Go’ himself, in collaboration with British musician Sam McCarthy. “Wow! Thanks for all the nice tweets about the song,” Sam Tweeted after the song leaked online. “Harry did most of the words I did the music.”
So is this solo song the sign that One Direction is breaking up and Harry is pulling a Justin Timberlake? We don’t know. We don’t even know when this song was written. It could be old for all we know (though I doubt it) so we can’t yet jump to any conclusions. Continue reading

Academy Award winning filmmaker and National Geographic Explorer-in-Residence James Cameron was in Washington DC yesterday as part of the National Geographic Explorer’s Symposium. Cameron appeared alongside his team members who designed and built the DEEPSEA CHALLENGER submersible. In March 2012, the sub successfully transported Cameron to the ocean’s deepest point and the deepest known place on the planet – 35,800 feet (almost seven miles), the lowest point in the Mariana Trench. Martinez shared the happy news on the red carpet at the Champs-Elysées Film Festival in Paris. Amid rumors that he and Halle are eyeing a possible move to France, Olivier stated that “My son will be an American, but I remain French.” He went on to say, “Meaning, I remain a Frenchman in America, but I adapt to American culture. I feel good there — but I’m still a foreigner.”
Halle will join Olivier in Paris this week; she is being honored at the film festival. She and Olivier are scheduled to walk the red carpet at the event together.
